They did an amazing job! Bob is honest, hardworking, and won't rip you off. He not only fixed the problem but found my brake lights weren't working because of the sensor and fixed that. I was terrified I would be taken advantage of no matter where I took it and thought the bill for repairs were going to be outrageous but I was pleasantly surprised. His daughter Nicole was wonderful as well. I highly recommend them. I'm a customer for life! Thank you Bob and Nicole for such a wonderful experience!

Was referred by a family member when my transmission went out on my 07 F-150. I stopped by and spoke with Bob in person before taking it in, he was honest and gave me an idea of what I would be looking at. I stopped in to arrange having my vehicle dropped off after hours and spoke with his daughter and a couple of employees. They were all so friendly and helpful. Turn around on the quote and repair were quick. The financing option at the holidays made it so easy. At pickup I worked with Bob's wife (I apologize for not catching everyone's name) and was in and out quickly. Will refer them to anyone I can.

Completely rebuilt and upgraded transmission we invested over $6k in for our 2012 Dodge Ram 2500, proved to be short-lived, covering less than 60k miles within a span of four years. We expected a minimum of 100k miles, which is even on the low end for the quality of build we were told we received. It will no longer shift into gears and is completely inoperable. Despite our attempt, Westmoreland has declined any inspection of his prior transmission work to identify the cause of the problem. His only solution offered is to completely rebuild his previous work, at 100% our expense. Our expectations were for Westmoreland to inspect, determine the problem, and offer his services again at a fair cost to us, not an additional $6k full price. This would be a $12k investment at the end of the day. We could have gone to a more reputable shop who has pride in their trade for that rate, but we took the advice and reputation that he was honest and exceptionally skilled with diesel transmissions. Should Westmoreland decide to reevaluate and inspect the issue, our opinion might change. I value the chance to update my review based on positive actions. However, presently, I cannot recommend his service for reliability or a mechanic who truly stands behind their work. RESPONSE EDIT: At the time that we arranged the tow truck and informed Westmoreland, they changed their tune and refused to to inspect the truck and required payment for a complete rebuild.

A few months ago, I took my car here to get a diagnostic check because my car was having pretty significant issues (2015 Chevy Camaro LS). They test drove my car based on what I told them was wrong (they thought the issue could be the torque converter). After bringing the car back, they determined I needed a completely new transmission that would run me between 4 to 5 thousand dollars. They offered a couple thousand for my vehicle when the repairs were going to cost that, maybe less. Today, I got my car assessed to see what the total cost of repairs were for insurance purposes. This included a full diagnostic of the vehicle. The mechanic (I brought my car to a shop that wasn't through my insurance) that ran the diagnostic said that the transmission is running completely normal and that the torque converter needed a replacement. I should've gotten a second opinion from the beginning, but I put my trust in these guys which was a mistake. Do with that information what you will.

I can’t speak to the quality of their mechanical work. I do appreciate that they provide a free diagnosis. Unfortunately, in my case, they said i needed a new transmission. I went to get a 2nd opinion, and it ended up being a wheel bearing that had to be replaced. My transmission was perfectly fine. I also found it difficult to communicate with them - they never called me back when they said they would. They were nice when i was able to talk with them, but I can’t recommend this shop.

Brought my 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 to them after having a horrible experience at a different shop. The professionalism and quality of work the two techs do is VERY hard to find nowadays at other shops. They replaced my rear main and release bearing in just a few hours. They keep their shop very clean, cleaner than most shops I have been to. The owners are some of the kindest and caring people we have met in the area. They go above and beyond to make sure their customers are taken care of and happy. I haven't had an experience this great at a shop in a long time if not ever. This is the only shop I'll bring my vehicles to in the future. Bob (the owner) is very honest and fair to his customers.

Honest, Friendly, & Reliable. I was previously told by Firestone Complete Auto Care that my transmission was already slipping, so I booked a diagnosis with Engle Transmission, but they were swamped with work. I then went ahead and contacted Bob with Westmoreland due to their high reviews. They did not disappoint in the least! Turns out my transmission is fine for the time being. The team took a good look at it and stated it is not as I was originally told. Glad I went with Westmoreland! I recommend them above anywhere else around town. I can't say enough about Bob and Teresa Westmoreland, owners of Westmoreland Transmission, and the quality of work & service they provide. The transmission on my F-150 pickup stopped working, and a neighbor referred me to them. When I entered their business, I was shocked to see a SPOTLESSLY clean and organized shop and office. Bob and Teresa took time to talk to me and understand the symptoms I was experiencing. I had heard lots of stories about really expensive transmission replacement and repair nightmares; I have over 250,000 miles on this truck, and most shops said it needed a new transmission. Bob told me he could repair my transmission for THOUSAND'S less than replacing it. It only took him 1 day to do the suggested repair, and the transmission works like it's new. The Westmorelands are good, honest people in a very competitive business. I highly recommend them to anyone experiencing car trouble; yes, they do general repairs as well. Give them a chance to help with your vehicle; you won't be disappointed!

Bob was a very nice man and definitely knowledgeable about rebuilding transmissions. He rebuilt my f250 7.3 with 275K miles on it . Brought it in a two days later truck was done running again like new. He told me to drive it like you stole it and come back in another 300k miles. It’s been over two years and 100k miles and transmission runs like new. Definitely recommend..The guy working in the shop was a very nice guy also. Keep up the great customer service! 😃

Brought my truck in for what I thought needed a whole new rear differential. After their initial inspection (which they didn’t charge me for) they explained it was only my U joints that were bad. Rear main seal replacement. In at 8:30am out @ 2pm. INSANE!! Awesome staff both shop and front desk!! Family owned and operated and they look you in the eye when you speak to them. They gave me a heads up on a couple of other potential trouble spots on my F150 and NO pressure to update, etc. TAKE YOU VEHICLE TO THEM. Tremendous service - competitive pricing!!!!!!
