My car was smoking when I brought it to them. He said he ran my car for one hour , Didn't find anything wrong with this. A stranger from full apart showed me that I had a blown head gasket, That's why my car was overheating . I came in looking dirty after work so that might have something to do with it, looking Poor. But I got the head gasket fixed the piece costed $200 . Car runs great right passes his shop never go there

Power steering went and engine overheated on the highway, was able to get it to Al's and they were able to look at it and fix it within 90 minutes. They were great and came through in a pinch. Would recommend

It's so easy to distrust this industry but Al has always been fair. I've used Al's Auto Service off and on for many years and he's always reasonably priced, he offers quick service, and he's true to his word. I so appreciate his personal integrity. I highly recommend this place.

I stopped in today to see if I can get service and the owner Al was very rude I think it was because I was a black woman he didn’t even wanna look at me then I ask him when would be a good time to come in he told me he don’t know I will have to make an appointment well I’m standing here now that’s what I’m trying to do he asked me was my check engine light on I explained to him that it was and I already got the car checked at auto zone with the check engine readers and he tells me he don’t care about my papers if I want him to look at my car then he’s gonna use his machine and tell me what’s wrong with it this man is very rude and disrespectful I wouldn’t go here if he was the only repair shop BEWARE if you are BLACK stay away!!!!!!!

I have lived in the West Park Puritas area all my life (57 years), I have driven past Al’s Auto Service since I could drive. I never used them until this week, 07/22. It’s the best experience I have ever had with an auto shop. Al, the owner who has been in business there for 44 years is extremely pleasant to deal with. Unlike other auto shops I have dealt with (Conrad's, Rad-air…). Al’s will not try to sell you anything you don’t need. His price for the brake job I received was at least $375 cheaper then the other quotes I received from the above mentioned shops. Costumer service is A1. I will defiantly use this shop again if needed.

Al is one of the best owners you will ever meet. I've known him for over 30 years. He is fair and won't charge you for something you don't need. His prices are the best around and he guarantees his work. Reggie, his mechanic, has worked for Al over 20 years and is exceptional. This is a long established business that you can trust.

Al is a God send. My car is so quiet now. I had my catalytic convertor replaced and they did an excellent job at an excellent price. Al only does what is needed and does not try to take advantage. He genuinely cares about helping people get their cars working and at a fair price. You don't see people like him anymore. Thank you Al!!!! Once again I came to Al for a brake job the dealer wanted to charge 1000 dollars for but not Al. He checked and told me exactly what I needed and did not need and did not try to rob me. Al is a Godsend. He always does Fantastic work and never tries to rob you. He is very fair and honest. I will come back again and again for his expert work. I trust him and his work. I love coming to him and never feel like I will be overcharged. Al is very honest and tells you exactly what you need or don't need. He is a Blessing. Thank you so much Al.

Al is very honest. He will not perform unnecessary work and charge you crazy prices. The dealership quoted me a very large price which I just couldn't afford. Many of my neighbors suggested Al. He quoted me a price that was less than half of what the dealership wanted. He saved me over $1,000.00. Now I'm a regular and tell everyone that is looking for a good honest mechanic to go to Al. He hasn't disappointed us yet. He is the best.

Walked in to get an estimate on a brake line, I was greeted with a disrespectful attitude by a very rude man which happened to be the owner Al!! Alls i was looking for was an estimate on the work high end low end just a general range of what it possibly could be pretty simple you would think right? Alls he could say was "well I don't know I'd have to see it first, couldn't tell ya, would need to do the work and would depend on how long it would take" absolutely refused to even give any sort of actual dollar amount, truly seemed he just has a general distain for human decency or customer service. Rude as all hell, disrespectful, zero customer service. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. In my honest opinion, go at your own risk! Truly not worth the effort.

The old man at the front desk was lazy and rude. His name on his shirt is Al. I walked in and said a light randomly came on my dashboard. Told him what light it was and asked if someone could go look at it. He wouldn’t even get out the chair. He told me to look in my car manual. What kind of auto service does that?! One that won’t get my money!

My (elderly) parents took their car here yesterday because they’ve historically have had great experiences with this place before; however, the person that “serviced” them was incredibly rude, and told them that their tire was “nickel and dime” work (and not real work). My parents were nice enough to patronize this place after the rude comments (I personally would have left); however, they will NOT be returning after the way they were treated. And let’s be clear: I don’t care if the service cost a penny; nobody, and I mean NOBODY, has to beg to spend their money! Also, we will be informing others about the poor quality of service.
