Rock solid, trustworthy, and competent staff, especially the shop manager. No one ever tried to upsell, BS, or mislead me, and even at high traffic times they got my car in and out record fast. Last time I came in, the manager and one of the mechanics walked me into the shop to show me they'd noticed a potential strut leak. Fun story - the transport spacers on my struts had never been removed during new car PDI, which means that my poor car had almost zero suspension travel for its entire 50k miles. *Both* my front struts were irreparably FUBAR and the dealership replaced them for free. The point of this story....at least THREE SEPARATE VW DEALERSHIPS over THREE YEARS had my car up on a lift with the tires off multiple times for new inventory inspection/maintenance/etc, and ALL OF THEM somehow missed the presence of the spacers and the resulting long-term strut leaks. But you know who didn't miss anything? Brookline VIP Tires, that's who. I'm beyond grateful for these guys. Their expertise and attention to detail saved me a lot more front end damage and potentially a dangerous component failure. I can't recommend this shop highly enough!

I brought my Volkswagen Tiguan in for a rattling noise that the Boston VW dealership diagnosed as a brake issue. Leroy from VIP in Brookline was able to diagnose the issue in under 10 minutes, walking me through what parts of the car were contributing to the noise. Turns out, it wasn’t my brakes at all. The front desk was super helpful in getting me a quote for the necessary repairs (front struts replaced) and in about a week the parts were ordered/delivered. Leroy took great care with my car and completed the repairs in a day once the parts came in. I’m happy to say that the rattling noise from the suspension is gone and my car once again drives/handles super smoothly! Will definitely be coming back for routine service! :)

Do NOT waste your time with these scammers. The tow truck driver handed them my keys and they managed to lose them in a 15 minute period with my house and work keys attached. I then had to wait over the weekend for them to "find my keys" and replace my tires. Then they tried charging me $900+ for a rim replacement I didn't need. Do NOT go here! Go anywhere else!

I work down the street and all of us go here whenever we have a car issue that happens to inopportunely occur as we are on our way to work- like a tire light goes on or a windshield wiper stops working. We have all had 10/10 experience every time. They always accommodate us, even though they don’t know us, and the car is ready by the time we leave work. I have actually started using them for other car repairs since the Audi dealership charges way more and not as quick.

I had a great experience getting my tires replaced. I ordered my tires and scheduled the service appointment online. Someone called to confirm the appointment time and gather a few additional details. I scheduled an early morning appointment so that I could make it to work after. Unfortunately, the technician who was scheduled for first thing called out sick and the next tech wasn’t due in for an hour. That’s totally out of their control, and I appreciated that the once the tech came in, they worked quickly and my car was ready sooner than they estimated. Both employees I interacted with were so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!

I wish the appointment program was more accurate. I came in with a scheduled “waiter” appointment and they had no idea I was coming in and then I was told it would be 1 hour and 30 min. I then left came back 1 hour and 30 minutes later and my car had not moved. Fast forward 2 hours later and my car was ready. My other shop uses autoops scheduler and it’s a much better booking experience.

thank you to the team at VIP for making me remember what it’s like to drive a car with a solid brake system!! i originally came in for an auditory concern with my car and every step of the way, david made sure to bring me back and show me exactly what could be worked on and what level of importance it was. it felt extremely validating to experience that level of honesty and professionalism on my first visit and i appreciated it a bunch- bassil was extremely helpful and personable; he was able to help with the paperwork and made sure to go over what was done and explained an estimate for another service that i inquired about! i also interacted with mike and jose and they were really helpful with my questions and showed such great patience with me- you guys ROCK! brookline is lucky to have such a great shop!

I want to share my experience here so more people will know what to expect before going to VIP tires. I would avoid this place because “Leroy Campbell” had such a bad attitude. First, I found them online saying that they offer free brakes check. I recently bought a used vehicle from a dealership. It passed inspection. Every time I depressed the brakes. I heard loud noises. I took my car to VIP for the "free brakes check". While I was explaining the situation to a man at the front desk. Leroy was also there. He stood up and gave me his business card and told me that he is the "super star"(so childish). Then he told me that there are "free" and "paid" brake checks. The free one is just a simple visual check. The paid one is just for them to look deeper. I said I just want the free brake check since the car passed inspection 2 weeks ago. After he looked at my brakes, he said everything was ok. He simply explained the health of the brakes to me. I asked him if he could repeat one more time so I can write down the details. He refuses and said, "I only said it once!" I was shocked for his attitude. I really don't like this type of customer service. He is just too lazy to do anything. Just sitting there and playing with his phone. Claimed to be the "super star". This is ridiculous! People need to grow up.
