Please note that their advertised oil change price DOES NOT include FILTER or LABOR. Nowhere is this mentioned in their website (and yes, i searched for fine print). I was quoted $55 for upto 5 quarts of full synthetic oil. I clearly asked at the time of ticket write-up on what is included in the quote and they mentioned that everything incl. Filter and labor is included. Additional quarts would be about $7. They charged extra for filter and another labor charge which ultimately came to $90...when challenged they say 'You would pay more than $100 elsewhere'. Then whats the point of going to Walmart if they charge the same. I wouldn't go there again.

Went to the Autocenter for a tire replacement due to a flat tire. I came in with the spare tire on. An hour later, technician approached me saying the tire is non-repairable. And so we looked online for a replacement & found one in-stock, and so we went ahead with the replacement. Half an hour later, car's ready & so i checked out & paid. Only to find out that they've mounted the new tire on the spare rim & installed on the car. So they had to take it back in. Half an hour later, they said its ready. I'm not sure whats going on, but they did exactly the same thing, mount the new tire on the spare rim & install, seems like they haven't touched anything yet. The manager was apologetic & i kept calm & patience. Manager even made a gesture by giving me a $25 giftcard. So, after 3hrs in the store for a tire replacement, they finally did it correctly. I did my final inspection before heading out & noticed the cover for the spare tire wasnt put on properly. Only to find out that they've ripped off the zipper on the cover. Btw, i have a RAV4 where the spare sits on the backdoor. And again i had to go back inside to inform the manager. Still kept my calm & manager again apologized since its already 7:30pm. Manager was too kind to realize that i had to be home with my wife/family by that time on Valentines Day. Technician was there with us as i was showing the damage on the spare tire cover. If only he admitted, i would gladly accept his apology but i didnt hear a word & even denied it instead. I kept my calm & been patient. Nothing i can do to help the situation. Maybe the technician's tired, his mind is pre-occupied, or just having a bad day. These things i can let go. But im writing this review just to warn everybody. As i drove home coming from this Walmart Autocenter, i was worried about my safety, with all the back-&-forths, in my mind i had questions - what if the technician didnt install the tire correctly, did he tighten the lugnuts properly, did he balance the new tire properly. I had those doubts because they released the car while the spare tire is hanging/not snugged properly. If i droveoff without checking, that spare tire cover would have fallen of the car without me even noticing or cause accidents for the cars behind me. Regarding the cover, manager offered to cover the cost. But i need to go to a dealership to get a price quote. Bring the quote to walmart for approval. And who knows how long will it take. At this point, im thinking of just just sewing tje zipper back myself hoping that it will hold up. This review serves as a warning of the very poor workmanship at this particular Walmart autocenter. Poor workmanship that might compromise your safety.

I had my father replace two front tires and after this my tire light has been on Flashing and then stops so I was told it was probably a sensor !! Come to find out my back two tires had 80 pounds over of air pressure and they claim they didn’t do it !! They did and it is still on and they did not fix it nor balance correctly!! I was suppose to have a synthetic oil change and my car is eating up gas more than ever I know this is not the correct oil or they did something to where my car is not working properly I am beyond upset and want my car fixed asap and for this matter bro be addressed!! Reading all the other reviews I see this is an experience others have encountered

Worst Auto Care ever. I had a flat tire and they turned me away because I didn’t have an appointment. I had been to other Walmarts in the area. The Auto Care center on Stonebrook location is the worst of worst. The shop manager, Ivy, is absolute rude and irrational. They should shut this operation or hire new crews all together.

Do not go here! The techs don't know what they are doing, they are under staffed, all customers are having long waits, every customer is angry. They also have a high call back rate. Save yourself headaches and go someplace else.

This facility uses suction oil change and mechanic (Saroj) does not how to do it properly. Right before I drive my van away from Auto Center, I checked the oil dip stick and it shows real dark oil color like old oil color. I went back to the auto center and asked, Saroj (mechanic who did the oil change) told that was what the suction oil change does. I then asked for manager and she agreed to do it again. what a waste time for both me and Walmart Auto Center and I totally lost my confidence on what they do there. Do not bring your vehicles to Walmart Frisco for the oil change unless you want to check oil color right after the oil change is done.

I had my first oil change at this location today, and Saroj did an excellent job. He was very polite, took my car in immediately upon my arrival for the appointment, and completed the service in about 30 minutes.

