this is not a true advance auto parts store it is car quest which has different guild lines and computer systems and re return policys. basically advance auto can not help you will any problems you have with this store. and they will do what ever it take to not return items. my opinion, go up the road to a real advance.

I like advance Auto parts, except for this location, sales people stink, and the hours of operation stink. Auto parts stores should not close early during week, and should be open long hours on weekends, that's when most people fix cars. This location closed Sundays and close early all other days.

Customer service ??? not here the customer service was not in the emoyee hand book.I have bought many parts here because of the convenience of the location and usually I'll muddle my way through but it has consistently been either wrong parts or almost always the feeling from any of the same older men that they just dont care.Customer service is important and the old grumpy men routine isn't the way to go .next thing will be them policing the parking lot of the strip mall for somthing to do ..

Came in on a Saturday with my elderly neighbor who had ordered a Hard to get Monroe shock for an old vehicle. He had spoke to the store Thursday and Friday to confirm it was in. Got to this store and the man made the least effort possible to look and then insisted we had the wrong store. After explaining we were sure it was the right store he insisted we had to go to another location a few miles away. We left. Surprise , after looking up our parts At the new store and calling the Original store back, w they discovered we were right the first time and the part was there. When we returned, the man who sent us away , looked at us and said someone must be pulling your leg , I don’t have it. I insisted he go check with someone. He came back with the part and said “well I didn’t take the call when he ordered it so how should I have known”!omg!!!! The store manager CHRIS, needs to retrain his employees at the very least. Both men working had attitudes as if they were attending a funeral instead of work. I could accept that , but not taking ANY responsibility with no remorse for our hour long detour , was unbelievable. With Napa, Bumper to bumper, Reilly, and auto zone, Carquest needs to realize times are changing and you need to look ahead. I ran a store for 10 yrs and I had 18 ur olds with better work ethics than these guys. First impression of this store, last time I’ll come there and I’ll recommend Waukegan tire use a different store For parts as well when they move in there!!!!

I had an emergency and needed lug bolts. It's pretty likely they didn't have what I needed but the guy behind the counter wouldn't even look. Guy, it's your job to help customers find auto parts. If that's a problem maybe find another job. What happened to taking pride in your work? Won't go back to advance because of this. There's an auto zone right up the street and the employees there are happy to help however they can

If you see the same part at another parts store (not an internet company...needs to be a brick and mortar store) Advance will beat their price! Almost always have everything you need in stock and if it's not... they almost always can get it by the next morning or even sometimes the same day!

Probably the last time I will patronize the location. I ordered a battery online and when i went to pick it up, the manufacturing date was 8 months ago. When I complained about selling me an 8 month old battery, he said it was the only one they had. I thought about it and decided I wanted a refund. Only then did he bother to look, and miraculously found one only 1 month old. How about trying to help your customers instead of screw them?
