I have been going to this Auto Care shop for approximately six years. I have always gotten outstanding service. I drive from the east side of Detroit to have them service my vehicle. They are extremely honest, polite, and professional. Unlike some other auto repair shops, they do not charge you for something that’s not wrong with your vehicle. I was told by several repair shops, including the dealership, my gas tank needed to be dropped in order to fix something on my car and it would cost me about $2000. Allen Park Auto Car Care fixed the problem, which did not include dropping my tank and it was less than $200. It was an easy fix. That’s honesty. I never had that problem again. I refuse to let any other repair shop fix my Honda. Thank you guys for ALWAYS BEING HONEST!

Excellent service. Had an issue with my shifter cable and thought I’d have to leave my car there for a day or so. I had it brought in and Chris the mechanic asked about it, and diagnosed the issue right there. He Swapped the grommet out and my car was ready to go in less than 10 mins! Super nice and reasonable.

I went in because my heat wasn’t working and just knew it was going to be a million dollar job but it wasn’t. I had something clogged and they blew it out but I did need a new blower or whatever it’s called. They order the parts, I went to get coffee and a bite to eat and by the time I was done my car was ready! The reviews is one thing I looked at to consider this place but what really got me was the phone call I made and to my surprise the gentleman wasn’t rude or sounded as if he had an attitude. Customer service is A+ , along with the service! Most repair shops I’ve been too always got over on me, being a female knowing nothing about cars but, they didn’t. They went into detail and explained everything that was wrong and other things that needed fixing. Thank you guys for your service, I am a very satisfied customer. My first time, and it won’t be my last!

I was referred to AP Car Care about 7 years ago and I've been taking all of my family's cars there for service ever since. AL and Christopher are hard working, fair, and good communicators. They don't try to sell me things I don't need and their prices are very reasonable. Other repair shops I've tried just guessed and I've had to come back and pay repeatedly for them to get it right, but AP Car Care knows how to diagnose problems correctly and you just pay once. They stick to it until the problem is solved and when they say they're done, my car issue is fixed for good with all warning lights off on my dashboard. Knowledgeable, hardworking, honest mechanics. My previous mechanic advised me to get a new car when my 250K car had issues shifting. I guess they didn’t want to fix it any longer so I looked for a new place. Chris let me know he loves fixing cars. One of his greatest joys in life is to have a customer say “wow” after he fixes their car. Well, I’m saying WOW. The dashboard lights warning lights that have been on for years and my previous mechanic couldn’t get to turn off are finally fixed. I have had a few things replaced at AP Car Care. My car is working better than it has in years. Take your car to Chris, he’ll be honest and do a great job.

Christopher at Allen Park Car Care has to be one of the most knowledgeable mechanics I have ever met. It takes him what feel like seconds to diagnose what is wrong with my vehicle when I bring it in. He is always helpful and informative when he's showing me things that need to be fixed or replaced on my truck. I drive a 2011 Silverado and he's been keeping her on the road and running great. I was in today for a quick fix and I'll be back in on Friday for more work under the hood. I can't recommend Christopher enough. I recently moved further away from the shop, but will continue to only bring my truck here. To top it off, he remembers me by name. Talk about customer service!

Took my Grandsons truck here for a brake check and to have the cabin filter replaced. They were so thorough and so personable. Their price are fair and we did not feel like we taken advantage of. Chris walked NY grandson through everything he did and offered great advice on how to maintain the vehicle to get better performance. It was a great experience from start to finish.

Made a appointment and it was 2 weeks away. When the day came I couldn't find a parking space in they lot; called and they let me know to just park by a car that was getting worked on. I came inside and the man behind the desk was conducting business with two customers. I just stood near the desk to let him finish. After 15 minutes, I thought Kevin would be done talking to the customer, then Kevin proceeded to talk about "Woman that chose husbands like their father" Now, I thought this was going to far; I was NEVER acknowledged when I walked through the door. Not a "hello" or "I be with you in a minute, have a seat" NOTHING! So I turned around and walked out. Kevin proceeded to come to my car and ask why am I leaving. Now you want to notice my after 15 minutes and walking out the door?!? Customer service is at a all time LOW; and I will not beg you to give you my money; I will go somewhere else. I explain to him why I was leaving and he asked if I could come back in. I let him know to finish his personal conversation and rolled my car window back up and I hope he doesn't do it to someone. EDIT: Thank you (owner) for replying to my review. You are correct, the person name was Chris and the date I came was December 20th at 11:15 am and left at 11:30 am. Please check your cameras for confirmation and I accept your apology. I hope this doesn't happen to another potential customer.

I took my Navigator to Allen Park Car Care for an evap system issue and asked them to also check my wipers since they weren’t working. It turned out to be a much bigger headache than expected — a rodent had gotten in and caused electrical damage. 😩 Chris was fantastic through the whole process! He took the time to figure everything out, went above and beyond to get it fixed, and kept me updated the entire way. Super professional, honest, and patient.
