They put a used transmission in my vehicle and charged me 2500 for rebuild. They would only accept cash, shady situation. I learned my lesson the hard way, cause my transmission is failing on me now, again. I had them rebuild my transmission twice, it makes me sick, both times failed within the year.

I had Palm Coast Ford attempt to repair my transmission and they pulled the transmission inspected it and put it all back together free of charge and said everything is working as expected. I then took it to A Plus and these guys were awesome as the clutch, bearing and flywheel were all badly damaged so awesome service and I will use them for everything from now on.

Best transmission shop in Volusia county. I thought I’d have to junk my car after the transmission went out. The owner of Aplus assured me he could fix my car. I was nervous because I didn’t have a lot of money to spend. But Don fixed my transmission in a timely manor and at a super reasonable price. I’m a single women and was so worried about being taken advantage of as we usually are when it comes to mechanics. Don is an honest man and doesn’t take advantage of anyone including single women. I met Jason for the first time last Thurs. they were a referral....I explained the problem with my transmission and scheduled an appoint for them look at it the following Wed. I met with Jason on arrival, and he asked me many questions about the car, and what it’s doing.....I left the car, and the very next day, after his process of elimination of what could be wrong, and doing a series of tests, he called me to tell me what he thought was wrong; then after verifying with me that it was ok to order parts, he went ahead and did the repairs....... From my perspective, Jason was very honest, thorough in his search to determine what was wrong, and very timely with the repair; and price was very fair...... These guys are INCREDIBLE. They also do more than just transmissions. They do a lot of other repairs also. Everything they do, they do it 110%. We’ve had many many cars repaired here and they have done a great job every time. They’re very honest, and very fair with their prices. These gentlemen were nothing less than honest and kind to me. They made me feel like they cared for me like one of their family members. They gave me a generously reasonable quote, and when they started taking things apart to troubleshoot, they found that the issue turned out to be something less expenssive. Instead of taking advantage of the fact that I didn't know better, they gave me the great news that my cost would be under $200 instead of over 1k. The solution baffled me because I personally had worked on that part to check it off my list, so I suspected that maybe they did more than they charged me for but regardless, my vehicle hasn't sounded and driven so well in years and I'm thrilled with my experience with A Plus Transmission!

Was recommend this place by my neighbor. Dropped it off after hours and got a call the following morning diagnosing the issue with a price. Thought I had gears slipping in my transmission, expecting a hefty repair bill, I was very pleased when they diagnosed coils and spark plugs. Fixed my issue right up and it only took 1 business day and less than $1k with a tranmission service included. Which it needed too while we were at it. Highly recommend for an honest repair shop with reasonable pricing. It's where I'll be bringing all my work trucks.

I dropped my vehicle off with my contact info after business hours to replace my brakes and Tim called me promptly the following morning. He worked fast and stayed in frequent contact with status updates and options. The quote I received was considerably competitive to what I would have paid anywhere else for the amount of parts and labor that was required. Tim was considerate of my budget and gave me options, but was also honest and upfront with the fact that if I only change the brake pads, there's no guarantee that my scratched up rotors won't prematurely wear out the new pads. His quote made it possible for me to afford replacing everything necessary and feeling safe in my car again. I'll be sure to come back for all of my diagnostic and repair needs because A+ Transmission is a business I can trust to have my best interest in mind.

PLEASE do not make the mistake of ever taking your vehicle to this shop. The workers and owner are absolute garbage. I paid $3000 for them to rebuild my transmission and after a few weeks the vehicle would continually slip out of gear. After 2 more trips to the shop for the same issue, my vehicle stayed untouched for several months. They apparently closed their doors and refused to complete the work I had originally paid for. They destroyed the vehicle and it is now completely unable to be driven. I had to have it towed to a different shop. Deal with this shop at your own risk!! If I could give them negative stars, I would.
