Charge you for work that's not needed and afterwards charging you more for the correct work and repair and then the owner says the reason is that he dosent want to loose money, took vehicle back 5 times for same reason only to find out he installed the wrong part and then blamed the previous repair shop that referred me to his shop, very sad experience with Brian and his A 1 Auto Center.

Need to check more carefully the cars ....you need to drive with the mechanic and let them know we're is the issue on the car ....if you don't do that they just told you everything it's fine....and they still charged you

Called and asked for pricing for a ECU repair. They tried to charge me for an ECU reprogram on the original ECU🤨. Avoid this place, they are charging for unnecessary work and dishonesty. Other reviews have said the same on unnecessary charges.

Horrible experience dropped my Tacoma off at 8 am with an appointment the office was not comfortable at all an the service was horrible. I heard the mechanic talking about me behind my back all I wanted to do was reprogram my transmission which only takes roughly 45 minutes to an hour on the computer an 1 pm came along an nothing was done still an they were not even busy.. So I went an picked my truck up an took it too transmission city where I would recommend anybody too go there before here. DONT GO HERE

Talked me in here I was going to go somewhere else they say they do it the same and better transmission. but I got 1/5 the warranty. took too long 5 weeks and the price was not far off the first shop I was going to go to. I have been back with several problems since and they still dont have it right. not very professionall

Well, we tried to use this business. We took our car in on a Tuesday and picked it up the following Monday because no one had ever even taken a look to diagnose it yet. It just sat there for four days untouched. Going to take her business somewhere that can actually work on our car.

I took my Infiniti M37S in with one active warning light and another that was causing a failed smog test but was intermittent and off at the time. Lisa saved me a diagnostic fee by suggesting that I return when the light comes back on or the code cleared and smog passed. I returned with both warning lights on. The repair fees were fair and they were professional, prompt with the repair, and completed a successful smog test.

The first time I went to Brian was in 1993 to have a steering column repaired. I liked the work he did and a short time later I had a motor rebuilt at his shop. The rest is history. He's the only shop I've taken my cars to for the past 27 years. Definitely earned my loyalty.

I had gone to this place thinking my ignition switch needed to be replaced and needed a new key to be programmed, didn't have anything else wrong with it now I have some Jimmy rigid wires under my steering column coming from the back of my radio, the back of my car doesn't work I have no tail lights working when my head lights are on (i replaced the light bulbs still samething), theres no door chime or shut of when I open the door battery drains cause everything turns off after 10 mins. Normally once the car is off and the driver door opens everything turns off not anymore. And now I have a fuel gauge that doesn't work and a check engine light on. Spent $650 and now have more issues then I had before and now have to spend more money that I don't have to fix what they messed up. Wish someone would close this place down for rip off they do to people

Ok let me start off with BEWARE!!! Customers, I took in my car to have my engine replace which cost me $2400 because my old engine had a bad cylinder in it. That was the only problem with my car after 3-4 days of waiting. my engine was finally install by them. Drove my car home from the shop, had the radio on so I didn't notice any noise next morning. I took my car to work and notice a sound coming from my wheels, turn out to be bad bearing. which I took the car back to there shop, and talk to the shop owner Brian he told me that it wasn't there fault. "that all of a sudden my bearing has fail" mind you I've been driving around with my bad engine for about 2month before taking my car into there shop. So anyway I paid another shop $240 to replace my bearings the next day! Total of 3 day from the eingin install my check engine light came on. I had it check out! found out I have a crack injector base which cost me another $300 to replace my car only has 100000k miles on it and all this happen after going to this shop.

Omg, Every time I taken my car. A new problem occurs less than 2 weeks. 3 problems in less then 2 months, this looks like a pattern from what I read on there reviews. Cause I seen this problem to many time's.

I went here to get a new key a month ago and I've been getting the run around ever since they made a copy of my key but "never programed it" I had to drive up to fresno 4 times just to be told after waiting 2 hours that they need to repurchase the license never the less they have had the software for about 2 and a half weeks and I still haven't gotten a call about my key I'm pretty sure they made a copy that works and are trying to find and steal my car. Otherwise they wouldn't be holding onto my cut key and giving me the run around

Took my 2010 Chevy Malibu in because it would shut off from time to time and the check engine light came on. They did a diagnostic on it and determined that it needed a new ECU. Had the new ECU installed and picked up the car a week later. I then drove it for a day and noticed the same symptoms, so I returned the car and was told that they would run another diagnostic, but thought the problem was the fuse box. My car has been sitting in their lot now for over a month. After repeated calls, they now say they are waiting for the arrival of the part. I have ordered car parts from Amazon in the past and received them in less than a week. I am beyond frustrated at this point. There is no sense of urgency and their lack of ability to fix my car makes me wonder if they are even capable or masquerading as a auto repair shop. What happened to the true professionals?

First off my apologies when arriving to pick up my car then leaving the shop my car was not fixed, ugh we can't trust anyone even mechanic shops Owner Brian said he has been in business 40 yrs yet he knew nothing about what I told him what was wrong with my car. He would not admit to anything but bypass what I said and told me to take my car back in for a diagnostic test and if it was their fault he would fix he gives his customers 1yr warranty. But because he said he knew nothing about what I was saying I didn't think I should take my car bk in. He also before giving bk car he has to drive cars a certain amount of miles to report it well that was like ok then once again you didn't notice that u had to press the start button three times to start yet u said my car was ready hmm 🤔 something isn't right and my car don't start again also says needs transmission serviced before starting which that was the reason I also took in my car to replace TCM and software update. So if this problem isn't fixed correctly by owner himself no charge would be appreciated and then customers will know he corrects his wrong doing. This place is awesome and understanding he fixed my car great job. would reccommend them.

No one was avaible at the front counter to help. I waved at one of the employees at the garage to help. He brushed me off and I ended up waiting 20 min with no one to assist me. Poor customer service. Never coming here again!

Brian fixed the ECM on my 2012 Jeep grand Cherokee Overland. Battery light came on, so I changed the alternator and put a new battery in and the battery light was still coming on so I went to A1 auto as recommended by Many, Brian Diagnosed and was able to find out that the ECM was bad as is a common problem on these jeeps because the voltage regulator is built into the computer. The ECM had to be rebuilt or replaced. Brian repaired and saved me at least half of what it would have cost through the dealer. It was done in a very fast, timely manner, still running strong 1k miles later. they helped me and I would recommend and go back again.

I read the reviews before going too take my car too get service I trusted my faith in charlies auto shop who sent me their by the end of the morn BRIAN called gave me a quick estimate I said (si ) told me it would be ready the next day !
