First let me say I despise this store because my former ex used to be a manager here so that should tell you. I stopped in for gardening supplies and I was greeted by an older woman who had a very nasty attitude. I asked if they had carts for bigger items but the older lady told me I did not need one. So when I finally found what I thought was an actual deal I gave Mike the item number which was clearly marked as four dollars and sixty four cents. When I drove to load up my items I looked at my receipt and decided to discuss this with Miranda the manager. fyi she took 20 mins to arrive. Her solution: "I can give you one for that price"! I realize math is challenging but clearly I bought four in good faith. Customer service was contacted and I will happily shop somewhere else!

My wife ordered groceries waited 45min made sure she was checked in,and decided to walk up to the door where the employees come out once she was in a woman confronted her and told her she wasnt letting her back out and would not listen to her while she was back there ,treated her like a hostage should of called 911,the employee made her walk out front,my wife has problems breathing is why she ordered groceries to be picked up ,rather than goin shopping, this employee should be reprimanded other employees seen my wife walk thru the door ,could of asked her why she was there instead of making her feel threatened .

Had the bakery help me with my son's birthday cupcakes as you can see they're absolutely fabulous and perfect for his Pokemon themed birthday I seriously couldn't be happier with them and they where only 15 bucks and some change can't beat that so Go down to the bakery on 37th in Topeka Blvd ❣️ THEY ARE THE BEST ❣️

First, three employees standing around talking, not one acknowledged me or asked if I needed help. The one human they have for checkout and the cashier was lethargic and slow. The cashier was more concerned with restocking the shopping bags on the turnstyle than helping me. The cashier had plenty of bags already there and said hello. Not once did the cashier make eye contact. The cashier then made me wait till they finished putting bags on the rack at a snails pace. The cashier then placed the receipt on the turnstyle. They couldn't even hand it to me or at least place it in a bag. I swear they intentionally place the slowest employees on checkout to encourage self checkout. Today, 7 months later, i went back in. Not a single human cashier. They better put me on the payroll.

This is one of the best Walmarts I’ve ever been to as far as goods go. There womens intimates section is HUGE. The store is fairly clean and stocked. The only issue I have had is the employees have a bad attitude. Except one gal who just started 3 days earlier had the best attitude and was so sweet and friendly! I wish I got her name. Hopefully the older crowd of female workers don’t dim her sparkle.

Worst Online PickUp Walmart in Topeka. Sat in a parking stalll for 1hr or more for our order, questioned/called and spoke to 3 diff people who said they’d have it out soon. This place is ridiculous. Wanamaker and Northwest Rochester has never been like this.

My son and I visited this Walmart today and I’m gonna have to tell you. I was so impressed at least with the grocery side. It was all clean, organized faced out every aisle. The floors were clean. It looked beautiful. I was really impressed so today Walmart five stars. good job to the crew!

With Topeka stores being forced to open cashier lanes instead of ALL self checkout and leaving only a few self checkout lines. It makes checking out so much faster and the lines don't reach around the store. The store looks cleaner this way too

I hate the fact that this store went back to having fewer self checkouts to more cashiers. The last three times I was in there the self checkout line was a miles long with carts overflowing. So I used a cashier the first time the person in front of me, well her EBT card wasn't working because of a software update on Wal Marts end. Next was buying alcohol but cashier was not of age so he had to call someone so we wait and wait holding up the line so someone over 21 can scan alcohol that will take one second if that. The very last time was there it was the alcohol issue again. This time the register wasn't expecting the sale. The manager called someone but she said she couldn't come because she was busy. I said never mind and just went to another store. Its a pain in the rear to use cashier and then you have Karen who wants argue the price of every item

I asked 3 different employees to help me find something and asked where it was and all three of them couldn't even find it. Something so simple for them. I mean they got a darn phone to look up exactly where an item is and if they have any in stock. I just don't understand it. So I went to a different location and got the help I asked for and needed. So I'm grateful.

Finding the products and pretty much easy although the price of some has increased significantly. Although overall it was a reasonable experience. Not enough cashiers on one end of the store which they were none and not enough self-checkouts
