I have been going to A&D for a couple of months now. A few days ago, I had to get my car towed there because it would not start. From the second I called them to let them know it was being dropped off, they were friendly, compassionate, and assuring that I would be back on the road soon. The amount of communication I received from them throughout the process updating me on the test results etc, was amazing. I was informed about everything; they gained mine and my Dad’s consent before performing any work. Shout out to David for squeezing my car in and getting it done in less than 24 hours of being dropped off!!! They even came and picked me up from UT campus and brought me back to the shop so that I didn’t have to Uber. This is the place to go if you want exceptional service!!!

I brought my car to A&D after I saw many recommendations on the UTampa parents page. They could not be nicer and more honest - they had originally told me that she needed brake pads, rotors, and a caliper and then tried to get me a better price on the caliper. Then, after doing the brakes called me back and said the pin on the calipers is fine and there’s no need for me to have a new caliper put in and add the expense. They were so honest I was so appreciative. Highly recommend.

On a Sunday the cooling fan in my Trax decided it was going to no longer turn off which led to a dead battery (twice) and days of me popping the hood to unplug the fan when parked to prevent another stranded situation. I went to A & D for a second opinion after replacing the battery didn’t solve the problem and another shop quoted me a hefty price to replace the fan. In less than fifteen minutes David figured out what was wrong with my car and switched out the faulty fuse. So grateful for him. Awesome, knowledgeable staff. If your car has an issue, this is the place to go! Thanks David.

I’ve taken my car to A&D a few times now, and every experience has been excellent. They’re honest and never try to sell you things you don’t need, they genuinely care about your money. Recently, I brought my car in for an electrical issue, and when they couldn’t find anything wrong, they didn’t charge me at all. The staff is friendly, professional, and truly cares about their customers. Great people and service. They’re also fast and efficient, I’d definitely recommend them.

For reference I am one of those people worried an auto shop will try to screw me. Long story short, I was in a situation where any other auto shop could have lied and charged me for labor and parts but in my case, the broz were like “hey, honestly my guy was in your car for less than 5 minutes, needed no parts he just plugged something in that was loose, so you’re good, no charge.” I tried to buy the counter guy Subway but he politely refused but said google reviews are ok. I’m sending all my peoples to this place, money is tight right now so much appreciated broz 🤝 faith in humanity restored

My car broke down 2 days before Christmas, and I had my car towed to A&D based off of good reviews from friends. I had low hopes of my car getting looked at until after the holiday, but they were able to squeeze my car in and get me some answers before they were closing for the holiday. They answered all of my questions with patience and understanding. I felt like they were only ever truthful with me, and it did not feel like they were just trying to have me put more unnecessary money into fixing my vehicle. I would highly recommend A&D to anyone and will personally use them in the future if needed. David, specifically, was very helpful in this process as he provided excellent customer service.

As the parent of a student at the University of Tampa, who is over 1000 miles away from her kid, this place came highly recommended by other UT parents, and now I know why! The Saga of the Rattle 8-9 months ago the rattle begin intermittently causing audible distress. 2 separation inspections at outside mechanics, a few hundred later each time replacing something under the hood but I kept saying I don’t think it’s under the hood. I ended up at A&D after the dealership wanted thousands just to inspect it. David was our Mr. Fixit, the guy who didn’t give up nor charge me thousands! His comprehensive inspection, recurring road testing, and previous experience led to a proper diagnosis of a faulty electric power steering component. The rattle did exist, was indeed inside the cab of vehicle, visibly broken and after David’s magic touch it is once again a quiet ride! I drove home in silence full of gratitude for a local business who from start to finish provided excellent service, communication and even a little moral support validating the interior cab rattle. I wouldn’t want Tony or Andrew to be sad I didn’t shout them out too but David definitely did the magic in this FL heat! Thank you for the fairly priced repair and speedy turnaround time A&D.

I have a convertible, and when trying to fix my headliner the top got stuck halfway in the air. I took it to the shop and crossed paths with Tony. He took a quick look at my car (me thinking it was going to cost hundreds to fix) and knew what to do right away. With the most simple adjustment the sensors worked and my car was fixed!! Tony was so kind as to point me in the direction to fix my headliner as well. The team here is very caring helpful and knowledgeable! I would recommend to any of my friends!

Sebastian, Andrew, and Gary were quick and attentive with helping me out. I called in advance while they were busy to see if there’s availability for an engine/cabin air filter replacement. I was advised a 1hr wait due to the customers ahead of me. I got there and within 15 minutes they were able to attend to matters regardless of how busy they were and get me in and out quickly. Without that many questions, Andrew walked out to my car and started working on it immediately. I usually don’t go to independently owned shops for Auto Service from previous experience. But this one exceeded my expectations. Will definitely be back!
