I am almost certain that reviews are being deleted. My interaction with this dealership service department has been horrific.

Did what they needed to do! Good at updating me when I’d get my car. Pretty expensive though, but idk what they can do about that.

Todd was personable, efficient and honest. He made me aware the service was going to take a while and together with Ron Bauder I was able to go through my days without significant disruption while my vehicle was being serviced

The service team is very knowledgeable and courteous. The service writer Todd kept me informed with regular updates and explained the repair options in detail. I will definitely continue to have my vehicles serviced at All Star Volvo.

The service center does very good work, but the communication tends to be less than optimal. It would be great if it were easier to get vehicle status updates. This could be done by setting up a system where the technicians periodically key-in vehicle status, and the updated statuses are automatically sent to the customer or a customer facing lead before total release. Also, if a customer calls in, there shouldn't be an issue getting an update. From past experience, the call system routes to an answering machine for the service manager. This number is rarely answered, so normally it's impossible to get updates on a timely manner unless it's in-person. Calls to the service center should be routed to the on-site customer facing rep, and they should either give vehicle status or route the to service center. Anyway, all of this is to say that the experience could definitely be improved, primarily from the communication side.

Todd and Gabe make an amazing caring team! In the past I’ve experienced so many bad experiences with Volvo service department. Sadly it’s the only one which means I had to deal with them. Since Todd has been there it’s like night and day! Very appreciative, after four years of horrible service bad communication and a lack of communication finally something good. I hope management notice and do their best to keep good employees. Not sure of the receptions name but she’s equally as kind.

The work was mainly general maintenance with inspection of other potential needs. I was updated as to the additional needs and the status of the repairs promptly. The repairs were complete within a very reasonable time period. Actually, earlier than I expected. The team at AllStar Volvo treated me as a customer who they highly value! They even offered me an exclusive shuttle ride to my destination when they realized I had just missed the shuttle driver SO SO NICE!

I called and scheduled a routine oil change, I also requested tires rotation and balance. When I arrived at my scheduled appointment I was greeted by a service advisor name Mr Keith. I have purchased several vehicles over the last ten years from Allstar Automotive Group. Although I hadn’t had a bad service experience, I can say without hesitation that Mr Keith customer service is first class to say the least.Although I request ed a balance Mr Keith advised me if I was not having vibration issues that I didn’t need the tires balanced. He said a lot in a few words. Ethnics is a lost in so many ways, guys like Mr Keith gives hope that there’s still good people in this world taking into consideration world events happening every day. I must say my Service Team Todd and Keith deserves an A+. Communication was great. I dropped my vehicle off as scheduled. Once the issue was diagnosed (ESC light), Todd informed me and they were able to proceed with the repairs in a timely manner. Upon completion of the repairs I was notified my vehicle was ready for pickup.

Service went above and beyond to resolve the issues with my car. They kept me informed when the parts were back ordered and gave me a loaner while they worked on my car. Excellent customer service. Thanks Volvo!

Todd and his team were so great. Got my service appointment scheduled quickly. When I arrived, they quickly greeted me and helped me find a spot to work while I was waiting. The lobby area is very nice and clean. Todd came to me to provide me updates, explained everything in a way I could understand, and got my car all fixed up very quickly. They even washed and detailed my car for no charge. I would highly recommend All Star Volvo.

The service team at All Star Volvo made getting my vehicle serviced as easy as 1, 2, 3. 1. Appointments that fit my schedule. 2. A walk-in repair when I had an unexpected problem. 3. Open lines of communication to keep my anxious nature under control.

I was very pleased with the performance from the Volvo employees especially Ms. Liberty. She was very kind and catered to my every need as my vehicle was being attended too. She’s a winner and she definitely needs to get a raise

While it's never fun to have to deal with auto service issues, at least I have a good experience when I do use All Star Volvo of BR. I was so disappointed to learn that Steve Bellomo had retired (he was the best of those I'd dealt with during my many years of Volvo ownership), I'm very happy with his replacement, Liberty. I'm also appreciative of the discount given to Costco members. I hope that continues!

Love the video from the technician of the work he’s doing on my car in real time. Also Liberty at the front desk is very courteous and knowledgeable. Everyone I encountered was pleasant & seemed to enjoy their job. That’s a rare thing these days!

4/14/23 Service was great, and done in a day. A little disappointed about a missing lug nut. Had bought tires a few months back from here, and noticed a missing lug nut. Didn't make a special trip, but did mention it to Todd when I dropped the vehicle off. When I got home I noticed the lug nut is still missing. Driver side rear wheel. Car appears to operate OK. Being honest, I probably won't buy tires from here again. I expected better quality.

Do not waste your time taking your Volvo here, I had to take it because a light came on, but I literally drove to New Orleans to Bergeron because they offer better prices and service. For them to simply look at something for you here they're ready to charge $200 off the rip plus miscellaneous repair fees when you haven't even had any repairs done! Last time I came in April of last year there was a very racist condescending lady name Liberty working as a service advisor who told me that because my car was not a 2020 or up was why it was taking longer for my car to get a status update. As far as I'm concerned if it's a technician trained to work on Volvos then they should have training for any model so you shouldn't say that to a paying customer then I when I went to pay to pick up my car back then the lady who rang me out told me they tried to tell her she could leave early so that there would be no one there to check me out since she was the only one who knew how to check out. Now I've been charge a random $20 on top of the $199.99 diagnostic fee and it's bullshit. Do not waste your money here. Go to a shop that specializes in foreign cars because the prices they're charging are overpriced!

The service technicians cannot fix any problem the first time. In the span of 2 years, every issue I have had with my xc90 had to be fixed TWICE. Leaking antennae assembly? Had to bring it back twice and it took a week to get a $20 gasket ordered. A/C leak last summer? Apparently the technician only found one leak and I had to bring it in two weeks later to find the second. Brought the car in for an oil change, tire rotation and inspection. Guess what? Technician missed a major problem with the brakes and had to bring it back a week later - a problem that clearly could not have been missed if he/she rotated the tires. Just this December, I brought the car in for a computer recalibration because the adaptive cruise control was no longer working. It worked for guess what? Three weeks later and it needs to be brought back in for the same problem! This is a shame because the cars themselves are awesome, but only having All Star in Baton Rouge to complete warranty service on the vehicle is a major problem because NO issue is correctly handled the first time. What a waste of my time! UPDATE - Volvo's solution to my adaptive cruise control problem was to replace my "after market" windshield from Safelite with a $2000 windshield from Volvo. They said the windshield was causing the problem. Needless to say, I took it back to Safelite where the manager actually LOOKED at my vehicle instead of relying on just a computer error code and noticed a bracket on the front camera was misaligned. He fixed it for no charge and saved me $2000. Thank you Safelite and Volvo should be ashamed of themselves!
