I needed an inspection and Mike made time to provide the service quickly and wouldn't accept a modest tip for his time. An honest mechanic. A rare breed...thankyou Eastwell Automotive

I miss the old owner and staff. It looked like they got rid of all the old staff too, which is sad. Make sure you look at the reviews, a lot of the high stat reviews are for the old owners. Not sure how they were able to keep the Google reviews for a sale of the business, I guess they bought them. Anyway I am not a fan. I guess if this is your only option it will be fine.

We scrapped two cars with them because they weren't worth the cost to fix them. Now a few months later I got a bill in the mail from ny tolls. Our license plate was put on a different car and they are racking up bills in our name. Do not trust them.

Mike and Tony retired 1 year ago. They were perfect. They owned this shop for 45 years. Any comments after March 2022 is about a different management. The boss is called Damon. He is just so so.

Truly stellar staff. They know how to diagnosis your car’s root problem, execute on fixing that problem, and communicate with the absolute best service possible. Incredible experience and value. Would come back here over anywhere else if something else goes wrong (hopefully not) with my car.

Great Mechanics! Very honest and do great work. Reasonably priced and have never tried to talk me into work I didn’t need. So good that when my relatives that live 150+ miles away come to visit they drop there cars off here to have work done.

Been ripped off before as soon as I went in Tony got straight to business and actually walked me thru what he had to do and where the new parts had to go. Reasonable prices but reasonable is cheap for honest reliable work. And the best part about it is he actually talked me OUT of getting extra work done so I could save money. That’s why I will trust this shop with ALL my future cars. Only downside is I needed a new fuel pump and it seems they don’t do any work pertaining to gasoline only reason I gave 4/5 stars Safety reasons I guess.

I Was a bit skeptical about trying a new mechanic. My loyal mechanic has since retired .LEAVIING me with a Chevy service center for service .. (Curry of Scarsdale is a joke)in need of work on front struts for my 17 Tahoe premier which were not covered under warranty. Calling several shops and after many wasted trips to the stearlership check Google looked up and Eastwell Automotive to inquire on prices for labor, he (Mike the owner) took my cell down and with in 10 minutes called me back with his man Hr rate to remove and replace front struts. I purchased OEM expensive mag struts myself and called Eastwell again to schedule a date. He was able to see me a few days from the first call to do the work. Mike the owner in my opinion is a true professional.. straight to the point. Very good rate ( better than most competitors). Best part was job was completed in reasonable time w/o BS. Price was same as he quoted not a penny more. IM truly a happy camper and will have any of my auto needs serviced by Eastwood automotive. Thanks again Mike great work God Bless !!!

I have known these guys 30 years - They are the best !!!!! always honest and very professional . I would never dream of taking any of my cars to someone else. Update.. I’ m sad to say the owners of Eastwell have retired.., I miss having such reliable and honest mechanics to service my car. I don’t know much about the person who has taken over this business however in my opinion the original East Well Will never be duplicated.

My experience with Eastwell Automotive has always a been positive one every time I bring my Geo in for work. Mike and his staff know their craft very well and do superb work along with fair prices plus I am never told to do work that has not been needed, Mike is an honest, polite and easygoing guy. I used to go to Budget Muffler but that place was sold and is extremely unprofessional in addition to being a rip off so I suggest you stay away from there. If you’re looking for an honest mechanic which is hard to find I strongly recommend Eastwell, you won’t be disappointed and they are an asset to the community which is an understatement. My new mechanic for life!

Even though Tony has retired, The New Owner Darren has maintained The Spirit & Integrity of Eastwell. Had my car inspected & oil changed by Trini. I also got to look UNDER my car to see the work of another mechanic. Everything is done Transparently...no secrets in this place. Will continue to come back even though I moved from The Bronx!

The old owners, Mike and Tony retired and Damon has taken over. Let me state that I have met Damon and the mechanics on several occasions and they are as good as gold! The mechanics are “top notch” and never are you told to do work that doesn’t need to be done. In a nutshell it’s like Eastwell never closed, they’re just as good. Damon is a down to earth guy and easy to work with. I’ve had my car serviced several times and I’m very happy with them. I wouldn’t think of taking my car anywhere else for work, just here because I trust them and the work they do. By all means go there. They’re honest, understanding to your needs and do excellent work. I highly recommend them. PS It’s now 21st Century Automotive at the same exact location.

I wont trust this guy, carry the van for a noise when you press on the brakes. I know what the brake felt like before and have common sense to know if a brake is working good... the brake was good, only had a noise complaint when braking. I call this guy to find out if he was finished with the van for pick up, he told me yeaaa....finished worked on the brake and inspection, just have to work on the tire. When i picked up the van, the brake had a big gap before braking or slowing down, i saw it right away....he told my office...that he never worked on the brake, only the inspection and the tire....i took the van to another mechanic, my mechanic, and he said the spring was missing, they replaced the brakes, and the brake reverted to the way it was, but the noise was still there, proving that i never had a brake issue to begin with prior going to this mechanic, and someone had to remove the hub to get access to the spring. I had a political sign in the van, seem like it was done on purpose...but saying he never touched the brake, yet it magically got worst than when i went in....like i was born yesterday, and do not know how brakes works in a vehicle. Same day i picked up the van, a tank fell on my right side foot, as a sign.....do not drive this van. Furthermore, you passed an inspection with my brake having a big gap before braking???? Which wasnt there beforel!!! Always get a second opinion and trust your instinct...

Damon is the best! After several mechanics couldn’t fix my convertible, he figured it out and repaired it at a very reasonable cost. Couldn’t be happier - highly recommend!

Had a clutch replaced in a 2014 Jeep Patriot. Price was fair and was fixed within 2 days. Damon is a friendly guy and knows what he's doing.
