Went there today. I usually clean the car myself at home but was feeling lazy. Figured I would use the touch less and then wipe and wax at home saving a step. I opted for the 20$ wash. I got home and the top of the car was clean, but the front, sides, and back were still dirty (no step saved and out 20$). Will not be using this place again. Changed review from 1 to 4 stars. The reason is the owner reached out and refunded my money. That shows a standup business. Thank you for the refund.

For $10, it cannot be beat. Incredibly simple, swipe your card, pick an option pull and *put the car in park*, & enjoy the fun. Every once in a while, I have some issue with not putting the car in the exact proper spot, but there’s a phone number and it says “we answer the phone”, and they do. A person answers immediately and always gives me a four digit code to pull around and do it again. It might just be me being a dodo bird lol, but it’s always a great wash. I have never chosen anything but the bottom line $10 car wash, but there are options. I just need the car washed, and I don’t have the money to go higher, and if I really did want undercarriage and special wheel treatment and hot wax, I’d go to a full service car wash, but 24/7 this one is available and for me it’s perfect. The car gets clean, even a decent Job on the wheels and I didn’t select the additional amount for wheels. If you’re not a fanatic, spend 10 bucks and you’ll love it

Decided to try new touch less clean. Not satisfied at all, side of car was still dirty, I can still write on side of the car with my hand. The back still had some soap left. Interesting idea but car isn't clean. Edit: Changed from 1 to 4 stars. Great customer service. If you are someone who washes their car weekly/montly than this would be a great idea. For someone who washes every other month, the dust might not all come off initially.

You probably won’t make it through your wash before the payment machines stops, you can’t re-swipe a card, now it says cash only, but there’s also a sign that says no coins. So bring singles I guess. Also, the Touchless is a full arch; don’t think a pickup or a wider SUV would fit.

There are 2 bays of touch less and 3 bays of self service. I used self serve. It accepts credit cards and maxes at $10. I was able to rinse/soap, brush soap, undercarriage rinse, wax, spotless rinse and about 30 seconds of air dry. Great deal! Not very packed at 11a on a Saturday (it was kinda cool and windy). I will certainly come back if in the neighborhood.

On 1/30/2025 I went through Wave Car Wash III in Wallingford. I purchased the Wheels & Protectant wash and when I got to my destination I noticed that my car was not cleaned efficiently. There was still spots from where the salt and water splashed by my tires. I had my assistant reach out to the phone number listed on the website and the Owner got right back to her! He profusely apologized for the lack in service and offered me a new code to go back. He said "My goal is 100% customer satisfaction. If you aren't pleased with your wash I am no pleased." In todays world I feel like there is a lack of empathy when it comes to services that are not up to par, and they went above and beyond to ensure that my car wash needs were met. I was pleasantly surprised by the interaction and would highly recommend Wave based on the owners attitude alone. Thank you so much for your kindness and your resolve to make sure I had the best possible experience.

Never had issues with any damages and We always come out with a nice smelly clean car, but today was exceptional because Colin the owner gave us a free car wash due to the reprogramming of the machine! UPDATE: The owner messaged me and was very kind and accommodating, he helped me out and was understanding of my experience. Will definitely be coming back, I’m very pleased with the way he handled the situation, he’s very kind I came here for the first time today, I was confused when I drove up because nobody came up to me and explained anything. I decided to do the touchless. I called the number that was posted there to ask for some assistance because I was confused. I ended up figuring it out and just did the $5 clean. When I go check my bank account, I noticed they charged me $10. The water pressure was barely working. When I get out, I checked my car and it’s still dirty. Very disappointed. I had heard about this place because I had gotten a coupon in the mail, and I couldn’t even use it because nobody was there to assist me. I will not be going back, honestly I want my money back, I’m very disappointed.

I’ve been using the Wallingford Wave Car Wash since the new owner Ed installed the brushless bays. At least 25+ car washes later I’m still a loyal customer. My car comes out spotless and without the brush marks that regular car washes leave. Never ever had any issues. 🚗 A+

Figured I'd do a touch up wash. Paid the extra for a tire wash. The tire wash extra is so extraordinary, I can only assume it includes the other extras. But I'd never know. Look, I'm casual. I wash my car kinda whenever I feel like it. But this didn't remove bird crap on my hood. When I got home, there were other deposits that I removed with windex and a paper towel. The tire extra was billed at $18. There is zero evidence my tires were ever touched. This garbage is criminally bad. I mean that literally. The owner should be prosecuted. EDIT: Had a great conversation with the owner, he expressed concern. He was to cut a check for me as a refund. I felt he was a decent guy trying to make a living. Still haven't received the check. He gave me a code for a free wash to earn his business. Noble. But the code didn't work. He asked me to remove my review if the second round was better. I would have. This is one of the worst carwashes I've experienced, and the owner is a liar and fraud. EDIT #2: I finally got a check for a *partial* refund yesterday.

I can't say enough good things about this Sully's car wash! I trust that my car will always comes out spotless without the risk of scratches or damage, which is a huge plus for me. But what really sets this place apart is the new management. The new owner is incredibly helpful, friendly, and truly goes above and beyond to make sure customers have a great experience. They answered all my questions with patience. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and take pride in the service he offers. If you haven’t been in a while, now is the time to check it out. Highly recommend!
