I would never recommend this place for any transmission job. They told me nothing was wrong with my transmission only to take you to another transmission shop and found out it was the overdrive. That went bad

Alex is a very rude and disrespectful person! He’s not there to help people he’s only there to take your money. He doesn’t value he’s customer nor make them feel comfortable. I do not recommend this place. You are better off going to the dealership.

Everybody go to Alex! Not only did he have the lowest price for a transmission rebuild for my Ford Ranger out of the 6 shops I called, but he went above and beyond inspecting the truck and taking care of it like it was his own. Very pleased and will be doing more business with A-1 Transmission Antioch as well as referring friends and family to this shop.

Took my truck to A1 trans. Have my transmission rebuilt. As soon as I got my truck drove it there was a problem already. Down shift rough. Brought it back, got it after a week. Still getting the same problem. I will bring the truck back for the third time. They have good reviews, what’s going on? I don’t want to give bad reviews but third time not acceptable.

Before I had them replace my clutch i told Alex about my second gear issue and to look into it while the transmission was removed. Clutch was replaced flywheel was resurfaced and still had second gear issues. Long story short he didn’t charge me removal and installation of the transmission the second time I brought it back to have the transmission basically rebuilt.
