TireChoice (Hampton Rd., St Louis) is a shop run by true American heroes. Let me explain. My family was visiting from out of state when we got a flat tire and had to quickly stop and get our spare on. Searching for a shop in the area still open and willing to take a look without an appointment led us to TireChoice on Hampton Rd where we were warmly welcomed by the crew who got to work right away on our vehicle. 25 minutes later, we were on our way, without any upselling, overcharging, or pricey add-ons. They repaired the tire and got it back on the car for less than $50 and they were very hospitable to my family of five boys. I truly couldn’t imagine a better experience at a repair shop. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Caught a flat late in the evening and had to return to the hospital shortly for my son’s stay. Needless to say I was stressed out already. Called about 7 shops in the area and none could get me in on the same day. Managed to inflate my tires enough to drive to Target for a portable pump and saw the shop on the way. Decided to give them a chance and let them know my situation. The woman at the front was extremely helpful, professional, and most importantly kind. The mechanic (who I think may be the owner) assured me he’d get me out of there in an hour and a half. I was out in LESS than an hour, paid less than $50, and managed to make it back quickly to my son. This shop deserves more than 5 stars for their service. Highly recommend them to anyone.

Was charged $50 to remove a nail and plug a hole. When I got home I went to put the tire back on my truck and it was flat. There was a second hole large enough to hear air leaking, meaning that the crew gave absolutely zero effort into assuring the tire was good to go before giving it back. Will never come back here.

Waited until my vehicle was being worked on to tell me it was 3K for an oil pan. Got a second opinion and the work that was needed was exceedingly cheaper than what they proposed. Not efficient and everything seemed shady with the payment. Would not recommend for service.

Customer service sucks called up and ordered a tire at 7 AM. They told me it would be arriving between nine and 11am tire didn’t show up til 345pm was finished at 4:30 didn’t know it took over 9 hours to get one tire changed

While the prices are reasonable. There were posters and signs with oil change discounts for my specific need that no one seemed to know when the promotion started or stopped. Why all the signs if the discounts can not be applied. Seems like a bait and switch

Follow-up to a phone call to TireChoice customer service: the rep asked me to show documentation that their shop did not balance my tires. I did it and they called me back and started to process a refund of the tire balancing work. I was ready to recommend this local shop for their solid work in the past five years but now I hesitate! Two months ago, I had two new front tires balanced and installed by them. The wheels installed were shaky and steering was unstable despite new alignment. Recently I found I found the balancing was extremely poorly done. Look at the photo uploaded. Their tech did NOT remove the old weights at all before balancing. Instead, they added new weights on the old weights on the wheels! The location to stack weights was also wrong. The imbalance reads were 1.5oz and 2.25 oz, which was way greater than common. What they did was super unprofessional and unsafe. If you do business with them, make sure you look at what they do before they put things back to your car.

Update: this store is now closed on Sundays. That is my only complaint as I had a car towed in early Sunday morning to get worked on. And even their website allows you to make an appointment on a Sunday. Despite the fact that they are only open Monday through Saturday . However, several months earlier I was able to get a replacement tire at a very reasonable cost on a Sunday. The work was done very quickly and professionally.

Absolutely terrible, i’m sorry i went there. Titee, the front desk person was so rude after i bought my 4 tires and picked up my vehicle. I went there for tires with an alignment, not everyone does them. I DONT think it was done. Titee seems to be lying when i asked for my printout of my alignment. She said the proof was on my bill, that i was billed for it. An insult to my intelligence and i will never go back and will tell everyone i know.

They called me not too long after I dropped my car off for tire installation to inform me one of my rims was bent and would not be able to do anything until fixed. This was my first and will be my last time ever going to Tire Choice Auto Service Center . I called the store to check if they had any available time today to replace 2 tires on my car. The lady was pleasant and confirmed the had both tires and time to accommodate me. I rushed there after work driving on a donut. I arrived there 65 minutes before closing and was told by the mechanic that he was “too tired” to work. I responded asking if he could just install tires on my rims and I’ll put them back on my car. He then responded very rudely with “What part of I’m tired, don’t you understand!”. This place is completely unprofessional and I strongly suggest to STAY AWAY!

BEWARE. These aren’t knowledgeable mechanics. They aren’t friendly no matter if you show up with drinks in hand for their coolers, they’ll actually decide to do shotty work because of kind gestures like some sort of hobbit creatures. ——They deliberately placed parts inside of my wheel bearings — just imagine the loud ringing of a church bell stuck in your wheel. HR hasn’t returned or answered my calls or voicemails for over 6 months. You’re disgusting folks and you know it. Great price to get parts misplaced inside of my tires and ignore all responsibility… says a lot when this is acceptable behavior at a company all around, I will be warning everyone I meet about Telle Tire.

Though I appreciate them getting the job done and fixing my tire, I didn’t appreciate the reaction I got when I told them I had an appointment scheduled, it was a sound of “ughhh” and throwing his head back, then he proceeded to complain as he was gathering my info of how they aren’t told when an appointment is booked and how the appointments don’t account for the walk ins they get through out the day which makes them even busier, which genuinely isn’t my problem and I do not appreciate feeling like an inconvenience to them when I’m spending my money at a business. I almost told him not to worry about it and I could just take my business elsewhere but I didn’t have it in my day or week to push this back further but I know for next time not to use this location or company if my tire needs to be looked at.

I had a horrible experience. I needed a headlight fixed and I was charged $800 for a new controller. The light worked for one week and then went out again. When I went back Charlie was extremely rude. He had called me to come back in and when I showed up less than 30 min later the shop was open but no one was there to help me. I waited around for over 10 min and then saw him walking back over with food from a gas station. When I confronted him about leaving the shop unattended he yelled at me and even took a step toward me. I felt threatened and unsafe. I brought my car to another much more reputable shop and they told me the new controller had been damaged with wires cut and I needed to buy another new controller. It took me months of calling Monro and filling an insurance claim to finally get a full refund from them. Corporate was very difficult to work with and hard to get a hold of.
