These guys went above and beyond. They could write a masterclass in customer service. Due to the supply chain crunch many of my parts weren't readily available and had lead times, and this put me over my rental term through insurance. These absolute legends continued paying my rental for the next two weeks AND touched up some areas not even involved in my claim. I couldn't be happier with them turning a negative situation into a positive one. If your car gets banged up just take it here. You are wasting your time searching any more.

Steve did a great job of helping us through the repair process after the traumatic experience of being rear ended on the Interstate while driving from Massachusetts to San Diego. Other than a glitch at the end where there was some confusion about what type of payment was accepted, it was a very good experience. I had paint scratches on my car and got quotes from two other auto body shops for over $1k each. I came here last and they were able to remove the paint for FREE. They were extremely helpful and honest. I can't recommend them enough. I will be referring all my friends there because of their honest approach to customer service. I am a very satisfied "customer". The true superstar at Balboa Auto Body is Steve. My car was totalled in an accident, and I had to deal with two different insurance companies to handle damage to my back and front. Stressed is an understatement. But as soon as I came through the door, Steve helped me out and took care of everything from beginning to end. He gave me tips along the way that saved me money, and went the extra mile to make sure I was getting what I was due. He's incredibly knowledgeable, and has definitely earned my loyalty. I had a window replaced after a string of break ins at my apartment complex and I'm just floored by the service here. Everyone was super nice, my quote took no time at all, there was no issue when I decided to cancel my insurance claim, and they charged me WAY less than I what was quoted for the labor cost because they were actually honest about how long it took to do everything. Balboa Auto Body is amazing! Unfortunately, someone clipped the driver side of my brand new car that I got this past summer. I went in for an estimate and repair, and Justin helped me along each step of the way. He also helped me get a rental car through State Farm, and even told me tips to save money along the way - I appreciated his honesty. Balboa Auto Body was increíble to work with from start to finish. I received a phone call immediately and the gentleman was so concerned and helpful. I then repeatedly was updated and taken to see my car with a full explanation of what to expect next. I was lucky enough to have the tow truck driver take my car there and I would go back for repairs on my own accord. The owner was especially helpful and personable and I appreciate his sincere kindness. The whole place is awesome and my car looked amazing! I was so happy to have it back! While it pains me to leave a negative review I simply am left with no other option. Where to begin? Well let's start from the beginning. I take my vehicle for a simple repair of the bumper corner. This is a simple repair and everything seems to go well enough. Upon picking my vehicle up first thing I notice is the check engine light is on and the car is running rough. I ask about it and they say they have no idea what I am talking about. I respond, when I dropped my vehicle off it had no check engine light. There response, well there is nothing we could have done to cause that and it must be a coincidence. My response, there is no way this is a "coincidence" Next I notice that the rear parking sensors do not work. Again I get a response from employe CORI that there is nothing they could have done to cause my parking sensors not to work. My response "What are you talking about you, repaired the bumper and installed the parking sensors, now it does not work." Ok lets speed through this part as I then take my car back to them maybe four or five times for them to fix the parking sensors, finally on time number maybe 6 I cant even remember at this point because it has become so many they replace the parking sensors, still does not work. I return to the shop where employee CORI yells at me in front of my child and continues to act aggressively telling me it works, I'm wrong and treats me as if I'm either hard of hearing or low IQ. Then they send me to a calibration company whom calibrates the sensor and it works. Let me remind you this maybe 6-7 times I took my vehicle back to Balboa auto body to repair the sensor they repeatedly told me it was "plug and play" meaning that you just plug it in and it works. When I contact them about the calibration of the sensor they state "Wow, this is the first time this has ever happened to us" So on to that check engine light. I'm told on about 10 occasions from CORI that it's an ENGINE light and has "nothing" to do with the "bumper repair" because it is a BUMPER told to me slowly every time as if I am hard of hearing or low on the intelligence quotient scale. Funny thing is after taking the vehicle to the company that calibrated the parking sensor they diagnose the check engine light as coming from the activated charcoal canister which is located where? I will let you take a wild guess, behind the rear bumper cover. Upon removing the wheel liner I discover that in order to replace the bumper corner you have to remove the Canister to access the bolt that holds on the bumper. However Balboa auto body tells me, they never removed the canister and have no idea how any work they performed could have to do with a check engine light. Funny, it is actually impossible to replace the bumper corner without removing the canister as you can't access the bolt that holds the bumper corner on without removing the canister. I have been back to Balboa auto body no short of 10 times and the last time they tell me I am on my own and there is nothing they are willing to do. Let me insert the fact that has been omitted, this is a 100k dollar Mercedes. Now, I am left with taking my vehicle to the dealership for repair. I will be sending Balboa auto body the bill and if not paid I will be taking them to small claims court as no matter what the repair bill is, it's the principle now that they damaged my vehicle, the employe CORI was rude to me speaking aggressively in front of my child and acting like I was a problem and continually passing off responsibility. This has sucked weeks out of my life for what should have been an easy repair causing constant aggravation.

The worst experience ever! The folks in the front are great, but I’m here to get my car fixed. They got paid through my insurance two days after I brought it in. Tim said it should take two weeks max, they had it for almost 2 months. When I come to pick it up I had to wait an hour, as if they just started working on it. I drove off and immediately notice my car shaking! I have two kids in the car and had to drive twice on the freeway. Come to find out my tires were so unbalanced the guy at Firestone was confused! Worst experience ever.

Called on a Tuesday and made an appointment to drop my vehicle off the following Monday for rear end repair. Told them the year, make, and model and described the damage. Lady on the phone said they would be happy to help me out and read back the date and time to confirm the drop off. On arrival, they claimed they had made no such appointment and that they don't even work on my vehicle year and couldn't imagine how any of their employees would have told me otherwise. I pulled up my recent calls and showed them the call and confirmed it was their number and not another shop. Complete waste of time.
