I used to love taking my vehicles here, but the staffing issues and unreliability of shop hours has become the norm. I pulled up there this morning and found 3 customers standing outside a closed shop that should have been open at 7AM. More ridiculous was that no employee bothered to put a sign in the door or take a moment to explain the problem. The only way to know there was a problem was to telephone the store’s customer service while the few auto shop staff members walked by and ignored the customers waiting outside. Unacceptable and unprofessional.

Had an appointment for an oil change. I arrived on time, they took my mileage, then I chose my oil change package. I was told they were out of high mileage synthetic oil. They would have to take it off the shelf but it would cost $9 more. They were going to use a 5 quart oil container. I told them my car used less than 4 quarts, they said they would give me what was leftover. I said why not use 4-1 quart containers (right there on the shelf), she said that's not what they're supposed to do. Walmart, this was the second time in 2 oil changes this has happened. Your managers do not know or care how to properly keep the auto department stocked to service your customers, and in the event they are lacking the service oil should not charge the customer extra for using shelf oil. They should fulfill the service at no additional cost to the customer. Walmart has no concept of customer service. They're app does not allow it to choose an oil package nor does it sync to each store to determine availability, I would have tried to pick a different location if I could. I left and scheduled an appointment with Midas, as they had a similar price. I'm also going to purchase my own car ramps and tools to do the oil changes myself as oil services are too expensive and unreliable. No professionalism from Walmart.
