She didn't have to sell me hard - I had already researched the car I wanted and knew what it was worth - and she let me do my thing, made it easy to transfer plates/registration/insurance, was a pleasant and honest person work with. If I could give zero stars, I would. Volvo / Polestar Manhattan’s service department is an absolute disaster. They take your car and then flat-out tell you they won’t even look at it for 72 hours. No loaner available, but instead they “set you up” with a Hertz rental that’s a $35+ Uber ride away, only for Hertz to tell you they were never notified, so you waste even more time calling back and forth. Three days pass, no update. Four days, still no update. I finally call, only to be told they haven’t even looked at the car yet and may not get to it until next week. That’s before any repairs even start or parts are ordered (which could drag this out indefinitely). The most basic courtesy, an update from the service advisors, is nonexistent. Radio silence unless you chase them down. For a brand like Volvo / Polestar, this is completely unacceptable. I’ve been leasing Volvos for 9 years (multiple cars) and Polestars for 4 years, and I’ve never experienced service this awful and careless. They’ve made it clear: customers’ time, money, and loyalty mean nothing here, but make sure to pay your monthly fee. UPDATE: we are now 1 full week in and no update from the service manager there or the service director. Ignore the request to call the number in their response below. It does nothing other than route you to the same phone number for the service department where a manager or service director isn’t ever available to speak This place is abysmal. My next call is to the general manager of the dealership and Volvo corporate.

Shopping for a new car, especially if you’re looking for quality and sophistication at a fair price is a patient and tiring search. When we finally visited Volvo Manhattan on 11th Avenue we felt a completely relaxed feeling come over us. Not only are the Volvo vehicles a joy to behold but the sales and management team is professional, knowledgeable and, most importantly, warm and friendly. I've had good luck with this dealership but Dallanara Veloz -- my customer service rep -- took my experience to a whole new level. I'd had a minor accident (I drove up and over a large tree that fell down in front of me during a storm) that proved to be more damaging than I'd realized. Dallanara handled everything -- coordinating with my insurance, back and forth as more damage was uncovered, parts needed to be ordered, etc. she kept me posted, returned my calls and texts promptly and explained everything as we went along. Simply the best!

We had a brief conversation with our sales rep, Eric Mitchell who contacted us soon after to tell us about two choices that had come in. We were looking for a used low mileage v60 Cross Country, in black. The two choices were excellent and we moved immediately to purchase. We had an issue with the rims having some scratches, and in a few days that was completely repaired, perfectly. We got what we think was a fair trade-in on our 2015 XC70. All-in-all, very happy with the process and the purchase.

I scheduled a service appointment for Tuesday morning and checked in at 8:00 AM. The service representative informed me that the assessment would take several days (3–5 days)... I decided to leave the car and take my chances, even though no loaners were available and no courtesy Lyft ride was offered. Day 1 (Tuesday): No one looked at the car. Day 2 (Wednesday): No one looked at the car. Day 3 (Thursday): Still no progress. I received a message indicating that the car might be needed until Friday. Late Thursday afternoon, I decided to pick up the car. This was, by far, my worst experience at Volvo Manhattan Service, a clear example of poor communication and disregard for the customer’s time and experience. To make matters worse, they seemed completely oblivious to the situation and even texted me asking for feedback instead of addressing the issue. Even one star is way too much for the Volvo Manhattan Service department.

Visit from the UK !!! Great service lovely team from front of house, service and parts ! I came in to get some merch because I have a Volvo in the UK but there isn't as much options and extras as the US. Instantly I have a amazing Volvo bottle that I needed to have. I recently had my 2022 Volvo XC60 in for service. From start to finish they could not have made the process any easier or better. They arranged to have my car picked up at my garage (I live in Manhattan). Throughout the service process I was regularly made aware of the progress and any repairs that needed to be done and suggestions for additional maintenance. When the service was completed the car was returned, as scheduled to my garage. This entire process was done while I was in California. There is no question, that going forward, I will have my car serviced at Volvo Cars of Manhattan.

