Brought my van in for a mysterious noise under the hood that seemed to be suspension oriented. Bill offered to and did take my car home with him in the evening in an extra attempt to drive the car around and identify the noise..........very over and above kind of service if you ask me. As a part of looking for the noise under the hood the next day, Bill casually noticed that a trim component under the wiper assemblies was loose, so he just replaced the clips because putting something back together if it is not right is not his way of doing things. Turns out...........the noise was not any part of the suspension...........it was the trim component! Bill's comprehensive mechanical care (that would replace needed clips that would hardly be noticed by anyone) led to the sudden and unexpected solution to a noise problem that eluded a few mechanics both in NJ and here. I HATE noises in my car, so I am a happy guy. Fairly priced, patient, willing to pursue your car's problem to a solution with enthusiasm..what more could you ask for?

Bill is great. He does what he says and says what he does, always! There is no extra add ons or "Hey, by the way, you may want to change this or that, etc., which you get so often with Tire Kingdom or Brakes R US". Bill has spent time with me to help me troubleshoot things that I can fix myself, but when it comes down to something I cannot do, Bill and his crew do a great job for an affordable rate! At Eddie's Auto Repair the techs are very courteous and knowledgeable. It's a neighborhood garage where the owner treats you with dignity and respect (a hard thing to find in today's world). It started out as short weekend getaway from Sarasota to St. Pete's Beach. Then here we go...car troubles and we're out of town away from our local mechanic. Thanks to Google and the reviews to find someone reputable close by. After seeing many positive reviews on Eddie's Auto Repair that's where we went. We couldn't be happier! Went to Eddie's for the first time after moving into the neighborhood in spring. They came very highly recommended from the curmedgeons at NextDoor. We own a reliable minivan that I just want to keep running well and head off issues before they happen. Mike was great, patient, and he explained stuff in detail. He was the first mechanic to point out the little tread markers on tires to me, and the printout showing that we didn't really need an alignment was a first too. He gave an estimate and then after seeing things close up, advised that we could wait a few months to do some of the work. He left money on the table in favor of being a good person - that's my kind of mechanic. We'll definitely be going back for our automotive needs, we can trust Mike and the crew to take care of us.

Bill @ Eddie's Auto took such good care of me. Autozone had tried to replace the blown headlight bulb on my van only to find the bulb wasn't the only problem. Bill took a few minutes to diagnose and fix the problem (blown fuse) and had me on my way. I am so thankful to him for taking care of it so quickly and for not breaking the bank. It's great to have a repair place we can trust right here on the South side of town.

Let's just start this review with the fact we have a car that is long overdue to see the end of its time. The staff from the office manager to the mechanic and owner are amazing. They didn't try to overcharge us for a radiator leak even though we had a tin of rusted parts. They even stayed late to finish our car. I will absolutely be bring our cars and recommending this place to friends

I can’t say enough good things about Eddies Auto Repair and especially Bill! We just moved to this area and we had a pretty bad puncture in our gas tank from hitting some debris in the road. I looked up a close auto repair shop and came across this one which stood out because of the great reviews. Bill ordered a new tank right away and got it replaced for us in such a short time. He was so helpful and pleasant to work with! He was honest and I felt completely safe allowing him to work on our vehicle. He went above and beyond to keep me up to date on the progress of the car and the price for the repair was the best around and extremely fair. Bill also went out of his way to top fluids and check the rest of the components on the vehicle and even offered to drive the car and follow us back home so we didn’t have to purchase and Uber. I was absolutely amazed and satisfied with the excellent service I received from Bill! Thank you so much again! We will forever take our vehicles to here and I absolutely will recommend this repair shop to everyone I know.

I called about the cost of a replacement battery. He told me the cost and that he could have one in an hour as he didn't have one currently. Without me calling back, he proactively ordered the battery in case I chose to come by, which I did. He was very thorough.
