I was so glad to find a mechanic with great reviews, that worked on VWS and was walking distance from my house. However, I will not be using this mechanic ever again. He speaks to women in a very condescending manor. Although that annoyed me, I was willing to overlook it if he was an honest and trustworthy mechanic. I should have known you can't be honest and trustworty if you are condescending. He told me he would fix my sensor for $225-$230 I checked online and he was in the exact range other mechanics charge for that repair so I felt OK bringing my car back for him to do the work. I asked him to also check a sound my car makes. He rolled his eyes and in his condescing manor asked me a few questions about the sound. I could tell by the smirk on his face he wasn't going to check it. Later when I picked up the car and asked him about the sound he said, "Never heard it" which is a lie. The sound doesn't come and go, he never checked it nor did he offer to try and listen for it before I left. Then he tells me my cost is now $270. I asked him why and he seemed caught off guard and stammered and said, "Um, well, um, the sensor was more money than I thought" $40.00 more? And you didn't call me to see if that was OK? Very unprofessional and he made me feel like he was taking advantage of me as a woman. I feel like he knew all along he was going to charge me more than his quote just by how he spoke to me the entire time he was diagnosing the car. Women, stay away from this jerk.

Brake lights remained on, needed (Infiniti G35)small part replaced. The gentleman at desk knew exactly what the problem was and got the part from garage and proceeded to get the job done himself. I was there for no more than 10 minutes. Very friendly and surprisingly and unexpectedly quick Minimal charge compared to what a dealer would charge

If you have a nice car, DO NOT take it here. The place is a dump. I understand we all have different ideas as to what clean and business ready in is, but I think this place would challenge even the most lenient of vetters. The real problem is the attitude of the owner. Once I expressed my concern he did nothing in the way of assurance. The fact is he became offended and refused to work on the car. He obviously doesn't want to be held accountable for the return of a vehicle in the same condition it was dropped off, which was my verbal concern. Do yourself a favor and find someone else more responsible and ready to conduct business. But should you decide to leave your vehicle here, good luck.

Finding an Honest, Reliable, and Considerate mechanic with Integrity can be such a daunting task in this market. Art is all of the above. He will get the job done (CORRECTLY) and stands behind his brand and his work. As such, very infrequently the price may be a little more than he initially quoted, but still very affordable and fair and he will work with you if that is ever the case and will never price gouge you. He is rough around the edges and may have an old school personality which may not be favorable to some, but don't let that deter you, understand he's actually very friendly and cares about doing the right thing and fixing the issues so they don't reappear on you. He is very knowledgeable with all makes and types of vehicles which is evident by the various luxury cars you find around his shop that people have TRUSTED him with. He is worth every penny. Art has fixed my VW Passat for me and stands behind his work. I will forever go back and trust Art as long as he's in the business and I suggest you give him the chance. Be patient and he will do right by you.

Art is the Albert Einstein of German European vehicles. I was referred to Art by a good friend of mine, Anthony McKoy. I bought a used 1994 MB S420 the transmission started slipping after a week of driving. I brought the car to Art and he had my transmission rebuilt for a great price. 2 years later I had A/C issues, Art was very honest, and repaired my issue. Hands down Art is the best mechanic I have every experienced. He is not grumpy, he is Art. People are so youse to mechanic’s smiling in your face and rubbing your back, Art does none of that he fixes problems period.

My step dad has been going here since I was a kid. Recently bought a Mercedes and was having trouble with the car. After checking the computer and test drive, he was able to spot that the dealer I purchased car from put incorrect tire size on front. I definitely recommend this shop as does my step dad.

Took my alfa romeo giulia to art after mopar and alfa were absolutely worthless and frankly trying to rob me and tell me my car had issues that were only fixable my buying a$12K transmission. Art is every bit as amazing as the reviews have stated. He seriously is the einstein of “euro/german” cars. I’ve been taking my old truck (1994) and my new car to Motor Werks for several years now and Art is SO honest and knowledgeable! As a woman, knowing NOTHING about cars, it is very intimidating trying to find a mechanic and he has always made me feel very comfortable. Before I fully trusted him I would get several quotes and he was ALWAYS the best price so I stopped wasting my time going to multiple mechanics. If you’re in need, definitely give him a shot. It’s best to just show up because they don’t typically answer the phone.
