Robert was extremely helpful and explained everything to me. My car was ready in a short amount of time. I even recommended the shop to my family! That's how satisfied I am with them. Pricing was also very reasonable.

RUN! RUN! PLEASE take your vehicle somewhere else. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because my brother had used them before. I took my car in for specific issues and no check engine light on but running rough. They diagnosed something and said they repaired it. I didn't even make it home before the check engine light came on and started doing the same thing they claimed they repaired. Said to bring back then said it was something else and needed another part. More money and more parts with no solutions. All they did was idle my car to high to cover up the issues while I was there.They do free diagnostic because they can't exactly pin point the problem. Who has guess money. Robert talks real knowledgeable about cars and produces no real results. They are scammers. Go to someone more reputable even if it may cost more.

The place is Fraud… fraud… Fraud! I was having an issue with my car making a loud noise. I had it towed here to Ammco. They kept it for a few days. I got a call saying it had been diagnosed and needed a transmission. The cost would be 10k and they even offered financing. The shock on my face (10k) for a transmission! The guy Stephen insisted that I let him fix it. ( he was very aggressive and demanding). However, I just didn’t trust that because, I didn’t have a problem with the car driving or going into gear. I had it towed to another shop and there they broke it down. No success. However, not giving up hope. I had it towed to a third shop. At that shop they put the car back together from it being torn down from the second shop. They diagnosed the problem right away. ( it was the starter making the noise). I’m glad I took it to another shop. I would never use this place. They are crooks.

I highly recommend the AAMCO total car care at 3130 W. I 44 Service Rd. Their manager, Robert Wheeler, was extremely helpful. This location stood behind the Aamco warranty and repaired my car at no cost when some issues arose after work at another location. Slightly off the beaten path, but they were well worth finding and did a great job.

This place will rip you off. I understand that it's not free to remove a damaged part and install a replacement. But this place will charge you over $1000 to replace a part coating less than $50, and that isn't saying how much they want to charge for that part. And if you decide to being your vehicle here - DONT LEAVE ANYTHING VALUABLE IN IT. They will snoop through everything in it.

They did a great job! I dropped my car off they called the next day and said my transmission fluid was cherry red and didn't really need changing. They also check your entire car to see if there's anything wrong with the rest of your car. I thought that was very thorough. I would recommend this place. Robert and Emmanuel were very nice.

Great customer service and speed in getting my work done.They also called me to keep me updated on the repairs. My truck was finished after hours on a Friday and the manager met me at the shop on Saturday morning, while they were technically closed, so I could get my vehicle sooner. That's customer service!

DO NOT GO HERE! Very dishonest people tried to screw me over and say I needed a brand new transmission when there was nothing wrong with my vehicle. They quoted me $9800 for a used CVT transmission, and quoted me $16K on a brand new one. Low and behold I went to a different Transmission specialist who couldn’t find anything wrong with my transmission. He couldn’t even find any leaks in my lines. This is why you always want to get a second opinion folks Robert said I would be back after I left, but let me assure you, Robert, I will never come back to AAMCO ever again! And I will make it my mission to make sure I warn people about this place and complete dishonest services that they offer

Got a small problem taken care of at end of day. Thanks FYI kinda pricey for a five minute project. Nice people and job done correctly but……… I literally did the same job two days later for 5 bucks and change with 5-10 mins. Only thing that took me longer was the nut was farther back than the one I asked them to work on and it took a few tries to get a tool on it. It cost me $65. Again Job was done and done correctly but we won’t take another car there ever.

I was thinking it was going to be an expensive transmission, They found it was low on fluid due to a tiny leak on the transmission cooler. Replaced the cooler and filter refilled the fluid and checked for leaks. Manny and the mechanic were very easy to work with and did their best to keep the price down.

I called and explained that my truck was rear ended and caused the transmission to give out for some reason, and the guy immediately snapped at me and said “we don’t do body work, you got to take it to a body shop”. Like okay I know you all do transmission work which is why I called and mentioned my damn transmission. Took my business elsewhere, whoever that old guy on the phone is needs to learn to listen.

I had used Aamco in the past and wasn't satisfied with the work nor the overall customer service, so I decided to try another location to have them look at the vehicle since the problem started after visiting a different location. To my surprise Manny (supervisor) was understanding and his mechanics did a great job. I dropped the vehicle off and they diagnosed and fixed the problem with no fee's all in the same day. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone.
