I took my truck in to have my oil changed and air conditioner serviced and asked them to look around for anything that needed to be fixed. They did the oil change and air condition service and said everything else looked good. When I left, my neighbor noticed my rear light was out. They didnt notice it either. So much for checking to make sure my vehicle was fully operational. This was the first time going to this shop. Its so hard to find a good mechanic nowadays.

Dave was very knowledgeable and helpful about my particular maintenance issue. They made realistic recommendations and were able to help get me back on the road. These guys were very honest and were able to explain the reason for the work they quoted. I will use these guys for everything in the future, and would recommend them to anyone.

Those guys are angels ! Took me a while to find an honest mechanic in San Diego until I found Dave and Erick ! They fixed a problem no other mechanic could fix in my volvo and I just changed oil with them ! If you're looking for an honest mechanic who will truly care about your car and not rip you off go to those guys ! May Allah bless them !

These guys are incredibly honest, trustworthy, and kind. They won't upsell you and will even tell you if you don't need something. They just genuinely want to help you with your car needs. Prices are very reasonable. For all of these reasons, my husband and I have both brought our cars here for several years and will continue to do so. Car issues aren't really stressful because I know I can rely on these guys here. 10/10

Dave and his team are a breath of fresh air: honest, patient, trustworthy, reliable, competitive prices, very experienced and expert mechanics. (everything you can wish for they are A++ all the way in communication, service and quality of work) My wife and I were so tired of getting the run around from the local car dealer so we gave A and D Autowerks a try.(we were at the point where we were going to just trade in a young car!) This is customer service that you will rarely find. Our car now drives as good as new, like it should. Their motto is to treat customers like family and they really do- every step of the way. You don't feel like a number and his team is all clued up on every car in the shop. I spoke directly with Arne through the entire process. Arne personally returned every call within minutes (usually he answered the phone!) and explained everything to me. What a pleasure to do business with. A++ all the way. Absolutely amazing experience. Update: My wife's Volvo windshield was leaking and ended up needing to remove, dry and replace the carpet. The local Volvo dealer quoted us $900 for 6.5 hrs of work. Went back to Arne and Dave, they took care of it for $300 with a smile and great follow up. Said took them just over 3 hours! Never had to once check in with them. They were always on top of it. These guys are the go to place for any Volvo auto service and repair. I didn't think they would be interested or would want to handle this but they handle everything and do it well and with excellent customer service-don't go anywhere else.

We've been here multiple times and every experience has been amazing. The techs are extremely knowledgeable and careful with our vehicle. A&D also repaired our vehicle for much less than a certain other shop and caught things multiple things the other shop completely missed. Very very highly recommended!

The best shop if you have a Volvo. The stealership wanted $800 for 40k service which is criminal. The guys at A&D took care of me for half of the cost and they were able to get it done in 2 hrs. They would call you if they found issues or need to work on something previously not discussed when you drop the car off. They called me to make sure I’m okay with changing the brake fluid cause it looks good and probably don’t need replacing for another 10k. They told me the cost and I said screw it just change it it’s not a huge deal. They obviously care about their customers and are super honest people. 10/10 would recommend.

Impressive! I had called to get my brakes looked at and repaired (needed new rotors and pads). They initially gave me an appointment that was two weeks out and then asked if it was just the brakes that needed repair. Once I confirmed that it was they asked if I could leave with them all day tomorrow. Sold! Brought it in the morning and had it back before the end of the day. Very professional and communicative. A&D will 100٪ be my go to for auto repairs and would absolutely recommend them to anyone. If you guys are reading this, thank you again for getting my wife's car sorted out and safe!

I have an 08 Jetta, and they diagnosed my AC issues and ended up replacing my compressor and drive belt all in the same day. They were friendly and willing to explain everything, in detail, to me.
