My husband and I brought our car to Stilly's for a clutch replacement on our manual vehicle. We had a recommendation from a friend that they were fair so we decided to try them out. The quote was much less than what we had gotten elsewhere and the service on the phone was super friendly with all of the people that we spoke to. We were able to get a prompt appointment and were told they would have the car for Monday and Tuesday. I got a friendly call early Tuesday to let me know the car was finished and everything went smoothly. No gimmicks, no other repairs recommended. I was somewhat in shock. Then I was told that the final price would be $100.00 less than the estimate I was given. What a blessing! When I picked up the car I was impressed with the cleanliness inside the shop and how neat and orderly all the paperwork was. I also was impressed with the kindness of the person who cashed me out. We will definitely be heading back to Stilly's in the future for any other big jobs we have. Thanks Stilly's :)

Definitely will never go back. MY ADVICE SKIP THIS SHOP. After 10 years of being a loyal customer. My car was damaged during repair. After speaking to the owner Scott, I definitely would not recommend this business to anyone. Not only did they damage my car which was verified by the dealership, they refused to take responsibility for their actions. Scott said and I quote. What do you think? I just damaged cars on purpose. Obviously accidents happen, but the mark of a good business owner is to take responsibility for their incompetent employees. And it seems like a lack of good mechanics. Thankfully the dealership was able to repair my car. Vachon Chevy quickly identified the issue and explained that it was caused by the previous mechanic. Had I continued to drive my car after I was assured by Stilly's there were no issues. I would have damaged it beyond repair. I would also suggest taking photos of your car prior to dropping it off since mine was returned with dents and damaged hood pistons. But as Scott stated he has a sign out front so he's not responsible. It's just such a shame to see.

It is entirely terrible when your car has an issue. The folks at Stilly's fit me into their busy schedule and got me going again. The customer service was great, the repair was great and the price was fair and honest. Something you don't find with a lot of repair places, honesty! They appear to have it in some abundance.

A friend recommended me to Stilly’s Auto a few years ago. I have never been to a better place to have my cars serviced! For over 30 years I always went back to the same big name dealership where I purchased my cars to have them serviced. I had to hang around for long times waiting for my turn for an oil change or rotating tires. They just never gave me the same “you matter and we are here to satisfy you and make you happy” that a get when I go to Stilly’s! Recently my granddaughter got her driver’s license and a used car to go with it. The tires were worn and I suspected so were the brakes. I made an appointment with Stilly’s to replace the tires & rotors and pads. Shortly after I dropped the car off I got a call from Todd, one of the members on the Stilly’s team, and I was thinking to myself “they found something else that needs to be repaired.” But instead he was telling me that we just inspected the brakes on my granddaughter’s car and they still have several thousand good years of wear left on them – we can replace them if you want us to but they don’t really need to be changed. It’s things like that, that makes Stilly’s the place for me to go for auto service ever since my friend recommended me to them.

My car wouldn’t start and my warranty sent this company out extremely fast. The tow truck driver was great, figured out I just needed a jump start and no tow was needed. Of course it was a Saturday on a holiday weekend and I was worried about not having my car. He arrived around 30 minutes, got it started and I was on my way. Would definitely recommend this company from this experience.

Would be zero if I could leave that, had my car brought here a few months back and it had died due to parasitic drain. They just charged me $210 to replace my battery telling me that my old one was bad. Charged it myself and sold it for $50, batteries held up fine for the gent I sold it to. They didn’t even try charging it. The headlight was out and they wanted $40 to replace the bulb. That ended up being what caused the drain and if it weren’t for having outrageous pricing ($417) for a diagnostic and battery replacement I probably would’ve paid the $45 they wanted to replace the headlight (again outrageous pricing bulb costs $20 at auto-zone and takes 1 minute to replace). Moral of the story, they didn’t even fix a problem that should’ve been extremely easy for a mechanic shop to handle and they over charge $ for below par service to put it nicely. Worst auto shop to go to if you’re trying to diagnose a specific issue. Got the work they quoted me at $2000 done for $500. Can find way better and cheaper easily.

They towed my car from a police stop, refused to tell me where they, I’m sorry I meant the women that was towing my car, she refused to tell me where she planned on taking my car, we agreed on a drop off point I was going to retrieve the money, & she pulled off on me LOL while we were both at the agreed meeting point, I had to go to Norwich police department and wait about 2-3 hrs for them to find my car , where was my car? In the neck of the woods! Why would you take my car all the way into the boondocks when you towed it from downtown Norwich? I get to the tow yard and I pay my fees (which didn’t make sense seemed like they just wanted some extra money) some immature dummy pulls my car out from back reviving my car like an absolute idiot and playing dumb like he wasn’t after I said something to the idiot , this company, I would absolutely refuse for my car to ever go in their lot, I would literally fight if I ever see their company pulling up to tow my car No I don’t have this company confused for a different one and of course your not going to find this name in your database lol, your not going to make me a target & team of with NPD, this is the CORRECT towing company that TOOK my car and tried holding it hostage
