I am very happy with this place, both mistakes yet, knowledgeable, and very friendly. This is my mechanic. P. S. I'm the son of a diesel/gasoline mechanic that owned his own shop for 40 years, I grew up on a Creeper. Some of my oldest memories have to do with "WRENCHING ON CARS/TRUCKS (ENGINES). P. P. S. And yes, there IS a difference between an ENGINE, and a MOTOR. An engine runs on liquid fuel, a motor runs on electricity.

His knowledge and ability to diagnose a problem with your car or truck is better than almost any other mechanic I have ever used in the last 35 years. He will help you with preventative work, especially oil changes and tire rotations. He has a very great knowledge of all things mechanical and can fix them all on your car or truck. I had a box truck that needed oil change. NPR izuzu 4cyl couldn't find places that wanted to do it. But they do it here and they have very good price. Jon was very friendly and knowledgeable. definitely recommend coming here.

Honest, professional and affordable mechanical repairs! I have been getting my vehicles repaired by A&K since 2005. They have never overcharged for repairs or fixed things that were not broken. They also diagnosed a difficult vacuum leak on my 2003 Corvette which required 12 hours of labor and removal of the passenger side fender to gain access to the emissions equipment. Needless to say, they solved the issue and did not overcharge me for the repair,...(try that at the Chevy dealer) These guys are A+

went to this place because it looked like I could get my trailer inspected there and had some place to safely park it for the inspection. I asked the day before I came if it was ok to inspect my trailer in the grass area in front by the street and the technician said it should not be a problem. He was very polite and took care of my small car for the inspection the day before. Young lady behind the counter was very nice and pleasing to work with. I came back in the morning with my truck and trailer and parked it just on the other side of the gate. Young lady said she talked to the owner and he said I had to drive it in. It was more than a 90 degree turn on a busy street and I would have to cross over traffic lanes to get the trailer in. I asked the owner if this was ok and he said if I cannot drive the trailer I should not own it. I said if I cannot get it in the parking lot I will have to go somewhere else. Well I was able to catch a break and back it in to the parking lot. Owner came out and was very rude saying, "Thought you were going someplace else." Sorry, but I was always taught not to pull in someplace with the trailer unless you KNOW you can get out. Having to back out on the blind side across traffic may be doable but is not safe. And with no spotter to make sure cars don't come up too close is not safe. I choose my places carefully to make sure I can SAFELY get in and out. Overall they may have good people working for them but the owner is outright rude. Look at other comments and judge for yourself. You may have better luck.

Warranty not honored, after one day take it to them to fix check engine light came out for same reason but the ask for more money. Take your business somewhere else

Not reputable at all. My first red flag was overhearing another customer explaining that they just recently got their license to inspect vehicles back, which after seeing their other shady tactics I can assume it was previously stripped for forging inspections. After being told it would take 30 minutes to check my brakes to get a quote, it took them only 20 minutes, which impressed me. Then they sat around for another hour before finally getting a quote, knowing their prices are way too high, but making sure it was too late to go to a different shop before closing. Absolutely shady and horrible business practices

A&K Auto Repair is the best auto repair shop I've dealt with over the past three years! I've been taken advantage of by the Nissan Dealer, so my father recommended his top choice repair place. Every time I've brought my car to them, they have fixed it at a reasonable price. I'm delighted to have a TRUSTWORTHY shop for my repair needs like A&K! The dealerships are getting out of hand.
