Bought a bare b20z2 long block from them for 700 under the assumption it was a good motor turned out to have a bad thrust washer on the crank witch caused it to throw a rod on a test drive no more then 10 miles Bobby was very rude about the whole situation basically saying he wouldn't take responsibility for selling me a bad motor

The older gentleman is a class act, very helpful, knowledgeable and kind, this is not how I would describe his partner. I have never been more disrespected at a business in my life. I will never walk back into that shop. I can say nothing negative about the work, other then it always takes longer then estimated and the cost is always peaking at the highest end of the pricing spectrum. Even if I was a difficult customer, which I most certainly was not, it would not excuse or warrant the degrading and confrontational manner that the younger mechanic hurled my way. The customer is an inconvenience to be trampled over at Acero's Auto Tech. Be warned. By walking in their doors you are celebrating that disgusting behavior, and this is where I draw my line in the sand. I can only assume this is the exception on not the rule by the fact they are still operating.

You will simply not find a better mechanic. I went to school with Bobby and he is one of the best people you will ever meet. As far as his skill, business and work ethic, you will find no finer example. He is thorough and knowledgeable in every way, and goes above and beyond to make his customers happy. My education is in welding and mechanics, I am very picky when it comes to quality and my expectations are very high, and Bobby is the only person that will touch my truck other than myself. Bob is also very knowledgeable, diligent, and great to deal with. I have sent friends and family members to Bobby and they all have been extremely satisfied. I simply cannot say enough good things. Acero's Auto Tech is a one stop shop, there is nothing they can't handle.
