Not a fan of this place it was better before it moved. I made an appt for an easy recall fix but it was going to take 3 hours dut to lack of me panics and too many cars. What do appts do?

Had our car in for regular maintenance, brought it home, the car sat in the garage for a bit, went back to the garage and it reeked of gas. We tried to call the service center about it (same day) but they didn’t answer and had no voicemail. Finally reached someone in another department who told us the service center had closed early because of a COVID outbreak. The service center didn’t seem to feel the need to tell us this even though my partner had sat in their lobby for hours waiting for our car to be serviced. Ended up having to have our car towed to a different mechanic because we were afraid of a fuel leak. Turns out All Star Service Center spilled gas everywhere when changing our car’s fuel filter and didn’t clean it up, hence the smell. Thanks for the scare. Really appreciate it. We will not be bringing our car for service there again.

This location fro service on your Hyundai is the best, Manny at the service department is exceptional and will give you notification and specifics before you approve anything to be completed. The time table for parts is a little long but with the pandemic its expected. The quality of work is good also I went to the Tracy location once and they had cracked a plastic panel inside the vehicle in which they denied doing during a recall for brakes is in that same location nonetheless it was not resolved. Manny and the group there are extra tentative and transparent.

The service at All-Star Hyundai is absolutely horrendous, and it's clear they have no understanding of basic customer service or how to run a successful automotive business. We took our brand new 2024 Santa Fe in for service because the second-row passenger captain's chairs weren't dissipating heat. The vehicle sat there for three days, and during that entire time, we never received any updates or phone calls. When we reached out, all we were told was that the vehicle was "being worked on." To our shock, when we visited unannounced, we discovered our car was simply parked in the lot, despite being told it was actively being serviced--pure dishonesty. To make matters worse, when we picked up the vehicle and drove it the very next day, the battery was completely dead. We had to call AAA to have it towed to a different Hyundai dealership. Vallejo Hyundai quickly identified the problem--All-Star Hyundai had failed to reconnect wiring for the second-row seats, and worse, they had left a dome light on, draining the battery. The lack of competence, honesty, and basic care at All-Star Hyundai is appalling, and we will never return. After the exceptional service at Vallejo Hyundai, it's clear where the real professionals are, and it certainly isn't at All-Star Hyundai.
