Elson should give classes on being a professional shop. He understood our problem and fixed it immediately. We were from out of town and had a door problem with our Sprinter. Elson and team fixed in a VERY timely manner. They are the greatest. Simone kept me posted on everything... cost and time frame for work to be completed. They were AWESOME!!!

stay away from this place they know how to repair parts only they are not good mechanics had my vehicle there for over a week and they kept giving me the run around until finally they told me what the problem of the car was or at least they thought they did ended up being something else which i had to take the car to the dealer and it was cheaper than what they had charged me previously my recommendation stay away

My car was misfiring and I brought it here. The lady upstairs made me wait for her boss. 40 minutes later when her boss got there he had nothing to say to me and wouldn't listen to anything I had to say and just told me to leave it. I waited 4 days and called twice. All to have them charge me 400$ for a repair without asking. It was the ignition coil that I tried to tell him was bad. 40$ part that takes 10 minutes to replace for 400$! The next day my splash shield fell down and was dragging from when they took it off and is now destroyed. Never again.

This is an unfortunate review of this business. They were recommended by a friend so we trusted that they could handle replacing the brakes, rods and tires on our car. After work was completed, all seemed ok until I drove the car back and forth to Fall River for my sons baseball tournament and had a flat tire on a brand new tire that was just replaced. They forgot to gun the bolts and the brake caliper ripped out the inside of my rim. Elsom who owns the place refused to call me and talk about what happened. I had to rent a car for a week on my own dime and then had to get this resolved. They ducked my every call and refused to discuss covering the rental for their mistake. that’s just bad business in my opinion. Plenty of small businesses to take your car to. Make a mistake? It happens. Duck calls and refuse to acknowledge? Completely unacceptable. Take your business elsewhere.

Very unprofessional. Pricing fluctuates for the same exact service. They also stripped my drain plug from the previous oil change and claimed it wasn’t them. The mechanic who was absolutely filthy got in the car and ruined my interior. Grease, dust, and grime everywhere. Only go here if you are in an absolute budget and like to gamble, or if you don’t care about your vehicle. Don’t let the positive reviews fool you, they are most likely friends and family.

I had a breakdown on a Friday night. I frantically called around trying to find a place open to get the car towed to for repair. The woman who answered the phone was so kind and helpful. I had my car towed and they called me first thing to let me know the car was being worked on. By 3 pm the same day it was all fixed for a very reasonable price ! Very professional and very nice crew!!

By far the most politest shop I've ever been too. The owner himself came out and helped me with telling me what was wrong with my car and the secretary Simone was very helpful and very kind and polite with helping me get a quote to fix my car. I highly recommend Affordable Auto, there awesome and the name speaks for themselves..... THEY ARE AFFORDABLE...... I will definitely go back if I ever have issues with my vehicle....

I have been driving for about 15 years. This is the first time I can actually say that I had an AMAZING experience at a mechanic shop. Elson, the owner is wonderful. He went above and beyond to help me get my car to pass it's inspection. The prices were reasonable and after everything was fixed, he took my car himself, to another auto shop that does inspections (since his auto shop does not) - just to save me a trip. My mouth dropped when my inspection sticker was all ready to go when I picked it up. Have you ever heard of such a thing?? Simone is so organized and professional- she handles all the billing, ordering of parts, etc. She has a binder with all her paperwork and past receipts, everything laminated- very impressive. I recommend everyone I know to Elson now. This will be my new home. I can't say enough great things.

My experience with Affordable Repair was a complete disaster! Brought my car in thinking it was a wheel bearing issue due to a weird noise, and they confirmed it. But guess what? They replaced it, and the noise didn't go away. After keeping my car hostage for two days, they dropped a bomb, saying it was a transmission problem. Seriously, that's a big claim! So, I took my car to a Ford dealership for a reality check since I had already dropped over 800 bucks on their "fixes" that didn't work. Turns out, it wasn't the transmission at all. Ford diagnosed it as a front axle shaft and front control arm issue. Cost me another $600 at a certified shop to finally fix it. Affordable Repair seemed like they were just making things up! Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place. They're clueless and will gladly charge you for fixing stuff that ain't even broken. 😡👎

Had a WONDERFUL experience with this place! My partner and I took a used car that we were interested in purchasing to Affordable for a pre-purchase inspection. I called ahead the night before and the day of to make sure they had space and had no problem bringing the car and seller by to have the mechanics take a look. The team gave the car a thorough inspection and a quote for the parts that would need to be repaired. We left with peace of mind and confidence. They were generous with their time, patient, and just overall great to deal with.

The best auto repair shop you’ll ever go to. The staff there are amazing and customer service is 1st class. I’ve been a customer for a little over 3 years and have always been very satisfied with the service provided for my vehicles. They do go above and beyond to provide the best service to your car and the prices are reasonable. I now go regularly for my car maintenance such as oil changes, brakes, etc. It’s really a one stop shop and every customer that comes to the shop are always treated with patience, care and professional. It’s a bad place to fix a car ! My husband just got me this place to fix my Mercedes brake the same day I took my car I say no but the brake look the same ! And one month I almost get a accident because I couldn’t find brakes . Customer services 0/10 . They just want your money ! Nothing else ! Don’t go over in this place ,disgusting .
