Texas has the most beautiful Walmarts ever. Besides being the cleanest they also have the most friendly people working there. This one is Galveston is my second one in Texas I’ve visited and both have been beautiful with floors you can eat from. Just look at their shine. Great job, Walmart 👍🏼

Beach access is great. And one main reasons we keep coming back every year. Warm water. Kids love it. So do the adults. This year 9 of us came rented villas. We just like it here.

There are people out there who work so hard to get their service dog where they need to be, it takes years for your furry friend to be properly trained to become a service dog. There are people out there who will bring their dogs to non-pet friendly areas, I have seen untrained dogs attack service dogs and their handlers from protecting them. Just think about it, there are medical alerts and guide dogs in the world today then one day an untrained dog ruined progress. My service dog alerted me if my blood pressure is unstable, what happens if he is alerting me, and a dog jumps out of nowhere and attacks him then it will be too late to react to protect your service dog, service dogs focus or do checks in with their handlers. Dogs are like people, not all dogs will like your dog. Please leave your pets at home, unless they are service dogs or in training.

Customer service counter was a joke. Some older man was helping me with my return and I wasn't sure if the receipt i had was for the item I purchased so he proceeded to check my credit cards. When he found it on a credit card he said he could give me a gift card for my return. I should him the the receipt that I gave him did indeed have the item I purchased on it to please give me the credit back to my card. He refused to do that and said that he had to put it on a gift card.

Visited Walmart Supercenter in Galveston prior to boarding our Carnival cruise for a few last minute necessities. The store was clean and as always priced right. Outside of the typical disorganized areas of Walmart it was a good experience. The most impressive was the fresh produce at competitive prices!

Supervisors Suzie & Shaneka need training in customer service. Neither would honor a clearance price (6 dollars off a full priced shirt for something that was clearly on a clearance rack and marked down on the Walmart app. Shouldn't be working in customer service with nasty attitudes. Find another job ladies.

Came to the auto center to have a tires repaired and was assisted by Laura. She was very nice and extremely helpful. I feel this is rare nowadays as it is hard to find people who will go above and beyond to help someone. She was more than awesome and I am very pleased to have been assisted by someone who actually cares about their job. This girl deserves a raise!!!

This store is well stocked. Most employees pay no attention to customers. We got what we wanted and were surprised at all the open checker lines. So many items are behind locked doors and no one is around.

I had an unpleasant experience in the laptop section of the electronics department. The staff member I interacted with demonstrated poor communication skills and lacked basic customer service, speaking in a rude and unhelpful manner. I’m surprised this behavior went unaddressed, and I would recommend a mystery audit or additional training to evaluate how customers are being treated in this area.

My experience today was based on that Spanish Grandma yall got. I love Everybody there even at pharmacy BUT her! I heard yall have moved her around from front door, to cosmetics. When she was at cosmetic dept she wouldn't open to cabinet for me. Now today I got her as my cashier. Not even a Hello. She acts mean, looks mean. She won't double bag cold food or Nothing! I had to. She acts like she hates her job! I will never ever get in her line Again! Get rid of her!!!!! She was at register #29 today.

DO NOT ORDER CUSTOM BAKERY ITEMS. I ordered and paid for a custom bakery item online one week before pick-up and they cancelled it the day I was to pick it up. This is unacceptable. Their response was a $10 code off my next $15 or more order. There will no future orders. Way to blow it Walmart.

I’ve been using walmart’s delivery/pickup service and so far it’s become one of my favorite ways to shop with them. I haven’t shopped at a walmart in years so these methods afford me the opportunity to shop with them without the hassle of going inside the store. On my last pickup order they handed us a gift, a cute little goodie bag filled with samples and coupons. I was totally appreciative. Pickup service is easy to use. Just pick a spot and check in on the app when you arrive. They’ll come out to your car and will pack the groceries for you. It saves me so much time and energy especially when I’d rather not wander through busy, overcrowded isles.

The customer service at the Pharmacy of this store is exceptional without question! I needed to supplement 4 prescriptions that I accidentally left at home, 600 miles away. The person who waited on me collected my information, and said that it may be late afternoon or the following day to complete it. She was courteous and precise as to the pharmacy procedures according to Texas requirements. To my shocking surprise, I received a text about 5 hours later that said my prescriptions were ready! When I picked them up, the pharmacy responded again with great courtesy, professionalism, and another kind smile. They accepted the complications that I handed them, and the Pharmacy team responded quickly and professionally, with some of the greatest customer service that I have ever experienced.

We had a great experience here when we visited Galveston for the first time. We got all sorts of fishing/beach gear and snacks for our vacation. When we first walked in, we all remarked how of nice a Walmart it is. Very well kept store with better prices than our store back home! I will say that if you are spiritually sensitive, you will find activity here, especially in the toy/bike aisles, but also the cookie aisle, which just added to its charm. We can't wait to come back to Galveston, and this Walmart made it so easy to get all the stuff we forgot or needed!
