The work is a joke, don't dare get an engine replaced. Check engine light came on 3 days later. Bought a new water pump and they didn't even put it on the replacement engine and they changed the price after they were finished by several hundred dollars. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!

Warning ⛔️ these fraudsters☠️ on people. Water got in the transmission oil in my car. I went to this Vietnamese guy and told him the water got into the transmission, and he said I'm going to clean the inside of the transmission and change the transmission oil for you four times and everything will be fine, and he took $ 400, and when I got home. I checked the transmission oil and found that the water was still inside, and when I called the owner of the place he said there is no guarantee and I have nothing to do for you

In 2010 I got work done radiator flush, bushing/axle/trans seal on right side. They gave me a better quote than any one else . They had lots of cars on the lot .but treated me with respect and a hand shake , not just next customer. I now have a different mini van and transmission fluid all over the drive way guess where I am going :)

I'm pretty late to the game here, but my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee was having issues with the transmission. I was referred to them by Master Auto for a rebuild as I just wasn't in a position to buy another vehicle or a new transmission. I tell you what - that was like 4 or 5 years ago and the work is still holding up! Best investment ever to extend the life of our vehicle while we save for a newer one! They were quick, price was great, and I couldn't have been more satisfied!

I used to use this service all of the time, and back then I would have said I could recommend them as a fast and effective, but i would have to say now I'm not so sure. I was adamant about telling someone close to me that this was a great place to go to, but her overall experience was negative. The man who took the car in was very rude, and the problem was NOT fixed. I have regrets sharing this as a reliable shop for auto repair.

A&A Transmission was a life saver. I had an oil leak and needed to get my car towed from work. My dad recommended we go to A&A because it is his go to place and now I know why. They took me in the next day, diagnosed the issue behind the leak, ordered the part and fixed it, and also did an oil change at the same time. I was up and running the next business day. I highly recommend this place.

During the last week of June, my vehicle suffered a transmission failure outside of Farmington,MO. I had it towed back to South St. Louis and looked for good mechanics. My wife found this place, and they offered $85 diagnostic that would be waived if the repairs happened there. We had checked the vehicle up and down and believed we found a front seal failure. We were quoted “$350” for the repair. The shop towed the vehicle from our house and did the diagnostic. We then received a quote of “$700.” We said “Okay.” We then heard that we needed a transmission pump, and we’re quoted “$1300.” We said, “okay.” Then my wife heard that so many things were burned in the transmission, it needed to be rebuilt. The shop wanted to have a witness to confirm the transmission damage. They told my wife $3500 for a rebuild. I went and saw something. I was skeptical. I’m rather handy, but I’m not a mechanic. Then the “owner” told me it would take +$4000 for a rebuild! I couldn’t believe what he was saying; however, I needed two vehicles to survive. My wife found a place that had a deal, but it didn’t work for our transmission. However, they would provide a better warranty on a remanufactured transmission (2 years). So, Mr. Shifts Transmission Shop, towed it (for free), outside of their usual range, and installed the pricey transmission. A&A charged me $600 to replace the transmission they removed, without any repairs. This place is a POS! Don’t spend any money there! I travel on my vehicle to provide educational entertainment for children. This place is awful! Stay away! P.S. Remanufactured 2015 Chrysler T&C transmissions = $3300 with labor. Flat fee!

I have been using A&A on multiple cars since they first opened. I always get multiple bids for projects that are over a few hundred dollars and they consistently offer reasonable bids. They’ll find used parts when possible and they do complicated repairs that no one, but the expensive dealer will touch. Recommend!

Went in to have front brake rotors replaced on my KIA K5. I was told only new parts would be used for repair. When I picked up the car, I paid $750 for parts and labor, which is what I was quoted. I later learned that they simply resurfaced the rotors and never replaced them. Additionally the car stank like cigarettes and had grease on the drivers seat. Would not recommend this shop.
