The car is in for a FULL color change paint job. It's getting painted Mean Green Metallic. So far I'm giving 5 stars review. But I will repost with paint results. This was my son's car and he has passed away so it is a very sentimental car. I carefully picked Bloom Auto repair for this task, and they passed it off to another company he owns to have it painted at a better facility. Stay tuned... Update: Very happy so far. As others have mentioned they really do go above and beyond expectations! Can't wait to see the finished product. Update2: It is absolutely beautiful! Almost finished, looks like it just needs the windshield installed, and cleaned up. I'll post the final pics, and update when I get it home. Thank you Bloom Auto Repair & AAA Collision Repair for working with me on this very special memorial restoration. I truly appreciate it from the bottom of my heart! Update3: Bloom auto wanted me to go down and inspect the car and pay for it. AAA had 2.5 hrs before my 2pm appt. The car was covered in thick bodywork dust and indoors. I told them I could not inspect it inside, and Soo dirty. They pulled it outside and continued to wipe it down DRY with a dirty rag, dipped in dirty water with grease on it! You NEVER wipe dust or dirt into paint like that! You rinse before using soapy water and a clean rag! My heart sank, and I got nauseous. Just barely looking at the car I find a HUGE run on the front bumper, a defects in the paint on hood and front fender, AND a dent they missed on one of the rear doors. They said the dent was subtle and did not want to repair it without some kickback from us. Now he tells my wife if there is anything else, they can't fix it!? We don't have possession of the car yet. They can't look over their own work to see these flaws? We are 60 years old and don't see the best anymore. I have worked in the auto repair industry my whole life! When you pick up a car from a body shop, whether it is a fender repair, or a whole repaint. That car gets cleaned inside and out and inspected BEFORE the customer ever sees it! Salman @ Bloom Auto told me when I was deciding on who to paint my car told me lifetime warranty on paint defects as long as paint is taken care of. AAA could not even tell me the warranty? I'm still leaving 5 stars for now, hopefully it will get resolved...😓 No resolution, no warranty when I was told lifetime warranty on paint per Bloom auto who is the one who sent my car to AAA for paint. More details when I'm up to it.
