I had a great experience with Volvo of Burlingame when I brought my car in to have the cameras recalibrated after a windshield replacement. They were professional and completed the work quickly. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is that the team said they would wash my car but when I picked it up it had not been washed. Don't set an expectation if it will not be met.

I had good experience buying my Volvo here so, I thought would go to get it serviced as well but thats where i was wrong and learnt a painful lesson.... Service department is pathetic here. Just to clarify when i mean service department i mean the service advisors, i worked with Michael, who is courteous but lacked any apathy what so ever, In my car they had updated the software and it broke the user interface to point where there was no way to change certain options on the car. It is a 60 mile drive to and to and from my place so its not like i drop by to get this checked. In my frustration, I wanted to speak to the manager regarding the quality control and called the service department again to check if they were available, they assured me he would call within the hour......6 hours has gone by so far no one has called me. Not even the advisor who i had called in the morning. This says a lot about the way the customer is treated at Putnam volvo service. If you want this kinda treatment then there is no better place than this. [Update] After trying a few more time to reach the manager, i finally got a callback. He name was Jim and was more helpful and offered to make it right. That means i have to go back to again.

They are extremely rude! Will miss inform you as to how long it will take just to hold you from going anywhere else. Will tell you that they have openings that day, but when you go in to get a small thing done, they will say it may take 2 days to a week. When i said thats unprofessional and they they should disclose the time it will take when calling to make an appointment. the employees Michael and Crystal lauged at me after saying it was unprofessional. They should be fired. I've never had such poor serviceespeciallyfrom a volvo dealer. They will tell you the other volvo places are behind and could take up to 30 days. That's not true. We ended up going to san francisco volvo, and they did it while we were there. It took an hour. Do not go here!

I have driven down the same street for many years and did not know there was a Volvo shop there. I passed the place twice trying to find it! Upon arrival I was greeted warmly by Crystal. She was attentive and explained everything to me clearly. She let me know where the waiting room and bathroom were located. In the waiting room there are snacks, beverages and comfortable seating. The mechanic periodically came in to update me on the service of my car. They even changed the batteries of my key fob. Everyone seemed friendly and warm welcoming. I would recommend this service center.

My xc90 warranty was ending and I got an extended warranty quote from another dealer that was a bit fishy. I called Burlingame Volvo on a whim and I am grateful that Cartier was very honest with me and I ended up choosing an option that suited my needs. I also told him that I had an appointment two weeks later for an airbag error on my car and he suggested calling Burlingame service to see if they could squeeze me in. They did, and had space the next day. I went and Michael was great- he kept me informed of the progress and luckily it wasn't a big issue and I left in a few hours. Thank you both Michael and Cartier for being honest and warm people to work with.

This is so far the best experience I had having my Volvo get a maintenance check-up in a Volvo service Center. Rick was very accommodating & took note of all my concerns about my car & had them taken cared of immediately by the persons responsible to address the issues I presented. My car was washed as was promised unlike in another Volvo service center where my car seat was messed up & the car wash promised was not done. Good job Rick!!

Untrustworthy. Got a quote ($95) for a specific service on the phone, the advisor said she confirmed it with the service department. When I showed up for my appointment I was told the cost would be roughly double ($175) what I was quoted and they couldn’t do anything to honor the originally quoted price. If the misquote had been hundreds of dollars off I would’ve understood not honoring the quote, for this instance I do not understand the business strategy behind not honoring the quote.
