I recently had to bring my Impala due to a bad oil change by another place in town. With the problems we were having, we weren't able to pass inspection, and the car was running pretty rough. With their patience, thoroughness, and communication, they got my car back to great shape again and she runs better than ever. They kept in communication with me about everything and wanted to be sure the problem(s) were resolved. I wish I had found this shop years ago when I moved here as I highly recommend this place for your car repairs. The costs were in expectation of the problem we were having and the time frame was quick but thorough.

I was having intermittent trouble with my car not starting. It was periodically blowing starter fuses. I am a intermediate-level backyard mechanic, so I did all I could think of (and learn from forums and YouTube) to diagnose and fix the problem. No luck. I took the car to Allgood and explained the problem and my attempts to fix it. They listened, said it sounded like the starter was failing, gave me a quote (parts and labor) to replace it, and said they would check for wiring problems and such before replacing the starter. By the way, I got a quote to replace the started from another local, well-known, shop with a good reputation. The quote from this other shop was $250 higher than Allgood. (To be fair, the other shop has a longer warranty, but I don't think it was worth the extra $250.) So, I dropped off the car at Allgood one afternoon. They got to it the next morning, called me and said they could not find any wiring or electrical problems, and recommended replacing the starter at the quoted price. I said, "OK", and a few hours later, they called and said my car was ready. I am completely satisfied with the work Allgood did. I think Allgood is a friendly, no-frills, no-nonsense shop that is staffed by a bunch of good, honest mechanics. I recommend Allgood to anyone who needs work done on their vehicle.

Very nice and honest shop. Their rates are reasonable and their customer service is on point. I wish I could remember the guy's name who service my AC on my car. He's great. If you ever go there ask for the guy who drives the blue Chevy with the ice cold AC. He's the best. But all each employee that I've come in contact with there were very cool. Keep up the honest and great work!!!!!! It's hard to find a honest auto shop these days!

I was referred here by a friend after my car broke down because it was leaking transmission fluid. These guys were very helpful and knowledgeable. Thank God it just needed a new drain plug and fluid replaced but before they diagnosed it John educated me on all of my options with the warranty I have with Kia. Also his dad took me home while they diagnosed it and picked me up when it was ready which is a very nice service. This place is amazing, I thought my brakes were out and took my truck to have new brakes replaced. To my surprise they called and said they could not in good conscience put new brakes on my truck. I still had 80% brakes shoes left. I was shocked. Not that the mistake was made but that I had found a car service that would bring it to my attention. Listen, from the management down they do the right thing. Speaking as a consumer who has been burned so often it is refreshing to experience a shop who does the right thing. 5 Stars for Allgood Auto Repair

My car place of over 20yrs is in Dallas/Uptown area and they are the ONLY ones I trust with my car, I don't even trust anyone to do my oil change but them! Well, I was just too drained and busy to drive all the way out there for a battery and I was like what could happen at a auto place if I just get my battery replaced... Well, long story short, there became a problem. Went back, they replaced battery and stated it was a bad battery, I was like ok great! NOT! Same issue light popped up. I went back and they said, it couldn't be 2 bad batteries in a row, so they said they would need to place it on the diagnostic machine for 150...BYE! This time I was like no way I'm going back, they don't know what they're doing. So, I tried to reach my car place before driving out there because they are ALWAYS swamped and I wanted to make sure if it was the alternator they would have the part(s) available the next morning when I arrived. I called them all day and no answer...so I started searching and praying I found a place close that had great reviews. I found 3 that looked promising. I read and read and read reviews and finally chose these guys - what a relief and a blessing! I was nervous because they had had my car for several hrs and me being impatient and trying not to stress, I continued to wait and not bother them. They called..........and said all looks good and it seems as though there was a loose screw or whatever and they just tightened it. They kept it there for hrs to make certain. How honest are they!!!!!!! I am indebt up to my eyeballs and I just didn't want to have to spend a lot of money or worse buy a new car. Thank you Allgood!!!!!!!!❤️ This will be my new car place, I hope. I am very pleased.

When I walked into thier shop, the floor was clean, it didn't smell of oil and smokes. You could tell they care about service excellence. The customer service is 5 star, the mechanical service was excellent and my truck issue is fixed. I've been a gear head since before I got my license in 1969, raced cars, did most all of the wrenching on everyone of my vehicles over the years. I recently had a car inspected by Ryan and was very impressed with his professionalism, courtesy, and honesty throughout the process. He provided a clear quote over the phone and charged exactly as quoted and did not up-sell me any other services. Given my experience, the positive reviews are well deserved. Update: Since I had a positive experience the first time, I brought in my 10 year old second car for a maintenance check up. Once again, Ryan was very helpful. He inspected the vehicle thoroughly and promptly (2 hours in the shop). Since no issues were found, he charged me less than the original quote. He also provided a fair estimate for parts that may need replacement in the future. I appreciate the honesty and professionalism, and I'll return when the time comes. Based on my two experience, highly recommended.
