These guy's are the best,diagnosed my electric tarp problem pretty quick,replaced bows,fair priced.Not heavy on labor charges but fair and great Mexican food Restaurant next door while you wait.Im going back pretty soon to have a an electrical put on my newest trailer.If your looking for good solid service, these are the guys but you may have to wait in line bc they are busy busy busy.So call ahead and make an appointment.

Carl and his crew just made me my second pool cover from American Canvas. This one is for my new pool and as with the first one their service is exceptional and the quality is fantastic. It is the only way to win the war with leaves in the swimming pool. I wouldn't consider using anyone else for this job.

Wow!!! What a great company to do business with!! I purchased a custom pool cover from American Canvas in 1992, after 22 years the cover developed a small tear from rubbing against a stair corner and I brought it back in for repair. They made the repair at no cost, I tried to insist on paying and the owner told me it was a minor repair and easily fixed and simply asked that I keep them in mind if I need their services in the future. The quality of their work is so good, I doubt I'll be needing a new pool cover for another 10 or 15 years, but I will certainly recommend American Canvas to anyone who wants quality workmanship and wants to work with a company they can count on to stand behind their work! Our pool cover was made in the Spring of 2008 and is still doing its job. The fit and quality of workmanship is excellent. We have experienced no thread weakening or deterioration due to being exposed to the sun. The only problem we have had is the rubber bungees breaking over time. It is an easy fix to replace a bungee or two each fall during installation. I highly recommend American Canvas and will use them again if/when our existing cover ever gives up the ghost!

American Canvas did a pool cover for a friend of mine several years ago and he recommended I contact them when I needed some help with repairing/replacing a tow mat to protect my vehicle while pulling it behind the RV. I contacted them, and boy am I glad I did! They were very helpful and showed me several fabrics I could use. I purchased some fabric for my repair, but given how helpful they were, when this repair gives out I may ask them to make a replacement mat. I was pleasantly surprised at how helpful they were since usually when you don't want to buy someone's finished product, they don't have time for you; but they were really helpful knowing I only needed some fabric - and they even gave some hints on how to do my project easier. Thanks American Canvas, I will be back to see you!! My most recent purchase (Dec 2018) from American Canvas, and I am again very happy with my decision to use them. They recently made us a new pool cover (the one we had had served it's time honorably --10 years) and the new cover didn't take long and it is beautiful!! I will continue to use American Canvas in the future!!

I don't usually review products but every now and then I'm struck by either the support or the product performance that will motivate me to do so. This is one of those times. I purchased patio curtains about 3 years ago from American Canvas Products. I worked with Carl initially, their team of two guys came out and quickly installed the curtains. It was efficient, courteous, and the quality and performance of the product has been more than satisfactory. The curtains themselves (overall) are still 100% intact, the clear see through sections are still clear. The only things that have worn out over time have been the securing straps. And on that note, they have sent me complimentary straps twice now. I didn't expect free straps but I'll take a deal when offered. :) Thanks for a great product and support. P.S. You should've received a sale from a friend of mine in Southlake about a year ago. He saw mine and gave you guys a call.

Update in 11/15. Third season and its degraded and ripped apart. Carl went off on my wife for my review and assured they would not warranty or work on the cover. Why would we think they would? We are ordering a cover from a real pool cover supplier. Our $1300 down the drain. Original review when sold and almost installed:: Not as described. Having no luck getting a return to correct. To busy, to busy, to busy. Ill give it another week but thats it. We are going to have Loop Lock build a real cover and tie it down tight so the leaves don't fill the pool with the cover on.

I purchased a pool cover approx 2mon ago. It was fabricated,delivered and installed within a reasonable amount of time. I was leery of how the instillation process would take place in my brand new stained decking. Carl took the time to personally visit with me and send photos of samples. I was completely relieved. My cover included steps around my pool so it wasn't the easiest to fit. I love love love the cover. In one month of the leaves falling already, I am completely satisfied. I even asked for more "weight bags" to place around the steps and Carl provided without hesitation. Very easy business to work with and offered to fix any repairs in the future as long as I own the cover. It is not meant for animals to run across however my 80 lb lab already ran across it as well as the armadillo she was chasing and their nails did not puncture. Thank you American Canvas Products for making me a happy customer! I've already referred your name to another.

American Canvas made a pool cover for me 4 years ago. It is a great cover and worth every penny spent on it. This past October when a big wind storm came through heavy lawn chairs were thrown across the cover and they punched 2 holes in it. American Canvas repaired the cover at no charge! I highly recommend using them for any canvas needs. If I find myself in need of any of their products in the future, I will not hesitate to give them a call.

We are very pleased with our pool cover! We definitely recommend American Canvas! Once the measurements were taken (less than a week after we approved the quote) we were told it would take about 4-6 week before the cover would be installed. It is late October and we hit the busiest time, we were hoping to beat the leaves fall .... and we did!! Carl came in to do the install about 2 weeks after the measurements were taken! He told us that they saw that the weather was about to change for much colder and they wanted to beat the leaves fall for their customers! He is a personable & knowledgeable person and he took the time to explain to us the best way to install/remove the cover. He also showed us how to loosen the straps in case of heavy snow (unlikely here in Texas but it apparently can happen) something we didn't know or think about to relieve the straps from heavy load and increase longevity. We also originally had Loop-Loc come in to give us a quote and they were about 1.5x the price compared to American Canvas for a comparable product. American Canvas can repair any tear locally almost instantly as opposed to having to send the cover to a repair centers. We prefer buying from local businesses and we are not disappointed with our decision.

Awesome job! They went above and beyond the call of duty putting our pool cover in during a torrential downpour. Great job, awesome product and the kinda shop your want to call family. 2025 update! 7 years approximately later I call Carl at this AMAZING company and ask for some replacement tie down parts. DONE, in the box as we were chatting over the afore mentioned torrential downpour that he still remembers as well as I do. Amazing work and amazing service then and now. The product has held up perfectly and looks as good as when Carl and Chelsea installed it that night. This below photo is of the cover today seven years after the original install. You can’t go wrong and they still feel like family.

American Canvas is the go to place in Fort Worth for a boat cover. Outstanding Customer Service from Carl and his wife can’t say enough about how well they run this company. He was super great to drive all the way to my house in Burleson and measure my boat in my driveway. It was such a quick turnaround of only two days. I am a lifetime customer I can’t believe I didn’t get a boat cover from them sooner. It is all Sunbrella material which will last a lifetime and as they told me if I have any tears rips or anything to bring them back and they can fix them easily. For all of your canvas needs I would go to them no matter where you are in the metroplex they are first class.

I called monday morning & talked to Carl after ripping the tarp on my hopper bottom trailer & he said that they were busy but if I didn't mind waiting they would get to me as soon as they could. They started on me about 1 & by 2 they were done & very good price considering they had to work me in & very good work. I would highly recommend these guys for all your canvas needs!
