This was my second visit to Ace (They're amazing), I stopped by to discuss that my car was declared totaled by insurance and that I was hoping to get it repaired instead of taking cash settlement from insurance since the damage didn’t seem extensive to me. Ace said that they don’t fix totaled cars which was disappointing, but Dustin went out of his way to explain why, he made me understand what the process that I was pursuing really entailed, even if I found a shop that would take it, it’s going to cost me money time and possibly multiple failures at getting it to pass the DMV inspection. He was honest, kind, empathetic, and offered valuable professional advice at no cost. That level of customer service needed recognition! Thank you Dustin 😊

I had to bring my car in for repair after someone hit me. I dealt mostly with Kevin. Kevin was amazing! Stayed in communication, provided great detail, was kind and was prompt. I've had the honor, pleasure, and privilege to have been introduced to Kevin and his team at Ace Auto Body, Inc. of 911 Park Street in Hartford, CT. To say that he/Ace Auto Body is/are honest, just, transparent, fair, and offer SUPERB QUALITY WORK is simply not enough and absolutely does "not" do them justice...as they are all of that and much much more! I've been in the auto industry for 20+ years and being on the other side is at times nerve racking...but you will NOT get that feeling with Kevin & Ace Auto Body. Kevin is 3rd generation running this family owned shop and it is with sincere admiration to find a garage that still operates externally & internally with that same practice! Kevin & Ace Auto Body are a prime example of "automotive rarity" and just down right, an AMAZING BUNCH!!! I WILL be seeing Ace Auto Body again for more work, as I had him repair a vehicle that I bought used & wanted to fix some parts that were simply "uncared for" by the previous owner and after Ace Auto Body touched it, it looks literally like-new!!! Again, I have other cars that need fixing here & there and so, Ace Auto Body is my place! My three month old Volvo XC90 was damaged when a parking lot gate closed on my car. The damage which can be seen in the picture below, was actually caused by a screw that protruded from the gate arm. The damage was in the area between the windshield and the driver's side window, a narrow area that didn't appear easy to repair. I didn't think it could be fixed without a major reconstruction, so when a friend told me that the guys at Ace Auto Body did fantastic work, I gave them a call. The phone was answered by Gary Clavette, one of the owners. He was knowledgeable and very pleasant, and told me to stop by for an estimate. I drove to the shop the next day. Gary assessed the damage and handed me a very reasonable estimate. Two weeks later Ace Auto Body repaired my car and I could not be happier! You will see from the second photo below, a close-up, that my car looks as good as new. The dent is gone, and the paint was matched perfectly! Gary, his son Kevin and the guys at Ace are easy to do business with and do fantastic work. If I could give them 10 stars on this Google review, I would! Thank you Ace Auto Body!

Amazing customer service, friendly professional staff. They kept me more in the loop on everything that was going on with my repairs better than my own insurance adjuster. They went above and beyond from day one, they were overbooked and couldn't take me in till later down on the week and when I took my car for the inspection just so I can make sure it was safe to keep driving and sure enough it wasn't and being booked they kept my car, got me a rental on the spot and my car was ready on a reasonable timing even when my insurance kept trying to supply them with parts that's weren't suitable for the repair. Job is fantastic my car is looking amazing!!! I recommend this shop to anyone, I got a new tire (same brand), wheel and bumper, sensors were calibrated and the paint job! Pictures speak for themselves, these guys are amazing at what they do.
