I have nothing but great things to say about Joe and his team. I recently purchased a GMC Yukon and unfortunately the transmission went bad. I went through a couple of obstacles...The 1st being is that I am very unfamiliar with American trucks because this is my first. Secondly I have a warranty company that is not the best to say the least. With that said Joe never got frustrated or irritated with my questions or concerns. Working with the warranty company was horrible but Joe re-assured me that all will be well and talked me off the ledge a few times. I thank him and his team for repairing my truck and for all his patience. I would surely recommend this shop to anyone. Joe is a man of integrity...thank you Joe!

I recommend this location, Is the best inversion of your money. I bring my Saturn outlook they make me the diagnostic on my car and they toll me don't spend money on the car. The car found damage on the engine and bad transmission. They don't charge me a penny. This gentlemans is honestly and honor for the professional technician. I recommend the best place and I give no five stars thousands of start. Is a trustable place.

Had my son’s car towed to a different repair shop, it took a week to get a diagnosis and an estimate. I didn’t feel comfortable so I called AAMCO and spoke to Joe he towed the car from the other facility that day, had a diagnosis and estimate the next day. As it turned out the transmission needed to be replaced. Joe ordered the new transmission and had the car ready in three business days. My son said the car “ran amazingly”. We couldn’t be happier and would not hesitated to recommend AAMCO to anyone for their auto repair work.

Would recommend to anyone who wants a quality mechanic at a reasonable price. They have a national name but definitely will take care of you personally and understandably. He is my go to guy for everything and if he doesn't 100% know or is overloaded with work from being so reliable it takes a little longer than you can go without the car, he gets you to once of his guys who takes care of you just as well. I take my vehicles to Joe for everything because he knows what he's doing and I know it's gonna be right and he stands behind his work.

I could not give a higher endorsement for Joe and his team at the Cary AAMCO location!! I brought my Silverado into Joe’s shop, half expecting that he’d tell me I would need a major overhaul if not a full replacement of my transmission. Joe’s knowledge, expertise, and experience let me know that I had come to the right place. After test driving my vehicle with their diagnostic system, Joe and his team were able to quickly pinpoint the exact cause of my issue and provide me with an accurate explanation and step by step process in how to fix it. Best of all, the cost to fix the issue was well below anything I could have imagined. If you are having any transmission issues, I would highly recommend going in to see Joe and his guys. I hope to never have transmission issues in the future, but if I do, I know Joe is the only guy that I would go see. Joe, you and your guys are an asset to the community. I greatly appreciate all you've done to help me.

We paid over 6k for a refurbished transmission and approximately 9 months later nothing works! Can you believe this I am very upset and feel ripped off! Why would you sell a device that has less than a year’s value? Like we can afford now to go purchase a whole new car.

I spoke with Joe by phone a couple times before bringing my car in to get a second opinion on a dealer recommended service. Joe was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I took my car in last week and in less than 15 mins, Joe gave me the great news that I don’t need the suggested service and that my car looked “brand new” under the hood. He said the dealership gave me a worst case scenario in order to upsell me. Joe’s assessment saved me a few thousand dollars expense!! I would definitely recommend this auto shop for your needs…

Having to take your car to the shop is never a fun experience. That being said, Joe and Dylan are wonderful people to interact with! They are both very nice and helpful, and the service is super quick! I recently had some issues with my car and both times I took it in, they had it ready to go in under two days. I am a real satisfied customer that just got my Nissan back from AAMCO Cary Transmissions at 1615 Walnut St Cary, NC. Everyone knows it’s rare to get an honest diagnosis and service for your car. The guys at AAMCO Cary Transmissions are that RARE car service provider that will honestly diagnose and service only what you need and not take advantage of a chance to rip you off with unnecessary parts, service and labor charges. I described my issue to a local nissan dealership, they diagnosed it and told me I needed a new transmission for over $9000. I described the same thing to Joe, Dylan and the men at AAMCO Cary Transmissions. They gave me an honest diagnosis and fixed the minor malfunction that I had with a small part and a treatment for less than $300. My car runs like a charm now and the problem I had is no longer happening. I’m truly grateful for their honesty and service. If you have issues with your car, I recommend you take it to them and find out for yourself!!

Fantastic service and employees working here! This was my first time going here, and I was blown away with the level of communication and updates I was given throughout my repairs. I really appreciated that I never once had to call them; They called me with every new update and were crystal-clear about costs throughout the two days of my car being in their care. I had a great experience! I needed all 4 brakes and rotors on my car and an oil change. I called first thing Monday morning, brought my car to them and Joe got me an estimate by the end of the day. He let me know there were multiple cars ahead of mine but he’d try his best to get me done as quick as he could. He kept me updated with phone calls and called me promptly when my car was ready! He honestly is one of the nicest car guys I’ve ever met! Very welcoming, patient, and willing to help you. I know as a woman it’s scary going to car shops by yourself sometimes - but I felt the pricing was super fair, I never had to argue or question anything, never felt taken advantage of once. He also was so helpful in helping me with my financing for the purchase. Overall 10/10 - definitely would go back & they have the cutest furry coworker who comes to greet you :)
