The front desk gnome needs more training on customer service. Obviously never heard of service with a smile. It's sad because the front desk reflects on the other staff that no one sees. It's a shame that someone is so unhappy in their job that they feel the need to talk rudely to customers. I can understand if someone is giving him a hard time but when the customer is responding understandingly with a smile and is finally being told, " You need to order online and then male an appointment, there's nothing we can do for you. " ( this was after he told me I can't make appointments for getting only 3 tires replaced and had to be a walk-in) then he rudely went on to the next person before I even got out my response. I will be going elsewhere in the future.

The installation of my four-wheel cart was successful. They were very professional and friendly. I will return to Walmart Lisbon for other service. Walmart Windham the service is terrible. The mechanics there are arrogant Don't go Walmart Windham, I say for experience, they either don't know what they're talking about or look for reasons to not need to do the job. Either way, you're better off somewhere else.

Having used Lisbon Walmart for oil changes in the past I decided to schedule an appointment to get a new set of tires and an oil change at the same tire because they are very busy and Im not often keen on waiting. So on Sunday May 21 2023 when I got to the service center there was a single customer infront off me. Apparently the customer was an old family friend of the employee ALAN (real name). After nearly a 10 minute conversation that included such things how his family didnt use tractors to haul logs they used horses and how they used to live near Willimantic but it was easier to be "poor" down here. ALAN final stopped spouting drivel and noticed I was there. I then Specified that I wanted the appointment for an oil change, new tires, and wipers. Already a little put of at ALAN'S lackadaisical manor I grew increasingly irritated that instead of scheduling an appointment he began arguing with me at the tire size needed for my veichle. I said needed an 18 inch and he kept questioning it saying there were 3 sizes for my car and that were different models even though I had already specifed the make and exact model. Finally after however many minutes of him not scheduling the tire replacement I grew so frustrated I just left saying I was going to file a complaint with his manager. At this he sarcastically said thank you for being so kind.namr was ALAN.

worst experience at an auto center yet. first, they refuse me service—an hour after looking at my car and then lock my car. i had to call a locksmith and wait for hours to get it open in the freezing cold. no attempt to open my car. no compensation. nothing but excuses and refusing to take responsibility. instead, blamed me for all the miscommunication. although, also at fault. managers in charge are cowards behind a desk and do nothing to help or act concerned and shift blame onto soley the employee. my car may have not been in top peak shape but i didn’t ask you to fix my whole car. just two tire sensors. waste of time and money. won’t be back not even with a new car. worst auto center in town.

I have tried to have my oil changed twice here and each time they have told me they will not touch my car because the last person I had it serviced by “stripped the lug nut.” Each time after they refused me service I brought my car to a legitimate car garage and they said there was no problem with my lug nut and that Walmart is being lazy. Would not recommend.

Had a tire with a nail in it across the parking lot from the Walmart tire center in lisbon- walked in and asked if they could do it, told me they only have 2 guys working and aren't taking walkins, then tells me to walk to the AutoZone a mile away to get a part I needed, AutoZone didn't have it, went on a goose chase for nothing and still ended up having to get my car towed bc the spare wouldn't hold air and I went into Walmart 3 times to see if the TIRE REPLACEMENT department could offer any help or advice and they just kept telling me to watch a YouTube video and said something about "if there's issues with the lug nut, we cant do it" not understanding that I just needed a new tire on my rim which seems like something a tire place should be able to do in the 3 hours they were still open. Extremely annoying and frustrating that this happened next to a tire place and I still had to spend 115.00 on a tow home and even the tow guy said "oh yeah Im always towing cars from there bc they refuse to do work, they're lazy" so yeah, don't waste 3 hours like I did, call triple aaa

The customer service man,Alan F., was very courteous. I had 4 new tires put on and was done in a timely manner. I had to go back the next day because of low tire pressure. Alan F. waited on me again and got my car in right away. He was very busy and took time with each customer coming in. He's definitely an asset to that department.

