Got a AAA tow to this location when my car wouldn't start, and they could take it in and start working on it right away. Diagnostic report was thorough and Joe and Julio were very helpful and patient with all my questions, and helped me with some issues that weren't even part of the original diagnosis. A friend recommended Kniesel's to me for their honest, straightforward, customer friendly service at a reasonable price. I came for my second oil change today and their excellent service is just as I remember last time. Everything was done in a timely manner, and although they had other things they found, they were not pushy about doing it then and there. They even vacuumed my car before returning it! (I washed my car but didn't have the time to vacuum before my appointment, like I usually do. So, that was a nice surprise service!) I like that you get a digital report of the services done, which you can access at any time. Overall, an excellent place to bring your car for service! Definitely recommend it!

Avoid this shop. Overcharged me by several hundred dollars for a shifter cable replacement and refused to come down in price after I comparison shopped at four other repair shops. Car had already been towed there so we had zero recourse. The final labor charge was $500 for 90 minutes of work; that was between our initial authorization and the call back that it was finished. In what world is that a fair price? Manager on duty vaguely cited a “program” for their labor pricing and didn’t reply when I commented on the high pricing. Very frustrating.

I had my car towed to this repair shop because of a flat tire and needed the tire to be replaced. They did a complementary check of my car’s engine, and they told me had three oil leaks and my struts were in bad shape and needed to be replaced. The gave me a estimate of $4,000. I got a second opinion and there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car.

I know nothing about car maintenance. When the dredded tire pressure light came on, I called this AAA service repair location for an appointment to figure out what was going on. Joe told me to swing by and they’ll check the tire pressure for free. I guess I came in at a time that wasn’t too busy and they literally took less than 10 minutes to check air pressure and add some air in all of my tires and I was ready to go, free of charge! Thank you so much!

Julio and the rest of the AAA team there are responsive, detailed, and professional. I stopped going to Honda for services that AAA provides because of those reasons as well as price. Plus AAA pointed out maintenance issues that Honda normally hasn't, and that could save me $$$ and getting stuck on the road somewhere (AAA also has the best towing service with a AAA membership).

Excellent place. Did my Jaguar and even gave it a wash. Thanks a lot to The front office for making me laugh… told me that where ever I park my Jaguar, it instantly upgrades the entire area just by being there. Oddly enough it makes the entire neighborhood where I lived in Elk Grove look rich when it’s actually only my Jaguar that did it.

Our car decided to break on hwy 50. Having AAA really was a lifesaver. The tow truck driver Jimmy was extremely fast and professional. Being that we're traveling, we took our Mercedes to the AAA shop. Hector the service writer gave me a written estimate, the shop promptly found the issue. I woke up one morning to find a rat had chewed through my car's main wire harness. My insurance decided to drag their feet for two weeks before approving the repair, but this shop kept my car safe and stayed in contact with me and the insurance company the whole time. I visited the AAA Auto Repair Center at 49 Bicentennial Circle in Sacramento, right next to the small claims courthouse. I was at the courthouse yesterday and found out that one of my brake lights was out. I don’t know much about car repairs even something as small as replacing a brake light bulb, so I stopped by this AAA-operated repair shop for help. Hector and Michael were incredibly kind, professional, and patient. I explained that I’m not very familiar with the Sacramento area, even though I’ve lived here for over 13 years, because my life had mostly been a simple routine of work and home. They immediately helped me take care of the brake light, even though it was a small job, and treated me with respect and care. I have auto repair insurance and drive a used car, and based on this experience, I will absolutely return here for future service if anything comes up. They’ve earned a new customer. Thank you, AAA, and thank you to Hector and Michael for your professionalism and kindness. Our neighborhood truly needs service businesses like this. Keep up the great work!

As a AAA I had hoped that they wouldn’t try and take advantage of me. I took my FJ Cruiser in for an oil change, and got the inspection report that came with it. I was told I had front passenger wheel bearing issues and inner tire rods with excessive play. I was told to replace the entire rack and pinot and wheel bearing. They quoted me $5,000. I decided to take my car to another mechanic to get a second quote. They looked at the AAA inspection report and said they’d do their own inspection and get back to me. They informed me that my wheel bearings are fine and produce no noise and have zero play and that inner tire rods were also fine. This is a cautionary tale of this location and before you approve them for any work if possible go get a second opinion and quote. 2 stars because the front desk staff were nice and the oil change was done in a timely manner.
