I had an appointment for brake replacement and an oil change later in the week, but they had an opening earlier and let me come in the same day. Quoted price for both the oil change and brake replacement was significantly cheaper than other shops in the area. What was most impressive though was their honesty and customer service. Another shop told me my rear brakes needed to be replaced, but Accurate Auto told me there was no reason to replace those yet because they were in good shape. That interaction told me they care more about doing good, honest work than just getting money. Also, I was able to get all my maintenance work done in a single day. I dropped my car off around 8am and was able to pick it up by 1. Nathan at the front desk was also cordial and straight to the point. He broke everything down for me quickly without beating around the bush or trying sales tactics other shops would to get me to do work that wasn't needed. I appreciate the straightforward interaction and no nonsense approach.

I've been taking my cars and truck to Accurate Auto Hillsboro for a few years now. I've always appreciated their ability to work on a car with very little notice and provide a quick turn around. I've had pretty much every service possible done here now and the vehicle always comes back feeling great. Most recently I had the transmission, transfer case and front/rear diffs serviced on my truck. Everyone is extremely nice and helpful. While I've never used one and don't know the specifics, they do have loaner cars available, which is something I don't see at most other shops.

My roommate recommended these guys to me, and they're great. The document I received over email listing everything they found was super impressive in it's comprehensive detailing. This was my first time getting major repairs to my 2009 Subaru and never felt once like I was getting ripped off or talked into getting something I didn't need done. On 8/4/25, I dropped-of my GMC Savana1500 passenger van at the Hillsboro Accurate Auto for an oil change and a check-up after a very long road trip. Later I received a recommendation to have the brake fluid replaced which I approved. In the past I have experienced great service from Accurate Auto in Beaverton and Hillsboro. Two years ago, the Hillsboro location did a great job replacing the air conditioning unit in this same vehicle. But during this visit, they caused damage to the roof and overfilled the brake fluid reservoir. When having service preformed on any of my vehicles, I always perform an inspection before and after any service. This time I hand washed the van just before taking it into Accurate Auto for service. When picking up my van, I found a new dent on the roof. I made them aware of the damage, and they took photos. After parking the van in my garage, I noticed a lot of brake fluid on the floor. I found that the lid on the brake fluid reservoir was not fully closed. More fluid squirting-out when I closed-it. They did schedule a time for me to bring back the van to determine if an air vent caused the dent when the van was lifted. It was clear to me that the vent did not align nor had the correct shape to cause the dent. But I did see a section of the duct that did align well, had the correct shape and orientation. After pointing this out, the tone of the service manager changed. She stated we were done and had me leave the property. I was not allowed to take photos. She also promised that a district manager would contact me. No call as of 8/25/25. I also saw dents in their air ducts indicating this has happen before. Damaging a customer’s car and botching a simple break fluid flush requires that management should be taking corrective action. Doing the right thing does not seem to be their business culture. Rick Kersey started this business to provide superior service as compared to dealership auto repair shops. I fear that growth and success have made Rick complacent and is not closely involved in the day-to-day operations. This puts shade on all five Accurate Auto locations.

Brake indicator warning lights appeared on 2005 Prius. Problem was a switch and also diagnosed 12 volt battery needed replaced. Had the car back in one day. I trust employees at Accurate Auto. Very good communication and they deliver on what they promise. I suggest giving them a chance to help you and see if you also appreciate their service.

It saddens me to write this review but since the owners have not followed through, here I am. My husband talked this placed up to me big time. He used them several times with positive results. The most recent time in July we brought his truck back for some expensive and serious repairs. We picked up his truck and 10 minutes after leaving the lot the trust started making the most horrendous screeching sound, that was new. We immediately had to take it back to be looked at. Something about the axel was misaligned I believe and they had to adjust it. We pick it up again and drive from Hillsboro to our home in happy valley. The next day we go to have a date night, 5 minutes into driving the truck and once again it starts shaking so violently, my husband almost crashed off the side of the road. They had to tow his truck to the location again, the screws were stripped from the mechanics second repair. That is a time we could have been seriously hurt due to poor repairs. We spent thousands of dollars for this repair. My husband called 2-3 times for at least SOME refund due to the time, effort, and dissatisfaction of the services rendered. Each time he was told someone would reach out, we never heard a thing. Not once. At this point I will be reaching out to the better business bureau to report them, we could have been seriously hurt and they don’t seem to care to do anything about the danger they put us in. I do not recommend this place, maybe at one point they had great mechanics, but now, who knows who is working back there on your cars and is not paying attention to the details to keep the cars running smoothly.

Incredibly impressed by their professionalism, ability to correctly diagnose problems, and speed of service. Nathan was extremely helpful. Their technicians were able to fix a coolant issue that ford was not able to diagnose. This issue caused my car to overheat and stop on the road. This fix was an absolute lifesaver for me. They took on the job a few days before Christmas and had it done within a day. Also caught issues with my tires battery and brake. Explained what needed to get done and did not push to get everything done at once. In addition to the quick turn around time. The cost was incredibly reasonable. I HIGHLY suggest taking your car to this space. I will be back! Thank you so much guys.
