If we have any car issues we go to Wrench and Ratchet. They have been great. They have fixed our 4 wheel drive, helped with engine repairs and even dents in the bumper. They're the best and most honest mechanics we have seen. We've taken old cars with engine problems and they walk us through every option and always help us make the best decision for our vehicles and our family. We are grateful to have such a great mechanic and will not go anywhere else. Prices are always more than fair and they do a great job fixing our vehicles and getting us back on the road with very little hassle. A great and honest mechanic is hard to find. I brought in an 07 Cadillac Escalade that I’d originally bought at a very questionable dealer from day one it had major problems but I had no idea how bad. From the moment I walked into wrench and ratchet I was met with absolute kindness and professional service. Each member of the team was thoroughly knowledgeable and very efficient knowing exactly what was going on as a tried to explain in “girl language” what the vehicle was doing. LoL! They quickly went to work wasting no time, it turned out that the engine was bad and needed a new one. Within a few days a new engine was ordered and when it arrived, it was swapped out and installed within a couple hours and ready to drive the next morning and it was running BEAUTIFULLY! Better then I’d ever heard it run before. They worked so hard to save the old engine and when it couldnt be done they replaced it in record time. The owner was incredibly fair with all the work they’d done and costs for repair they’d put into it so that I would have a safe and reliable vehicle and it is now! I have never in my entire life dealt with a shop so knowledgeable and experienced and professional as wrench and wratchet! The shop owner and all his colleagues are absolutely amazing and I’m telling everyone I know! Seriously Thankyou so much!!!

I have used these guys for my car repair for years. I have found them to be honest and reliable. There have been a few times that I had to take it back to them but they have always made it right. This past repair, I advised them my wife is on hospice and I had a hard time getting my vehicle to them and pick it up. They volunteered to pick it up and return it to my house. I had a broken power steering pump but i was told at first it was my ac compressor that was broken by another mechanic. my aunt recommended me to Jose because he works here at the wrench and ratchet shop. Let me tell you Jose is one of the best mechanics i have met and i know a lot of mechanic. Right away he took my car in for a quick inspection st no cost and he is actually the one who helped me figured out what was the real thing broken in my vechile. Jose is a great mechanic and i think everyone should come to him for your vechiles needs. i even had a cold air intake that made my car not run it would turn off my car when i turned the key but i came to jose and he explained to me what's going on with it and how to fix it and he fixed it for me He's A-1, and very well trusted by lots!

I needed to have my spark plugs replaced and a friend recommended Wrench and Ratchet and I’m thankful he did as the first place I called was almost double the cost of what initially was quoted to me. Once I arrived, Jose recommended different spark plugs than the quote which took the cost even lower! Unfortunately they found an issue while repairing the spark plugs and I had that repair done too. I appreciate the care they took in repairing my Explorer and will definitely be coming back for any repairs I need. Thank you Wrench and Ratchet! You’re awesome!!

Either this place is incompetent or the Boise Best Auto is the shadiest dealership in town and just told them to ignore it. Supposedly they do the inspections for the dealership and yet they missed a sensor being SNAPPED OFF the brake reservoir. The shop we took it too literally laughed at how obvious it was but supposedly they don’t notice and the brake light just happened to turn on the morning after buying it(code clearly reset according to multiple mechanics, no way that light turns off without it and no way the sensor snapped off as little as we drove it day 1 without us noticing). So either they’re sketchy or closely associate with a company that is, I wouldn’t trust them 1 bit. Started working on a lawsuit against Boise best auto already but just got back from a long work trip to continue it. Going to be curious to see if this place ends up being involved as well and hopefully they have cameras inside that show what they do and say during these “inspections”