I had a wonderful experience at Volvo Cars Manhattan. They had the best inventory, prices and most knowledgeable sales people. Because of this, I purchased a car from their NYC location even though I live in RI. Angela helped me with navigating the purchase of my new XC40 and she was wonderful, she gave me updates every day and answered all of my questions promptly. I leased a 2023 Volvo XC60 expecting a safe, reliable luxury vehicle, but my experience has been the opposite. The car has had persistent issues that the dealership has not been able to fix: • Apple CarPlay: Works sporadically. It completely failed during a night drive upstate NY, forcing me to pull over and improvise navigation while my child slept in the back seat. That’s not just inconvenient—it’s unsafe. • Volvo App: Stopped working after one month. I can’t pre-cool or pre-heat the car, which defeats the purpose of paying for a premium vehicle. • Sound System: Intermittent failures mean no calls, no music, and even safety alerts like turn signals and collision warnings go silent. Once I get to the dealership, everything magically works again, so nothing gets fixed. As a parent, reliability is non-negotiable. This car has not delivered, and I cannot wait for this lease to end. For anyone considering this model: think twice. At this price point, you should expect peace of mind—not constant stress and uncertainty.

First I never leave a review but I had to after the great experience I had at the dealership. I purchased a used Bronco Raptor from them . Eric falcone who sold me the car helped me through the whole process from taking pictures and arranging pickup. I live on Long Island when i went to pick up the truck I was impressed by the upscale dealership and the cleanliness of the showroom. The truck I picked up I saw was better in person than on the computer.The detail from the detail shop at was the dealership was by far the best I had ever saw. The car was gleaming and super clean these guys deserve credit too. Every thing at this dealership from the salesman to finance was such a great experience. You won’t go wrong with this dealership. I just leased my first Volvo, and Angela truly went above and beyond to make it a wonderful experience. She took the time to understand what I was looking for, never pressured me, and helped me find the right car while staying within my parameters for a great lease. What really stood out was the day I picked up the car. There was a horrible rainstorm, and it took me over two hours to get to the dealership. Despite this, Angela and her team stayed late so I could still take delivery and drive the car home that day. That level of care and commitment meant a great deal to me. She has also followed up since to check in and make sure I’m enjoying the car. I had a great experience working with Angela and the team at Volvo Manhattan.

When I brought my car in, they told me it was still under warranty. A week later, they called me and said the car was actually not under warranty, and that I would need to pay almost $4,000 to get it fixed. I told them I wasn’t willing to spend that much money on the repair, so they said they would charge me a $450 fee instead. Then I asked them to put the car back together so I could come pick it up. But when I got the car back, I noticed that the check engine light and other warning lights were on, even though there were no warning lights at all when I first brought the car in. I went back to talk to them about it, and they told me, “Since you didn’t have the repair done here, that’s just how it is.” It was a really bad experience. I hope others don’t go there to buy a car or get repairs done. I took my car to the repair shop, and they told me that both the high-temperature radiator and the low-temperature radiator were broken. They said the high-temperature radiator seemed to have been deliberately damaged, as if someone had used a screwdriver or similar tool on it. However, the inspection report that Volvo staff sent me shows that only the low-temperature radiator was damaged. So I strongly suspect that because I didn’t have the repairs done at Volvo, they deliberately damaged my high-temperature radiator.

I recently purchased a new 2025 Volvo xc60 Plus from Volvo Cars Manhattan and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish my salesman James Paek was amazing. He was not only knowledgeable about the different features and options of the car, but he was also incredibly patient and understanding of my needs. He listened carefully to my preferences and didn’t try to pressure me into a purchase I wasn’t comfortable with. He went above and beyond to help me find the right car within my budget and I felt completely comfortable throughout the entire process. He made the car buying experience enjoyable and stress free. I had such an outstanding experience with Volvo Cars Manhattan service department. I initially scheduled service because my low coolant light came on. They made the entire process seamless by picking up my vehicle directly from my home, which was incredibly convenient. It turned out the coolant issue was just a software glitch. However, my service advisor, Jahbari, truly went above and beyond. While bringing my car in, he noticed an unusual noise and took the initiative to investigate further. That extra attention uncovered a timing belt issue that I wasn’t even aware of. He had it replaced under warranty and ensured everything was handled promptly. My car was returned exactly when promised, running perfectly. The communication, professionalism, and proactive care were exceptional. I couldn’t be happier with the level of service I received. I went in this past Thursday just looking to TEST DRIVE the 2023 xc40 that I had interest in. Once we met Rainier, we were met with exceptional service!
