Had a failure while traveling through the area and was only a few hundred miles into a 1500-mile hard deadline trip. It's hard enough for me to trust a shop I am familiar with, much less a shop I am at the complete mercy of. Not only did ZKB prove to be honest, but they also showed a very high and extremely uncommon level of care. I had data on board that wasn't directly relayed, and yet every step ZKB took to address my failure supported that very data. Pictures were also sent to me every step of the way. What could have taken a week, was completed in basically one day, and one very long night. I really can't say thank you enough to Zach and his team for how they treated me and my truck. ZKB deserves the highest recommendation.

Zack is awesome. I brought in a '99, 7.3 Power Stroke I was thinking of buying, he checked it over, educated me on diesel and this engine (I am an IT geek), and made a recommendation on an offer price bases on what he found and the work that "needed" to get done and the work that "should" get done. That armed me to make an offer (that the seller refused) but I now know what to look for and always know where I'll bring my trucks, ZKB.

We were traveling south on I-35 pulling our fifth wheel RV when we heard a loud bang, lost all turbo boost and much power. It was 4:00 P.M. on a Thursday and we were trying to escape the looming winter storm. I called KC Turbo, as I have a KC Turbo on my pickup, and they provided a number for ZKB diesel. I called, Zack answered and, after telling him the circumstances, he told me if I could limp on in he would wait for us. It was long after 5:00 when we arrived, but he warmly greeted us. He immediately came out and found the problem, gathered his tools, and had us repaired and back on our way to Arizona by 6:00 P.M.! Zack was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient in the repair, and I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ZACK AND ZKB DIESEL to anyone with a diesel vehicle repair need. These guys are the best! Zack called me and had to give me the bad news on my issue. It sucked but my engine was gone. They helped me out and gave me all sort of different options. They explained every thing and gave me the pros and cons of each option. The end product is by far the best choice. My new engine is a beast! I am so glad I listened. These guys care about you and your truck. These guys know their diesel and to get the most bang for your buck. Will not take my truck any other place! These guys are hands down the best!

Wow-so impressed with Zach and this business! We headed to Illinois from Colorado and had big problems with our truck just before KC. Called on a Friday morning, desperate for someone to get us in ASAP. ZKB was so willing to help us and told us to come on over. He started looking at our truck right away and did everything he could to get us on our way. Very professional, honest, and exactly what we needed. An answer to our prayers that day. These guys are good! They are honest and do good work. I had an issue with my 6.4 powerstroke, truck went into limp mode, I expected the worst. They got me in and out with in the week. Brought my truck in with an idea of what was wrong. I was shocked when I got a phone call telling me repairs were going to be triple of what I expected. Needless to say I began to do more research and picked up the vehicle. When I asked about how they diagnosed such an expensive repair the answer was, "we just do enough of these to know" . Luckily after a day of research I found the part I expected was faulty was actually under manufacturer extended warranty. I took my truck to the dealership and the completed a small repair and diagnostic and the truck is good to go. I definitely believe I was being up sold here and won't be back. I was treated well otherwise but I don't think they were looking out for the customer on this one. Update 5/22/25 - when my vehicle was in this shop several months earlier I was advised that my front brakes were at 30 percent and they recommended changing pads to avoid the potential for rotor damage. Today I pulled both wheels to do the repair myself and discovered all pads still had 75 percent left compared to the new pads I purchased. Terrible 👎👎

I have done a bit of business with ZKB and they consistently offer excellent customer service and vehicle repair. Zac and the rest of the guys had to do a turbo rebuild, injector harness, and valve cover gaskets on my truck. Dropped off and the work was finished very quick. Shortly after, the injector harness failed and it turned out to be a faulty harness that just needed some time to show it was bad and they warrantied the part and got a new one in ASAP. I will definitely continue to use ZKB for any diesel work I need in the future.

Not happy whatsoever. Had a big single turbo installed and it wasn’t right from the beginning. The tune was never installed even though it was paid for. They were going to come and install it over a 6 month period and it was never installed. Will not go back.
