My beloved Honda Civic 2000 finally died after 213,000 miles of use. Alonso’s gave helpful information about getting a replacement engine, but it was decided that it wouldn’t be worth putting a used engine in that might not run for long. A mechanic at Alonso’s bought my Civic, and they did not charge for the diagnosis on the car or the 6 days it was parked inside (normally they charge after 3 days for storage). Alonso’s was able to test another car I was considering purchasing the next day after I called to see if they could check out the car. They’re always so friendly at Alonso’s, and my family and I have been going to them for a few years now. We plan to be lifetime customers!

Their RepairPal certificate is a sham. RepairPal says the average cost for A/C service is $100. I was quoted $220, that's without them even looking at my car. I walked right out the door and across the street to Al & Lees, and they quoted me $89.95. DO NOT SHOP AT ALONSO'S. This is a scam shop.

I had my 2010 5 series BMW worked on for a fuel pump control module. The work done was so far so good I haven't had any stalls since the vehicle was repaired and it takes off a lot smoother. The customer service I received was great and helpful. The only problem I had was that once I got home my car had a notification for low coolant which was strange so I checked under my hood to see that my coolant cap was not even screwed on. That could've done way more harm to my vehicle had I not caught it as quickly as I did. Very scary to think about. Other than that I would recommend. giving 5 stars based on the excellent staff they have working the customer service department. They were great from the beginning to the end really appreciate them.

This place is awesome! Alonso and his kids run a quality honest shop. They don't cut corners and do great work. Even if you just come in for oil changes, you get a good value for your money. I've also had major repairs done here, they do the work fast and take pride in the quality of the work. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The people who work here are wonderful. They are very kind, professional and honest. I recently moved to this area, and recently a few indicator lights (traction, break, ABS) lit up. I had my car inspected somewhere else and they told me I needed to replace my entire breaking system, quoted me a price that’s higher than the value of my car, and tried to add in quite a few unrelated services… I came here and they gave me a very through explanation of exactly what is wrong, quoted me a reasonable price, and helped me fix the problem efficiently. Thank you! I really appreciate your excellent service.

These guys were great. I would not say they were the cheapest, but I did not feel like they gouged me either. They handled several services my car needed, they did it in a timely manner, and they were very professional and easy to work with. My car now feels way better, and they warranty their work. Sometimes you get what you pay for, and I will definitely take my car to them again.

I’ve taken multiple vehicles to Alonso‘s over the years. Spent thousands of dollars…but I’ve taken note that it seems like every time I’ve gone there recently, they always seem to find something extra that needs to be fixed. Dropped off my vehicle for some recommended maintenance. Ended up not getting the work done because they called me with an estimate of $2200. I noted in their recommendations that the engine air filter be replaced with an estimated cost of $191. For a part that costs $25 and takes about two minutes to replace. The recommendations also noted something about the brakes. I just had the brakes done for this vehicle at Alonso’s two months ago… And my wife, who routinely drives this vehicle, swears up and down that the brakes are squeaking Hard not to feel like you’re being ripped off.

I found Alonso’s through yelp and they had amazing reviews! I was not disappointed. I called Thursday hoping to get an appt for the following day and luckily they had an early morning time slot. I came in and they assisted me very quickly. I came in because my car’s hood sensor wouldn’t stop displaying that it was open. While they were trying to figure that problem out, they discovered that I had a leaky water pump. I’m so grateful they discovered that because an overheated car would’ve been a really bad situation for me in the long run. Would’ve caused major damage to my car. They fixed my car same day which I didn’t expect. They really made me a priority! The staff, the technicians were very professional and nice! The so isn’t even close to where I live, I will definitely come back because they fully deliver on customer service and workmanship. Thanks Alsonso’s for everything!

I went in to get a full inspection of my 2013 Honda CR-V LX and couldn't have asked for a better experience. 2018 ford fiesta 120k has some issues and needed a tune up. Dropped the car off overnight Next day, they looked at the car RIGHT AWAY COMMUNICATION: Excellent. They sent me a text in the morning saying they will work on the car and call me for updates. The technician Freddie called me through out the day and updated me with needed information. DROP OFF BOX: Shops closed at 5 pm and on the weekend so the only way for me to do it was to drop it off overnight. There is a Key drop box right in the front office. SERVICES: They couldn’t find anything with my car. All the items on the up check list was done. Car is still in good shape. Since they wasn’t able to find anything, they DIDN’T charge me at all. OVERALL. This isn’t the first time I used the local shop. Excellent service and hope it continues to stay that way.

The sign of a good company, at least to me, is what they do when things go wrong. Less than a year into my rotor and brake pad replacement, I started to have issues again, just outside of the warranty period. To my surprise, because there are hardly any good/honest companies out there these days, they took full accountability and redid the job for free. Alonso's Auto Repair has been taking care of my family's vehicle for years and always great quality service. Compared to some other shops they are a little bit more expensive however you pay for what you get and if Alonso's can they'll work with you. I have a old truck that they took care of and got running, had a small issue after I left and they immediately took care of it under warranty work. Yesterday as I was running errands my truck lost shifting and needed to be towed. Turns out shift cable came lose from the transmission and was quickly fixed before they close for the day. Instead of charging me for a new cable or even labor for the fix, Alonso's just reconnected the cable and said no worries. The customer service and professional quality of work is top tier and worth every penny.

DO NOT GO HERE. This place used to be my go to shop until I noticed I was getting quoted absurd prices for the services needed. Took my car in the other day for a coolant leak and needed one 12$ part changed out Had to pay 200$ for a diagnostic check then Got quoted $1494+ 490 for a temp gauge… 2.2k to replace a part is RIDICULOUS. Went to a nearby shop and paid 250. This place WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF.

Awesome service by Navy! My wife and I were on the way home from a vacation in Big Bear when I discovered the engine splash shield on my Challenger was flapping and dragging on the freeway. I had recently gotten an oil change at one of the national chains, and the guys did not reattach it properly. Navy quickly popped it off for me so I could take care of it when I got back home to LA. With no charge and quick and friendly help in a stressful situation, I would be a regular customer if they weren't 30 miles from my home. Very recommended. Thanks again, Navy!

DO NOT GO HERE! Had my second oil change at this garage for my honda. I questioned the kid why we needed an oil change every five thousand miles? He said, because of the age of my car and the mileage, it needed to be changed more frequently. Looking at the mobile one patch on this shirt, I asked if they used mobile one for high mileage on my car, he said yes. I said, how often does mobile recommend the oil change? He got really mad and said you should change it every five thousand miles or your engine will blow up!!! See from the picture it says in big bold letters right on the bottle, protects for ten thousand miles guaranteed!!! He got angry and said I could just change my own oil! I wonder what Mobile 1 will think of his statement?
