Poor customer service the actual mechanic is never present he’s always gone,doesn’t even take credit card payments and a rip off for half done work left my engine shield in the backseat of my car leaving my engine exposed and left my car filthy won’t go back to A&J again.

All these good reviews are old. I been knowing Ronnie for 30 years. I had my daughter to take her car to him for diagnostic to see why engine reduced power light on and the car keeps shutting off. He charged 120 for diagnostic, which is good. Told him my daughter needed her car back the by the end of the day and call us if he need to keep it longer. No call at the end of the day. So, I called Ronnie around 7pm to get status. He said he left early. He said car needed alternator and push starter. Said the dealer only one has starter and it would be Monday. I told him my daughter's warranty will cover the alternator, but we can't wait until Monday. Told Ronnie we will just pay the diagnostic fee and pick up car in the morning. Called Ronnie the next morning told him my daughter on the way to pick up car around 10:30 am, he started talking about he don't think the car is ready ! Why the car not ready! I replied! Ronnie said he think the mechanic took the alternator off and pushed starter off. I said we told you we were coming to pick up car. We gave him an hour to get car ready for pick up. My daughter called and asked Ronnie is the car ready for pick up he said after lunch time. I gave him a call an hour later. Ronnie tells me the car is fixed! I said , what you mean no one has an alternator until Monday! Ronnie changed the story and said the Mechanic fixed the problem and it doesn't need an alternator and push starter! He said mechanic reprogram computer, check wiring, and put oil in the car and that will be $250.00. I said no one authorized you the do any repairs. We said we were coming to get the car! He said oh well we got to get paid for working on the car! He didn't call us as the customer to say ,hey we found the problem and it will be $250.00. He took upon himself to got ahead and try to fix something on the car to make some money quickly before we picked up car! Ronnie was buying time all that morning trying to figure out a way to get money out of us. We paid the $ 250.00 picked up car. 30 minutes later my daughter called me and said Dad, this car just cut off in the middle of traffic and the ESC light back on. Told my daughter to call him but no answer. I called Ronnie, no answer. He literally took our money and stronghold us, forced a repairs on us, then said we have to pay in order to get the car. I told him I'll send the police and my daughter up there. Ronnie said police will not do anything because it Civil.. I trust in God. He must really needed $250.00. I've known Ronnie for 30 years and I stopped going to him years ago for a similar situation, but I said its been awhile let me try A&J out again. SAME! Unprofessional, inexperienced mechanics, and doesn't really fix the problem! Don't take you your car here! If you do you will regret it! Trust me! God bless him if he having hard times to just take money and force repairs on customer just to make money.