The person in the billing counter deserves the Worst employee of the year award. Extremely rude and will not listen to you. Simple question will not be heard and directly answered no. Very bureaucratic, red tape. The people working on the cars will do ANYTHING to NOT do the work. They make lame excuses and tell things cannot be fixed. They ask for appointments for everything and don't do the work so the appointment time of 1 hour they can just waste or talk or do nothing. Walmart Frisco Tire center at Stonebrook pls avoid at any cost, WORST EVER!!!!

Worst experience ever at this Walmart, Yasmin, was rude and unhelpful through the entire visit, my appointment was supposed to take an hour, and I had to get back to work, they did not care at all after an hour of waiting I was going to go get my vehicle just to leave because I was so done and they finally put it back in for service. Do not recommend if Yasmin is there just walk out.

This place can’t do customer service at all. Imagine going here for 4-5 years to do basic tire rotations, balance, and oil change, and they still treat you terribly. If my tires didn’t have factory warranty I think I would have made this decision sooner. Today I had an appointment at 9:30am, and I was roughly 20 minutes late. I explained I was running behind, and Instead of being understanding they automatically cancelled my appointment. Even though I was given attitude I decide to do a walk in appointment with them instead. After waiting from 10am to almost 2pm (roughly 4-5 hours) they finally decided the service for my car was done. For over a 5 hour period they struggled to do a simple oil change, tire maintenance, and a one nail repair. Don’t waste your money here, because the time it takes is not worth all this headache or hassle. The worse part is, as I said being a returning customer for so long and to be treated in this manner.

So I booked appointment for 12pm today for 1 tire to be replaced. Brought car in at 10 til 12pm. At 10 minutes after 1pm for 1 tire to be changed I got my car back finally and this is how it was given back to me. Why did they destroy lug not cover, and not even replace it?? Such horrible customer service NEVER AGAIN. Out of all my vehicles I have never had something like this given back to me from a tire and auto place. Pathetic Job!!

They clearly say their auto care staff are not mechanics - they can’t do diagnostics, they only do what they are requested for, trained to do so. Walmart auto care prices are most economical one… best when low on budget, whenever my car goes to garage it hurts most - other auto care easily create quite around 1000.

I wish they were more competent, in both their job and customer service. A simple request for a pressure check after replacing all 4 tires, since 2 of them looked a tad bit deflated, and I was asked to wait for like an hour until the person that did the job comes back! The last thing I want to do after replacing brand new tires is to take my car to a gas station to check the pressure.

DO NOT COME HERE! Totally incompetent staff. Ordered tires a week in advance. I arrive and they take the car back and tell me it will be 1 hour. 1 hour later.... they tell me they can't find the tires I ordered... it took an hour to notice you didn't have the tires I ordered?! They then scrambled for another half hour before miraculously finding my tires. Unbelievable. Now more time to actually do the job that should of already been done. What was supposed to take 1 hour ended up taking nearly 4 hours just to mount 4 tires. Go ANYWHERE else.... Edit: had to return because a tire had 3 valve stems leaking. They totally ignored the tire hissing air and the stem wiggling around. The "quick fix" again was not quick... I leave and have to come back a 3rd time after having 3 flat tires in less than an hour. One of the techs thinks its funny and is giggling about it. Still got flats again. I go back a 4th time and turns out the previous techs installed all the sensors WRONG and caused the leaks, yea I told them that the previous 2 returns and they didnt check for leaks any of those times. The manager is actually very nice and was very apologetic about the techs, but it is what it is. You cannot make this stuff up folks. Stay away from this place.

I had a very disappointing experience with the Auto Department at the Walmart Stonebrook location. I initially went to the Walmart Auto Care Center at 423 & Eldorado for an oil change, but they did not have the necessary supplies and suggested I visit Kwik Kar on Main Street in Frisco instead. They also mentioned they do not recommend the Stonebrook Walmart Auto Department due to unhelpful morning staff. Despite this, I decided to give the Stonebrook location a chance. I arrived at 7:00 a.m., right when they opened, and was the first customer there for an oil change. My vehicle remained in the same spot for five hours without any updates. After approximately four hours, I attempted to call the Auto Department to check on the status of my car but was placed on hold for 20 minutes with no response. After five hours, I went in to retrieve my keys so I could take my car elsewhere. Unfortunately, Yazmin was unprofessional and had an attitude when I asked for my keys. It is concerning that Walmart staff would discourage customers from using another Walmart location and instead recommend a completely different business. I ultimately took my car to Kwik Kar, where the staff was professional, completed my oil change within 15 minutes, and charged a comparable price. Based on this experience, I would recommend taking your vehicle to Kwik Kar rather than the Walmart Auto Department at the Stonebrook location.
