I decided to give this place a shot based on the reference from a colleague. Unfortunately, it was not a great experience and I will not refer them to anyone further. Originally, they told me that they would order the parts from my vehicles manufacturer and have my vehicle back to me in a day or two. Fast forward a WEEK, multiple conflicting excuses later and I'm told that they were only able to get 1 of the 2 they wanted (not needed, just wanted) but were able to get the job done with just one, but proceeded to charge me for parts that were not needed, used, ordered or ever received by them. Including a $50 expedite fee for a part that they never even ordered. When I spoke up, the owner of the business became verbally aggressive; raising his voice at me and using provocative language. He then states that if the vehicle leaks because they didn't obtain the parts and fix it right, I would then have to bring the vehicle back and pay them a subsequent fee for them to do what they were supposed to do the first time around. Save yourself some aggravation and frustration and take your vehicle somewhere else.

If I could give 10 stars I would! These guys are the best! Helpful, friendly, & actually want to help! They’re very honest & reasonably priced. I have taken 2 cars to them and they never disappoint & they fix the issue fast! I definitely recommend them!

It’s hard to find a reliable mechanic nowadays. We had such moved to the area when my truck needed some repairs. I found this place based off the Google reviews and they didn’t disappoint! They were friendly, quick and I felt the prices were pretty fair. I highly recommend if you need a mechanic! Would go there again 100%.

Great service! I called and Jr fit my car right in. The shop was fairly busy when I arrived, late afternoon as a walk in, so when I received a phone call just 2 hours later letting me know what work needed done and a complete breakdown of the costs I was impressed. Picked up my car and it runs great now and the prices were affordable too! Jr and his crew will be the only place I trust my car to get repairs! I would definitely recommend!

I took my car in to have the water pump and timing belt changed . They did a great job and did not try to up sale me on anything. They are the most honest mechanic I meant I asked them if my car and needed anything else to make it run better and they told me know your car is fine if anything does go wrong just come back. That's how I know this is a good place most mechanics lie and try to upsell you on everything these people do not do that they just want to help you get your car running as good as it should be I appreciate them and what they do and I'll keep going back me and my whole family we go there and have for years thank you guys.

Transported my dad's car from Arizona to California after it sat in Arizona for over a year. Was told it did not pass because the car wasn't ready to test after a battery change (needed because it sat for a year). No paper work was given or signed before the test but after I paid for the test a note at the top said that retesting for something not ready would result in paying half price for the next test. I feel that the large sign out front that says Pass or retest for free is false advertising. No mention or literature about the terms were given before agreeing to test the car or any questions about if a battery had been changed on the car. Will not use this place again for smog or any other service. Which is too bad because I was looking for a new auto repair shop since my previous auto shop was sold. Lost a potential customer for life.

This place is a staple in the community for a reason. Very good customer service here and the guys mechanics are able to work on just about any car for most situations. Their prices are competitive and almost always beat places like Pep-Boys and A&R Tire & Brakes just down the street. I definitely recommend this garage and I have been to A LOT of automotive repair shops in the Inland Empire. 10 out of 10.

I was referred by a good friend to A1 auto. This is my third time using them and every time when I think they can’t top the experience that I had previously it gets better each time. I have found them to be very fair and focused on finding a solution. These days we just need people to be good at what they do and follow through with what they say. Whenever I go to the shop, there are always a lot of people waiting to get their car serviced I think the word is out the A1 is the place to go. My experience each time has been five stars.
