I was very impressed with the convince of getting new tires. They got me in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Staff was very professional.

Stoped in to get two new tires. It took 3 hours before they got to my vehicle. Good and friendly service

Slowest service in Tuscaloosa. Took 4 hours to get new tires and an oil change. They said they were super busy that day (a Wednesday). The next time I got an oil change, it took over an hour and a half for just the oil change. The $5-10 I saved isn’t worth the extra hours it takes them to do anything

Man, I’m not the one to complain. But I drive a camaro RS and the size of the rear tires differ from the size of the front size tires. It’s a big noticeable difference. They put the tires on in reverse.I took my car to another dealership to get them swapped again and they just laughed and said “ yeah, looks like this came from Walmart.”

Will have you wasting your time outside waiting instead of checking you in while they sit and play on their phone. Then they vet upset with you for interrupting them to ask for help. Oh and let's not forget when they took 5 hours for an oil change. The only reason I go to them is that they are located next to Sam's club.

Half an hour before close “all the mechanics had gone home” and the shop was basically closed… couldn’t replace a simple valve stem that would probably take 5 mins

If you respect your time, just do not go there! I got brand new tires and wait for 4 hours and then I realized that they dorgot to balance them! Surprisingly, they asked me to wait for an other couple hours to fix a problem which was because of themselves!

I went to the Auto Care Center to get a new tire on my vehicle. The customer service Rep Sam was amazing! She greeted everyone with a Goodmorning and went out to check on the status of my car bc I was waiting for so long! She also helped me solve a few other issues I had! She was such a sweetheart! Thanks again Sam for going out your way to help me! Also the girl who took down my info and have me the stickers for my keys outside was nice too!

Customer service is good, but there is no place to sit and wait as the home office removed the benches. I am handicapped with limited walking, and was forced to walk through the store because of not staying in the area. I know there is covid but they should have chair at a distance for seniors, handicapped and even pregnant women. Until the end of the pandemic, I guess I will have to shop elsewhere or do only pickup. No more auto dept for now. I did complain to management and felt i was blown off

The females working at the service center were rude, they walked around looking over all of the customers waiting to pay for their oil change. One walked away as the one asked me what I was waiting for. After I told her she checked out 2 ppl in front of me and walked away. The second female returned and asked my name and finally returned my keys. This is the first time that had happened to me here. I will no longer be getting my oil changed here.

I spent three and a half hours at Walmart just to get two tires changed. the people who work in the shop acted like they didn't care they where slow and the manager even said he didn't care about something with another customer. I went there to save 20$ and the other shop I normally deal with who'd have had me out in 25 minutes. Poor service from wall Mart on Skyland Blvd in Tuscaloosa Alabama. First time going last time ever in my life. If I could I wouldn't give a single star.

Ordered tires online, went to have them put on, was told they never arrived, and couldn't get a single person to answer their phone lines. Walmart has basically gone down. Most employees seen as of they're rather pull their fingernails off with pliers than be at work. You can call their store and it will just ring and ring. Walmart corporate should really step in. Store is always disgusting now, nothing is kept in stock, and you can forget any one helping you with anything. I will say the tire center manager was nice and tried to be helpful.

Once again, 49 new self checkout registers, 12 maybe open and lines backed up. I think 4 registers within employees working them is fast than 12 self checkout. This is ridiculous.

02/24: Driving North from NOLA, all 4 tires clearly needed rebalance. Luckily, dropped in at slack time of day; folks at this Walmart had me in & out in 45 minutes, no $$ charge. (Lifetime tire balance & rotation)

After waiting for a little more than an hour to get tires put on my vehicle, then another hour, I drove my vehicle to Birmingham, all the way there and back, my vehicle was shaking so badly it frightened me! I called on my way back to tell someone about the problem, it took very long for someone to come to the phone. After getting there, waiting again for over an hour, I was still not completely satisfied. I had also requested to get my tires back, although it was after the service, I did get them back but was not refunded the tire recovery tax that I was charged. I also asked whom I perceived to be the manager on duty, due to the fact that the job was not done properly the first time, was I entitled to any kind of discount, and he said no because they fixed the problem. That was extremely unacceptable because I felt like it should have been done correctly the first time. I'm grateful that I didn't incur any other problems due to the inefficiency of the work performed. I do however feel that I should have received some sort of discount. I am an avid Wal-Mart shopper, but unfortunately I will not be inclined to use the auto service center again. Thank you kindly for the opportunity to give feed back and your attention to my concerns.

First time and last time I go to any Walmart for car maintenance services. I went in Sunday 03/05/2023 at 1:45 pm, I wanted to get 4 tires mounted in my Toyota Tundra. I detailedly explained the greeter of the car service department that I brought my own tires to get them mounted. She said that wouldn't be a problem and told me wait time was about 2.5 to 3 hours. I agreed to the wait time, around 4:30 pm (about 3 hours later) they finally get my car on the lift only to explain me that they were not gonna do the job since the tires I brought were not "new". I stated to them that they were new they just didn't had the sticker labels on them and that I was told by the greeter it wouldn't be a problem. The red headed lady (seemed to be the manager or one in charge) that day, refused to mount my tires since it was against "company policy" to do so. Basically they wasted 3 hours of my only day off during the week. Very unprofessional staff like most of the workforce in Alabama.

I always have new tires installed at the Tuscaloosa Walmart. This particular time there was an upsetting miscommunication. The much needed tires I ordered, and had confirmed were in house, actually were not when I arrived. And although, at that moment I was not at my "kindest", Ken, the department's manager, was extremely patient and very helpful. Even his follow-up was exemplary. His efforts helped me find tires in stock at another Walmart that I was able to have installed that same day. So this review, and my 10 stars (I know there are only 5 here) are for him! Thanks much Ken! You're efforts are greatly appreciated.

Came here after the hours were to be open untill 7pm. Called throughout the day, once in the morning and twice in the afternoon. As a college student i was not able to get down here untill around 3pm where to my avail, the lady at the desk decided they didn't have enough staff to fix the 2 cars that were in the bay and mine before closing 4 hours later.

Ok, after Walmart in Northport, AL said their lift didn't work. I went to Walmart in Tuscaloosa Alabama..They told me I didn't need an appointment to balance my tires which was suppose to have been done when I bought the new set of tires to be put on. Once I realized 😳 they didn't. I got to the tuscaloosa alabama walmart tire service when they opened at 7am, checked in, there was one (1) car before me. Fast forward it was almost 10am before they even started on my car. Really!!!!.No I would not recommend Walmart tire service in Northport Alabama nor Tuscaloosa Alabama.

Waited 30 min to check in. Went inside to see what the hold up was. Then I was told to pull up to the oil change bay and they would check me in. Oil change tech told me to go back to check in and my car was never serviced! 45 minutes of my life wasted because the staff wanted to be lazy! I just needed the car checked in I was going to leave it for them to preform the service but 45 minutes of waiting to not even be checked in is ridiculous !!! I will never be bringing my vehicle back
