Listen I have the option to take my car anywhere I’d like for repairs. I always take my car to American muffler for exhaust repairs. They do repairs on the spot so you don’t have to leave it for days. The work he does is good and the price is very fair.

Can you imagine I went to this garage for a Brake and rotor changer I was charged $150 just for my back? Two back wheels The next thing I know my oil pan is leaking I stepped out of the Garage on a phone call And just that time he deliberately put a cut in my oil pan. I have pictures to show advice do not go to this garage because they're going to mess your car up.

My interactions with American Muffler has always been stellar. Always above and beyond customer service. They charge very reasonable prices for services that would cost hundreds of dollars at any other auto shop. The two mechanics that work there are very honest about what needs to be fixed on your car. I came here on Sunday at 1 to put some mufflers on my TL drove 40 minutes and he’s willing to get it done today and will stay late if he has to. It’s business like this that needs to be appreciated more. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone. 👍🏽

Worse place to change your brakes. They intentionally damaged my car muffler (that was perfectly fine) and also destroyed my ABS and Tire sensors to have me fix it at their shop. Dishonest people. Don't go there!

Waste of time !!!! Came in first thing in the morning told him multiple times it was a decent job would be atleast 1/2 hours of work told me he had it wouldn’t be a problem. Could just tell something wasn’t right and he wasn’t trust worthy. Checked on it again later in the day told me he checked it out truck was parked exactly how and where I put it so I can tell he never even pulled into the garage. I took his word for it told him I really needed this truck for the morning if u can’t handle the job just let me know I got someone else.he said he can do it an he’ll call when done. Never got a call getting to the end of the day get down there for him to tell me to come in the morning. It’s a big job. I told him that 3 times. WASTE OF TIME I don’t think he even does muffler work he had to call someone else just to “ LOOK” at the truck. Please just call Major Muffler and make an appointment you’ll be very disappointed with this place !

I live in Seymour, there are plenty of exhaust shops around me, but I will gladly take the 20+ minute trip up to Waterbury to have these guys work on my Ram. Very friendly team, very welcoming, and they work their asses off. They have worked on my truck a few times now, and I was always satisfied with their work and prices when I left. They don't price gouge you, they show you what their doing, and they're even open on Sundays which is a huge plus. Thx for the hard work as always guys 🍻

I've gone here every time my exhaust has messed up .. First time he told me I needed a flex pipe and he fixed another part of a pipe... My car came out SUPER QUIET!! I was in and out before an hour! They know what they are doing and answer any questions you have! I won't go to any other place to work on my exhaust of muffler! Stopped in today for a new flexpipe due to my exhaust pipes fallin due to the rust under my car along with him welding up whatever parts fell & was done within like half hour Forty minutes! They work fast and definitely know what they are doiin!

Called at 5:25PM for a muffler job. Was told to come down. I arrive 15 minutes after the call. Lights in the office looked off but people still in the garage working. So I ask the first mechanic if they were closed because I just spoke to someone about my muffler. He stared at me for about 5 seconds and went right back to the car he was working on. The search for a mechanic continues
