I was in town and had to get back on the highway and no shop had the tires I needed for my car but this shop did. I called and drove to about 5 different places with my spare and another shop referred me here. You know it's a good service when a competitor reccomends. The prices for the tires were amazing and the tires were in really good shape, they almost looked new. This is the best place in Erie for used tires for sure and also in a nice location.

Nice guys. Very friendly. Honest appraisal and assessment. Decent prices. I only gave four stars because I didn't see a waiting area with a chair or anything. It is a typical autoshop garage. Nothing fancy. The owner and mechanic are really, really nice people. I would return to this place again and I will refer people to them.

They are a RIP off sold us a car that he guaranteed to pass inspection.and now cant get it inspected. When we bought it he guaranteed he would inspect it for us and now he lied to us.so as far as I am concerned he dont get stars. He shouldn't be in business.

A & B Auto is unfriendly and unprofessional. They may or may not be good mechanics, but I will never know as they dismissed me not once, but twice for an estimate. I was shopping around for a new mechanic/garage for our well maintained 2014 Toyota Rav 4. I showed up at A & B Auto on a weekday just before 4 PM (Google has them open until 5 PM daily). I waited in the entryway and rang the bell. After several minutes, the mechanic emerged. I was looking for a ballpark quote on some basic inspection items (front brake pads and rotor replacement, driver’s side and passenger side trailing arm replacement, and a license plate bulb replacement). He said it was 4 o’clock, that he was going home, and that I should come back tomorrow. Okay…I get it. Maybe Google wasn’t up to date on the time. I came back the next day, rang the bell, and another guy came to the entry way and asked if he could help me. I tell him I was there yesterday, and I needed an estimate on these specific repairs…he yells back to the mechanic that I was there and asked if he wanted to speak with me. “No, I don’t have time. Have him leave the car.” I get it, he may need to look at the car to determine the conditions, but he wouldn’t even come out to talk with me. I was looking for a ballpark figure, standard pricing for standard work, not an airtight quote. This guy wasn’t interested in new customers, he clearly has enough work, and he made it clear that his time is more valuable than anyone else’s. He gave this customer away for life.