If I could give them 0, I would. I am so incredibly frustrated and angry with how I was treated here. I was told I couldn't make an appointment but they'd hold my size tires for me. I get there, no tires and I was told I could make an appointment. I order the tires online, walk in on a Sunday morning for all 4 tires and an oil change. No updates all day, call about 5 hours later, they've been done with the car for awhile. I get there and they refused to change my oil because they said they would need to remove the skid plate and it was rusted on. They absolutely did not need to remove the skid plate, they just didn't want to do a simple job with an extended arm wrench. I usually will only give good reviews because I don't like to add to any negativity in the world, but good God this was infuriating, frustrating, disappointing, and truthfully really obnoxious. Don't go here for anything car related unless it's a quick tire change out in an emergency, which you'll also have to chase them down to see if it's done after 45 minutes because they never paged you in store or notified you on your phone. If I can help it, I'll never go here again.

We had a great experience here getting 4 new tires put on my Kia. Alan was outstanding at the front desk. Very helpful and kind. We got there for our appt, gave them our keys, and we got a text saying it was done about 20 minutes later. We will definitely be coming back in the future. It was very affordable and overall a good experience!

Terrible communication. I called twice with no response. So I drove a half hour down there. No walk-ins. I asked if they had an opening the next day. The guy slides the iPad towards and say "these are the openings." No mention that they were for Saturday. So I came in thinking I had an appointment with pre picked tires. Turns out they didn't even have the tires. They fit me in, which was great, but 30 minutes later, they called me to tell me they couldn't get the lug nuts of the two tires I NEEDED changed. 2 hours of driving, 40 or so minutes of waiting in line. Nothing fixed.

They torqued my oil drain bolt down far beyond spec, I sat on it with my impact, didn’t budge, 3/8ths ratchet, NOPE. It’s been 2 hours of me trying to get this off without damaging the housing. They also poorly rubbed liquid gasket all over it instead of just replacing the rubber washer, which is weird too because I don’t think I had an oil leak prior to coming but they should have informed me either way right?

I had an absolutely horrific experience getting my tires done here. Two hours into my appointment they told me they only have three tires for me, Jerry (the woman at the desk) was trying to tell me to go to a different wal mart to buy a tire and come back so their mechanics can put it on. The tire I ordered was pulled for an online order, it took three managers to get the tire back and put it on my car. Once the tire situation was figured out I waited two more hours for Kross (he called himself a technician) to come in from the garage to tell me I am missing a lug nut. Some random old man drove to the mechanic store to get me a lug nut (to be helpful) all the while, my lug nut lock and four extra lug nuts were inside my vehicle on the passenger seat. When I arrived at the appointment I told Jerry that the lock they needed was inside my car on the passenger seat (if I had known extra lug nuts were with it I would of said it), so Kross did not even start the process of changing my tires before coming back in to tell me he can not do it. During this time he slammed paperwork down, raised his voice at me, and tried to make me uncomfortable by staring me up and down and giving me dirty looks. At this point I was there for four hours and uncomfortable to wait alone. It took five hours to get the tires on my car and the customer service was HORRIBLE. I agree with the ratings that say the employees are incompetent and lazy. I will never be back, I feel bad for the employees who know what they are doing.

Absolutely the worst customer service and auto care I’ve ever experienced. Stay away and stay safe. The auto techs shouldn’t even be allowed to stock shelves forget about working on a vehicle that has the ability to hurt someone.

I always have my auto maintenance done at the Lisbon CT location. Not only are they super nice, they are very efficient and have made my experiences very pleasant and worry free. I will continue to get my vehicle serviced at this location because it’s a 10/10 for me. I highly recommend this auto center.

Impossible to get on the phone with anyone. I've called several different times of the day, over a couple different days, and waited over 10min with it just ringing... then someone finally answers and when I ask them a question, they say they're sending my call "down there" and transfers my call, the phone rings and apparently they sent me back to the main Walmart line. So then a very nice and patient gentlemen from the main line reconnects me BACK to the auto care department, and once again it just rings and rings. While I was waiting and listening to the endless ringing, I took the time to read all the recent reviews and this place sounds like a nightmare anyway so I finally stopped trying. Sounds like it's definitely not worth the headache. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

I got to my appt at 4:06 for my 4:30 appt. I was told they'd be able to take me in sooner but my car wasn't taken in to work until 4:56. When it finished at 5:28 - I went and got my car but the mechanic stained my fabric seats with oil, left grease marks on my door and arm rest, and left his rag in the hood of my car. This was my first and last oil change with this company. I'm going back to Valvoline - they're quicker and they don't damage your car. My mother also had an incident with them not too long ago where they never actually worked on her car while she was there and they ended up comping the oil change. Overall, the service department seems disorganized and would rather fix the issue they created after instead of addressing the issues to prevent them from happening.
