Apologies about the lateness of this review. I was back home visiting Tha Rock over the weekend of 10/13. I had been told earlier by a different shop that the rattling sound I was hearing was my heat shield that had come loose. Fast forward to that weekend. So, by the time I got to my family I could see something hanging low under my car and I assumed it was the muffler, it also started scraping the ground in low places. That weekend I started looking up shops. Monday the 16th I contacted a few and they were booked up for the day or week. I looked again at the shops that did walk-ins. Went to one of the other highly rated ones and the vibe was okay, but weird. They told me to come back at noon. I then went back to looking for shops and seen a few close to my location. Saw Wick was right there, gave them a call. Told them I thought My muffler was hanging and just needed to have it fixed at least enough for me to travel the three hours back home. They told me to come in at 2 pm. Once there it was AWESOME. No weird vibes, just a wholesome and helpful vibe. Also a great conversation! My mother and I enjoyed it. Next, I was informed that it was not my muffler, but my heat shield. I thought the heat shield was underneath the hood keeping the engine from burning stuff up lol. They took it off for me and put it in the trunk. They were super nice and understanding and really concerned about me driving on the highway with that hanging. Finally, you can't beat the price unless you're working for free lol. I appreciate you All at Wick so much. They are located in one of my old neighborhoods so that was nice! Whenever I need repairs again I will definitely give you all a call! Highly Recommend !

Traveling from Illinois to Wisconsin as an art vendor, our vehicle wheel bearings went out. Wick went out of their way to accommodate and started on the work as soon as we got it towed. I've been taking my personal and company vehicles to Brad at Wick Automotive for years. Very good quality work at a fair price. They aren't the type of shop that just throw parts at a car to try and solve an issue. They diagnose and only do the work that is needed. I highly recommend them for all auto work. When they work on a vehicle, it includes a warranty that they stand by and 1 year of reimbursed towing if needed.

I've been going to WICK automotive since I was 16 and had my first vehicle and they've worked on all my vehicles for the past 20 years. I recommend them. Great customer service and the mechanics are top notch. They know what they are talking about and they know how to repair your cars. Have been great when my car has an issue or needs an oil change. I like that they share what the issue is and the options available so I can choose what is best for me and understand the price difference as well. In 2018 I bought a 2007 Buick Rendezvous for my wife. Over time the car had an electrical problem and the mechanics on the street fixed things believing that they fixed it. I was driving from Des Plaines to East Dubuque for work when my car suddenly started roaring. I googled the nearest shop, and was blessed with the best one. Jessica started the experience with warmth and patience. Brad ended it with knowledge and honesty. Brad broke down the problem (my muffler was rusting off), and options so there was absolutely no confusion. I was very happy with the quotes for both options as well. I was on a schedule so I couldn’t stay for the permanent fix but the temporary fix was solid and quick. I drove home with no problems and no worries. They would be my mechanic if I didn’t live 60 miles away. I would give them my business any day of the week, and give more stars if I could.
