I ordered tires from Walmart tire center online. It quoted me 5 days to deliver them to the Gilroy Walmart. 5 days later I got a text they were delayed. Over the next 4 weeks I called the Gilroy Walmart tire center no less than 5 times and each time no one ever picked up. The computer put me on hold until it times out then hung up on me. 5 weeks after ordering I canceled the order and took my business elsewhere.

Never have I had worse service or felt disappointed with what I purchased. I used to work at the Walmart TLE in Livermore for 2 years. I understand how stamped and outright busy you can get. No excuse! This TLE is completely understaffed to the point my oil change was 4 hours. When they were finished doing whatever they were doing, my oil filter wasn’t changed, my oil was half a quart over filled and my tires were deflated to 26 pounds in the front and 32 in the rear. After all that was done they couldn’t process my gift card I had just purchased in store and were mad at me because I didn’t have any other way to pay but with the gift card. Notes: -Staff and supply your employees with what they need including coworkers. -Stop hard selling gift cards you can’t accept. -Do Not Sell this as a Premium Oil change if you cannot complete services and in a timely matter.

I've got mixed feelings about my experience here, only because a simple oil change that was supposed to be done in about an hour, took over 4 hours and they never even tried to apologize.. Their lucky that I didn't cause a disturbance and get myself 86ed from the place.

One of the worst automotive experiences I’ve ever had. And that includes car accidents. Ordered tires a week before, no one could find them. Literally only one guy on register and one guy doing actual work. Wait time to have 4 tires put on was 5+ hours. Two guys working were reasonably polite. But whoever manages the auto center isn’t trying very hard.

I wouldn't even give one star if I could!! How can I use their business if the Tire Center or Automotive Dept. NEVER ANSWER their phones. I've tried calling ALL week at different times, still could not get a hold of them! I'm not giving my business to them if I can't get a hold of them!! What would happen if I took my vehicle there and I had questions or concerns??? Nope!! Taking my business elsewhere. What a waste of my time calling!! 😡😡😡

This is experience was terrible. When calling on the other day I got a totally different informative vibrant personality, and that is what made us drive here for our tires. But, when we got here it was a totally different experience. We were immediately introduced to terrible customer service and a terrible attitude. Every question we asked was responded with an attitude as well as no information regarding what we were asking. The employee was very rude, no customer service skills, and combative. He even spoke rudely to his coworker/employee. WE WILL NOT RETURN HERE FOR ANY SERVICES!

Had a tire get shredded on the 101 and got a tow to this spot. They had the right tire in stock to replace at a reasonable price. Staff was super friendly and made the experience smooth. Shoutout to Carlos and the full staff for getting us back on the road safely!

STAY AWAY! Awful, Awful, Awful customer service. Called to see if they can put tires on a 5th trailer and they said no problem. Order the tires and make an appointment. Call to make sure the tires are in, no one answers the phone so I drive over and make sure the tires are there. But the guy says not sure if they can do it but come a half hour early to make sure they have the time. Get there an hour early and they tell me we don't work on 5th wheel trailers. OMFG! Are you kidding me! We packed up our trailer the night before and missed an event due to these guys. Terrible! STAY AWAY!

Friendly service and was ready around the time he said it would be. Car feels smoother and stronger than ever after high mileage oil change new air filter, new wipers and tire rotation. Car has past 200k and expecting my Pilot to go another 200k.! But I'm gonna only give 4 ☆'s cuz I wanted the fuel system flushed I was told it wasn't available. 😕

Went for an oil change and they recommend for air filter too. (Had done synthetic oil change finished in hour and half) Though they said it can take 2 and 1/2 hours. They only had 2 people but eventually someone else came so they did it quicker.

Came on on Thursday morning before 9am, requested to rotate my tires front to back and back to front. I didn't have an appointment according to the Walmart Auto servicer, said they are all booked for today, even though at 8:40am, the tire bays are empty and there is no one else waiting in line. I got a next day 2pm appointment. I was there, and the servicer gave an obvious body language that he wasn't going to service me. I said I have an appointment. What time? 2pm. He looked at his watch twice to find a way to deny me since I am 10min late. After I told him, it is just straight front to back tires rotation. He does not ask for my name for my appointment, proceeded to check the tread on my tires, no doubt trying to find a way, not to do it. Sure enough said my front tires were low on tread should not be swapped to the back. I said the tires have legal tread. His supervisor came over, said the same. By the way, no cars are in the tire bays, no one else is waiting, it is 2:20pm now, guess they want to stop working. Wasted my drive from San Jose, twice. Do not recommend Walmart Auto in Gilroy, CA.

They , as Walmart ALWAYS does , did get the tires we ordered only they said they didn’t , cuz they were shipped as well, BIG ROUND MICHELIN 4X4TIRES SO THEY EA HAD A SHIPPING LABEL STUCK TO THEM! The manager saw only one with my name and couldn’t put 2 N 2 together - so they canceled my apt , BEFORE we even got there - my auto mechanic saved our Xmas holiday by picking them up FOR us & taking them to a Tire shop for alignment etc ! FIX AUTO BTW , don’t care what you need these people are TOP & I mean TOP NOTCH GO BEYOND WHAT IS REQUIRED, COMPANY . I love Walmart & they will forever have my loyalty- the Auto center however , needs to step aside , let me see for 3 weeks & it will be running tops & the team happy !

Attending person, think name Fayaz, is great person to interact with. He is calm in demure and patiently attending to customer queries. Services used - oil change Auto center is on the side, away from the normal shopper traffic and has ample parking around, including enough space at service-entrance to drive in and park in line (if you have appointment). Auto center might be understaffed since only 1 person was attending (not sure if due to holidays or that's typical) and that too everything (services checkin/checkout, customers trying to buy/inquire auto products - tires/batteries etc., going out to open the locked cages of precious items that Walmart thinks should be locked up :( ) appeared to being handled by 1 person, so there might be wait time, even if one has an appointment (hope they start online check-in for customers with appointments). From looks of it, think mechanics themselves don't interact (or at least didn't appear to man the terminal when there was a queue forming) with the customers.

I would have opted for 0 star if there was an option for it. I arrived at the location at the time of my appointment to get my tires replaced but there was no one to check me in. No one picks up the calls at the location to help with your queries. They were least bothered to help me despite having no cars to work on. Very poor experience overall.

Had went in for an oil change without an appointment, they were nice enough to fit me in. About two weeks later oil light came on and I had my car taken to a dealership. Was asked where did you get your last oil change? I told them it was Walmart why? They had added something to my car that wasn’t supposed to be there without telling me. It turns out I had an oil leak in my car. I then asked could Walmart be to blame? The dealership told me there could be a 50/50 chance that that was the problem. I was appalled that the employees would do that. Why not explain to me what was the problem with my car instead of trying to hide it, unless they were to blame? I now had to pay $400 as a quick fix or $800 to completely fix the problem. I have bills to pay I don’t have that kind of money. Whether they’re to blame or not instead of adding something to my car they should have told me about the problem instead of trying to hide it. Very bad customer service. You get what you pay for. It was very dangerous for them to do that. I would not recommend them at all

Fully staffed but only one person has a register number. Jimmy the ASM came by but didn’t help, and has no pulse on his shop or employees. This ... is ... bad. Really bad experience when 10+ auto shops are right down the street.

No signs for parking anywhere so it’s chaotic. The staff is standing around while the cars are just sitting and not being attended to. When customer shows up the techs start scattering and ghost you. They can tell you not to park in places but they disappear when you need help. Terrible.
