I really like Walt. He's very knowledgeable and runs a classic mechanic shop, not the increasingly popular cookie cutter shops. My car is not the greatest being from out of state, frankly a pain to work on, and he did a great job for a very fair price. The only downside is that he's frequently busy due to the number of customers that he has (which I would expect for a good mechanic).

Walt is amazing. I can’t count the times I’ve been told by other shops where I get tires or oil changes that I need this or that, only to come to Walt and find it’s something either not needed, or the solution is far less expensive. He’s knowledgeable, friendly, and explains everything in detail that needs to be done. I have never in the 15 years I’ve been a customer had to bring a vehicle back because something wasn’t done correctly. I had a recent experience where a shop told me I needed $1,600 worth of repairs. Took it to Walt and it turned out to be something completely different, and far less expensive. The $1,600 repair at the other shop wouldn’t have even fixed the real problem. An honest and competent mechanic like Walt is gold.
