★☆☆☆☆ I just want to start this review off by saying. Ever since I’ve bought my first car as a teenager I’ve always used this AAMCO for any big repair. So off and on for the last 15 years I’ve gladly taken my car in to be repaired. In the past I’ve had nothing but good experiences and would always speak highly of this specific shop. Because I knew they would get the job done and always would take care of any issues or questions I had. However I guess times have changed. In November of 2024 I brought my car in for oil pressure issues. They advised they couldn’t find what the issue was for a basic Diagnostic so they would have to charge me like 300 bucks to do a full diagnostic. Which I was OK with that. After having my car for a few days I got a call from Maurice saying it was the oil pump that was the issue and it was going to cost $2700 to fix. I was OK with that because I just needed my car fixed, and they had never lied to me or did me wrong in the past. I guess the joke was on me. not even two weeks after getting my car back from the shop. It was having the same exact issues as before. I called and told Maurice and he told me to bring the car back in. when I brought the car in. He said that it was fine. Nothing was happening if it happens again, bring it back to the shop(which I need my car for work and couldn’t easily do that/plus the shop was a bit far from my house) so not even a few days later the exact same thing started happening again with the oil pressure. It was so bad that I could not even drive the car I had to have it towed back to the shop. Then I was told the car was low on oil and they topped it off and the car was fine. The car in fact was not fine. Within days the same issues reappeared again. At that point I lost all fate in my car and in them fixing my issue. I would think if I paid $2700 to have my car fixed that it would be fixed and not continue to have the exact same issues that it had before I brought it in to the shop for. also the fact that they were not even willing to do the work and figure out what they did wrong or how they misdiagnosed it is beyond me. I guess since they already had my money why would they put in any extra effort to fix their mistake. I will never ever in my lifetime go back to this shop or Recommend any AAMCO. I hope no one else ever has to experience what I had to at this repair shop.
